Day 306/365 (June 20, 2009)

i got up early, and made some pancakes for breakfast... they didnt hit the spot i was looking for... then i went out for the rainbow rehearsal/meeting.

it was in a lovely room and i helped with rehearsal and then we had the initiation... wow there are so many differences from MA rainbow it will take some getting used to but everyone did a great job and at the end they did this friendship circle thing that i loved so very much!

then i left pretty quickly because it ran late (started late) and i was meeting Zina... but sadly she had already left to go home... i was sad but i knew i could have some fun with sasha and marty...

so i headed up, ran into some altar boyz flyer-ing TKTS area while i was walking... then went and got some subway and hung with sasha, marty, fred, and pip for a bit. i ate some interesting pickles (one was a cinnamon raisin tasting one) and we watched an interesting theater documentary thing on "the golden age"

then i went to path mark and did some grocery shopping and came home. the night ended (after much tv) in krysta helping me change my lightbulb in a death defying set up since we do not have a ladder... the sight of her getting off the two chairs, two speakers, 2 taped together shelves contraption was HYSTERICAL... she dove onto the mattresses/clean laundry pile near by to get off...

oh also there are harry potter movie posters everywhere in the times square subway stop! like every where and it made me all crazy excited! and at some point i did a crazy cleaning of our living room and my bedroom floors.

Day 292/365 (June 6, 2009)

anywho by the time i got home and settled in bed, and did some pant cleaning because of tucker pee and something else i saw my toes that had been in pain and it is hard to tell in this photo but man my middle three left toes were infinitely swollen compared to my right toes. they hurt wicked badly! thankfully when i woke up the pain had subsided a little bit and the swelling had gone down.

i got up and got ready and headed to a rainbow meeting for the first time in ages, and the first time in new york. everyone was super friendly and made me feel not awkward. the assembly is still pretty new and i got to help and fill in as hope, bad i know but whatevs! there were some differences and stuff but everything sort of comes back to you! then after the meeting they held rehearsal for initiation, they balloted this meeting, and i got to pretend to be the clueless candidate. by the end i eneded up being there for about 4.5 hours but it really didnt seem like that long and it was something i really needed and i am looking forward to getting more involved with this assembly and learning more about the NY differences and sharing my experience!

after it was over i walked and met up with sasha, then we met with krysta (after i got some good quality fred cuddle time!) and we headed out for food. i got subway and they got cosi and then we went to the courtyard and chilled there while eating... then i finally had to part ways.

i met up with diane for her 200th show celebration and shared in our excitement for kyle dean in n2n. then we saw altar boyz... the show was super fun since it was a double wunderstudy show... joey was on as luke (he is so great as luke) and mitch was on as mark (and he was super freakin' awesome!). the show was going so fine until something about you. ya know all i want to do is be pulled up on that freaking stage as the something about you girl, because when i was so very long ago they didnt take pictures and i want one! i understand and respect the rue of not being allowed t pull up altarholics but by golly it still sucks and is uncool when you are sitting next to an altarholic and THEY get pulled up onstage for the second time in less than a year. i wouldnt have been upset (well that upset) if i hadnt been at the show but i was sitting right next to HER! upset isnt the right explanation of the emotion i felt but i know i lost control and made some sort of face of shock/horror/jealousy/anger/???? and i keep telling myself to "let it go" tamra but its hard because i am naturally a jealous person. and well it just isnt fair... yes 200 is a big milestone but you know what so is freaking 100! how many people have seen that show more than 100 times? not that many... i am not asking for a pull up everytime but really i think i have earned it! 121 is a big number and do you know how many people i get to got and see the show? i mean i get alot of people there... i should sign up for the affiliate thing but would rather people see the show than profit from getting them to see the show (i am weird i know)... so that is my soap box and i am going to be not pleased about this for quite sometime...

moving on! after the show we went to TOL to celebrate and ended up staying until just before midnight... i also let someone in on my true level of crazy... still trying to access if that was a mistake or not... then home i went... but i didnt stop there! i decided that i should bake the cakes for the tony award cake i was making before i went to bed so that i wouldnt heat up the apartment in the morning or be rushed for it to cool in time... then i went on a cleaming mission to help make it much easier for krysta to do her finishing cleaning touches... then to bed i went at like 4 am ish!

Day 3/365 (August 21, 2008)

So as i was waiting in line with Hope (who is a demon bitch by the way... not really but its from Hamlet 2) and we were talking about who knows what and my attention wandered up and i saw this sign. It was saying it was a drug free zone and this bottom part was the sponsor. It literally caused me to forgot what i was saying when i noticed the masonic emblem was used (minus the letter G) as the A in Masonic. People really cant understand what Rainbow is unless they were in it, or something similar to it. It is something that truly shaped my life, i wouldn't be half the person who i am today if it were not for that organization, and by default the Masons, Shriners, Amaranth, or Eastern Star. They are the sponsoring orders of The International Order of Rainbow for Girls.
