Day 10/365 (August 28, 2008)

(Chevonne, Me, Hope, Eliora)

Sorry for the delayed post, i was out late last night! I have always loved karaoke but unless it is Karaoke Revolution for playstation i have never found a place that i actually feel OK doing it at. Well for the past three weeks i have enjoyed Karaoke at TOL at NWS. It is always fun, and last night was no exception!

I was excited to hear that Hope wanted to come back, and so did Eliora. She even got a friend to come along (Chevonne). Chevonne and I performed Take Me Or Leave Me, which was beyond a hot mess because I have a hard time following music without assistance, and the words light up AFTER they are supposed to be said. I mean i know the words but without hearing positive reinforcement i doubt myself... but you know what it was a great way to start the night!

I also got up to sing Oops, I Did It Again... this went much better since i had practiced with a karaoke track of it previously (i know lame, LOL!) and i had the most unexpected helper during the song... he did the boy part, danced a little, and even called me Britney and reached up to grab my hand as if he were a fan... weird but whatever, and Eliora and Chevonne even sang some other songs... perhaps we can con Hope into it one day, but this was a group shot of us...

Happy times!

Day 9/365 (August 27, 2008)

This is sort of a cop-out picture but whatever...
This is the cross-walk between work and the train station. Seriously it is all kinds of amazing... the very first day i went to work there and was forced to wait forever for my cousin i tried to figure it out. It has sensors that alert on-coming cars someone is on the cross-walk so they stop. Yet cars can't set off the sensors. I just find it fascinating.

Day 8/365 (August 26, 2008)

This is what time i got home tonight! I thought today was going to be a nightmare of a work day since i had so much to do. I turned my phone off and didn't open up my email. I was able to finish so much without those distractions and then i was able to leave work by 4:55 without feeling like i was sneaking out. it felt really good, and it has been a great night. it may sound lame but sitting on my bed, fixing album artwork for my music, and watching veronica mars is amazing! i even went on a mini cleaning spree! I think this is my first real night in the whole month of august!

so thank you 6 pm!

Day 7/365 (August 25, 2008)

I saw Avenue Q tonight because Steven Booth was going on for Princeton/Rod. It was nice to see him perform again, he truly is amazing... i dont know why i didnt feel comfortable asking for a picture with him... but while i was waiting for him to come out i made this bar thing my home. I was sitting on it and swinging my legs and it made me feel like i was in a park especially since there was a beautiful breeze. I am by no means old but sometimes it is nice when you feel as though you are much younger than you are, in this case i felt about 5 :D

Day 6/365 (August 24, 2008)

Today i was in four states: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and New York. The two prominent places of course were Ohio and Chicago (Illinois), and as Betsy and I passed through a toll I found these two signs. I thought it was kind of funny that Ohio would be placed as a direction and it made me giggle when i saw them like that... i know i am easily amused.

After weeks of planning and anticipation everything came together so well, and even though i had a snafu at the end i really could not of been happier with this trip, and it reminded me that i need to do fun random things like this to keep life entertaining!

Day 5/365 (August 23, 2008)

Although i wanted to put the picture of me and Ryan J up, I felt like this was the best representation of the day for me. Here i am posing like the scare0crow from wizard of oz. I got up at 4:30 this morning and then Betsy and i made our way to Ohio... i found lots of corn on the way and well for some inexplicable reason it made me happy so i had to get a picture with it.

I still cant believe i am in freaking Ohio!

Day 4/365 (August 22, 2008)

I was really torn about which picture to use today. (See my Facebook for other possibilities). Should I go with one of my scenic pictures from the sky, or my surprise picture of me in the reflected mirror, or my favorite picture of the day?

Even though the scenic shots make me pause and think about the wonders of people and how we created such intricate roadways and other structures, i thought it was best to go with what turned out to be my favorite photo of the day.

As i took my seat on the plane i looked out the window and saw that the sun was reflecting off the glass. This picture represents my excitement of this upcoming weekend! I always plan trips but i never have the follow through, and i certainly haven't taken any major trips recently of my own doing. So here i was waiting for the plane to taxi thinking about how i finally was doing something i planned. I was traveling somewhere for no other reason than because i wanted to. This was my first major trip of that nature, where i wasnt depressed because i was leaving for work, or i wasnt going with a school group.... it was just me and for fun.

I AM BEYOND PROUD OF MYSELF!!!!

Day 3/365 (August 21, 2008)

So as i was waiting in line with Hope (who is a demon bitch by the way... not really but its from Hamlet 2) and we were talking about who knows what and my attention wandered up and i saw this sign. It was saying it was a drug free zone and this bottom part was the sponsor. It literally caused me to forgot what i was saying when i noticed the masonic emblem was used (minus the letter G) as the A in Masonic. People really cant understand what Rainbow is unless they were in it, or something similar to it. It is something that truly shaped my life, i wouldn't be half the person who i am today if it were not for that organization, and by default the Masons, Shriners, Amaranth, or Eastern Star. They are the sponsoring orders of The International Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Day 2/365 (August 20, 2008)

There is this water fall right outside of the building where i work. I find myself staring at it when ever i walk by because it just calms me. i find it peaceful and there are pretty flowers by it. I took this photo yesterday because i knew i was planning on starting this thing and figured there was no better time like the present then to take this picture. It is a side view of it, and i love how the water trickles down

Day 1/365 (August 19, 2008)

I am backtracking a few days to begin. This was taken after seeing Wicked Tuesday August 19. Kyle Dean was going on for Fiyero and I was crazy to be there. I am reminded of my loving friends who came to help with lotto, and the ones who tried, or sent positive thoughts. It is ridiculous how happy he makes me, and to see him as Fiyero from front row center was something that i can't effectivly explain. I was also wearing one of my new shirts and felt realy good about how i looked for the first time in a long time, and even felt like i should wear my sparkly necklace!
