Day 357/365 (July 9, 2015)
Went to work, then i headed to work then I headed to watch the Davenport softball team beat On The 20th Century. It was a fun game, and so was a little Andy Karl.
Then i grabbed Sasha's car to pick up my color run packet in Brooklyn. The traffic there was not cool but not tragic either. Found parking relatively easy and picked up the packet and my tutu. There was this fun water play area and roller skating area in the park which was nice. Then i made the trip home which took forever because traffic was a nightmare, and i took a wrong turn. However i spent about 56 minutes "driving" (I use the term loosely) going between the corner of 47th and 6th to 47th and Broadway... One street, only moved a couple of feet every several minutes!
It was so good to finally get home and eat something!
Then Katherine popped in later to pick up her packet.
Charlie was crazy for Karen's Popsicle plastic, he was really going for it.

Day 82/365 (November 8, 2008)
Oh this was a special day… first I lost the Shrek lotto then Sasha and I embarked on our crazy mission! We drove to Brooklyn to see Marty in his play, then drove back to get Sasha to see Tale Of Two Cities at 2 pm… well cross-town traffic is MURDER and she ended up being late… so she vacated her car to run (in the rain) to the theatre and I hopped over to find a place to park it. Driving in NYC is really all kinds of stressful and I forget how annoying we can be as pedestrians… I tried to be nice after I parked the car but it only lasted a few streets, oops! But I found it entertaining that I was driving a “little bug” so I thought it only right to rock out to Little Bug by The Spring Standards :DBut it is fun to drive sometimes!
