Day 139/365 (December 3, 2014)
So I found out Mike Schwitter was going on as Pippin and I really wanted to see that so I Spent my morning at Pippin Rush and was able to get a ticket for Shoshana and I to the matinee. Then I headed to work for a bit and went home. While I was home I made the frosting for the cupcakes and then frosted/decorated them. They looked so fun and colorful and tasted good too! Then I packaged them up nicely for Mike and Adam and headed out to Pippin, Even though we had front row tickets which is where I like to sit for rush Shoshana didn't want to sit there so she asked an usher if we could sit someplace else. She said we didn't have to but of course I am not one to disagree in situations like that so I sat orchestra right begrudgingly. I am still upset I didn't sit in the front but at the same time I am gad we sat back there so I could see the whole show without straining my neck and I mean I could see the whole show, which was nice. Mike really is so great as Pippin. After we waited in the audience because he said there was a talk back so he was going to come out to say hi... he had so many people waiting for him... so popular! Said a quick hello, gave him the cupcakes, dropped off Adam's cupcakes and then went home. When I got home I began work on dipping the cake balls in chocolate and decorating them with nerds... also super cute and very sweet! Ben David popped in so I made him take a bunch to give to his friends! Then I headed out to Kayla's birthday party for some karaoke fun. The book didn't know how to spell December, i saw Kavin, and Rachel, and Hope, and sang some fun songs that others seemed to like my picks! I ate 2 slices of pizza and junk food which was not smart but so tasty! then I came home because I thought we were decorating the apartment for Christmas... I was wrong. Then I ended taking some of the cake balls to bring to Penski and Ally. It was nice chatting with Penski since it had been a short time,.,, then home again for good/sleep.

Day 353/365 (August 6, 2009)

after getting about three, maybe three and a half hours, of sleep i woke up and got myself ready to go to bryant park to save a total of 19 seats for broadway in bryant park. Having a lack of sleep led for a really crazy unhinged hyper tamra until about 4 when i crashed. basically i got there wicked early and set up a bunch of seats and eventually chris and lon showed up and helped save them until slowly everyone else came. I had been eating rice krispies from the bag before anyone else showed up and the powderiness was getting all over me and by the time i finished chris was already there and i decided i had a photo op and dumped the remaining powdery crumbs all over me resulting in that picture! it was the beginning of my craziness and hyper activity and even though it was the longest i had waited this year for any BBP the time went by super quickly. There were many snorts of laughter on my part too! anywho eventually michelle even came which turned out to be a nice surprise! (way too many friends to tag in my labels for this post).the shows that performed were the marvelous wonderettes (i love that music and the performers were talented and all but it just reaffirmed that i have NO desire to see it), the lion king (i love the movie but i really dont think i care to see the musical even if it is disney and i love me some disney), burn the floor (i was surprised they actually at least have someone doing live singing and the dancing was pretty intense but i found it boring and after seeing sound check i couldnt bring myself to watch the performance again during the actual event), and next to normal (such a great show and i was very excited that kyle dean massey was performing and even more elated that jessica was there instead of alice and she got to sing i miss the mountains. i really love jessica as Di way more than alice and it was nice to be able to see her sing it in the park and now have some audio) Thankfully the morning was a little chilly and just really nice weather and it only rained the tiniest of bits during sound check.
anywho so michelle and i left during burn the floor and we headed up tot he disney store so she could get a few ideas of what she was going to buy next week and to trade some pins she has collected that she had doubles of. after we walked back over towards next to normal so i could drop off some brownies at the stage door, then michelle and i parted ways. i went to the marriot marquis atrium and met up with chris, carina, steph, jerri, vicki, and lon. we stayed there for ages talking and looking at jerri's pictures and i ended up crashing from my hyper activity and was basically a lazy poop.
Then we went off and tried helping some of us out with lottos. half went to avenue q and the other half of us went to hair. Krysta and tucker came and met too... well we lost and it was my first time seeing tucker since he left last friday. he was slightly nice to me but did try to start biting me when i would attempt to pet him. basically i learned i am still very upset with him and dont really like him despite my continual trying to like him since the sight of him made me angry and well yea. after we failed hair, and the others failed avenue q we all met up to help out at rock of ages. everyone luckily got tickets who wanted to see it there and we even were able to get a ticket for ronald's brother to see the show. (Ronald works at RoA and he used to wor at NWS so when i saw him i offered the help.) i think my favorite moment of the RoA lotto (besides seeing the old spelling bee lotto lady who still remembers me) was when a youngish girl (probably 13/14ish) came up to him and asked him if he worked there and when he said that he seres the drinks she was like oh good i am going to buy a drink from you and he looked at her and said are you going to show me id and she was all well no i um left it at home... i just about wanted to die of internal laughter.
anywho then i said my goodbyes and headed home and ate some dinner and rested for a bit (though i didnt sleep) before i made my way back out to go to TOL for karaoke. I met up with Joey and it started off pretty bad since the system was not cooperating but luckily they worked it out and it was one of the more fun karaoke nights. Shoshana even showed up which was another pleasant surprise. i really enjoy my karaoke times every week, something to always look forward to and Patrick is always a fabulous person to see :)
then i came home and even though it was wicked late i had to tend to a few things and then i finally got to go to bed!!!!!!!!!

Day 346/365 (July 30, 2009)
it was quite a morning with emma curled up on one side of me and pip on the other side of me. pip loves attention and is not afraid of plopping himself in front of you for some belly rubs... but unfortunately for him i am cranky in the morning if i dont get to do some quality cuddly petting time with emma so after a few moments of moving him to my other side he learned :D my atomic clock decided it was going to be thirty minutes behind when it was supposed to so i ended up being very late to meet up with chris in bryant par.at the subway entrance i ran into mike and we headed down together and found chris holding lovely seats for us even though bryant park was a swamp because of the rainfall that had happened yesterday! my new flip flops ended up looking ancient and i got a sunburn on my face that looks like i applied to much red blush! broadway in bryant park this week was by far the worst of the weeks i have seen. the shows were naked boys singing (which i have never had a desire to see and after seeing this i know for sure i wont ever see it... LAME!) chicago (which was just dull and lackluster which is unfortunate) jersey boys (yea i love the mucis but it was just eh to see everyone sing it and i dont understand why every ensemble members name was read and they dont do that for the other shows such as shrek or the other ones i have seen this year, not fair!) and shrek. shrek had the potential to be awesome but not so much. the best part of the day by far was haven getting to sing for Fiona in I Know It's Today. she sounded amazing and was rocking some shrek ears with a tiara. (hard to see but that is her on the far left). unfrtunately having that be the first song that was sung made the rest of the day torture since ya know it was just bad. i mean Freak Flag had the potential to be awesome the song is great and the choreography they di was fun and funky but this is BROADWAY in bryant park not lip synch in bryant park. even though i know they had at least 7 hand held mics since that is how many naked boys had, only 3 people had mics to use.so john tartaglia and two others actually sang their parts live but the others were forced to li[ synch over themselves and well i felt it totally detracted from the enjoyment of the performance because part of the magic of broadway is the live singing part!
anywho after i headed home and made a pitstop at the store to pick up a few food items and came home and tucker and pip were playing along so nicely it was amazing!
eventually i went out to meet joey and we went to composer exposure part of the SPF festival (it was free) and they had cocktails for us also i ended up with a yummy prickly pear something or other... and we ran into Lil and Emily!
we got lovely seats and it was an enjoyable show even if the host was just terrible! i wish i had a recorder for all of the songs! one notable cute one was by the composers of taylor the latte boy. it was a song about "love" in the big city but it was so funny, omg! and my favorite was this song about two people trying to talk to each other on cell phones about their relationship but due to a bad signal it resulted in ther break up, really i wish i had a copy of that!
then after joey and i went to karaoke at the lounge and when we got there i discovered the escalator was working... for the first time in several months! i was really shocked! we headed downstairs and it was pretty much dead. i sang walk away thou and we stayed for a tiny bit before heading ut. however chris was back so it was nice to say hello.
i had thought i was just going to walk to 72nd street instead of having to transfer from the local to express since it was nice out, but right before i got to 59th st i was so overcome with exhaustion that i felt like iw as going to fall asleep where i stood so i just hopped on the subway there.
at some point during the day i finished reading harry potter and the deathly hallows and was quite pleased with this. i cant believe how much i had forgotten had happened in it, and all the stuff i did remember.
when i got home watched tv for a bit and went to go to sleep... however i would discover that it would not be so easy. i walked in and saw lots of poo on my floor! some was pip's knocked off from the wee pad and a big pile that was clearEly from tucker. so i cleaned up the yuck and thought i was done until i discovered emma had puked on my floor by the bed. so i cleaned that up and as i was leaving the room to throw that stuff out i stepped in dried tucker pee! so i cleaned that i was so furious because i was so tired and it seemed like every time i thought i had finished i had found more! but then i was finally done and the room didnt smeel anymore once i got rid of all that yuck and i was able to go to sleep!

Day 339/365 (July 23, 2009)
broadway in bryant park... i was going to get there really early with chris to save seats but i found out the night before that next to normal and wicked had switched places... i was supremely ticked off because the line-up was AMAZING and then stupid wicked came in and ruined it... why does wicked plague my existence?
anyway i finally got there and had a lovely time with everyone (like 16 of us) and chris was the list checkeroffer when people arrived... pretty funny! the show was decent. vanities i have no interest in and it was a shame that annaleise is a jaded former disney star and seemed to be bothered to be there. rock of ages was amazing and the understudy for drew was hot! (and talented to boot)
mary poppins was delightful but chooisng to sing practically perfect was a poor choice since it is a downer of a song... they did end with super...docious! (not attempting to spell) which i love that song. then wicked closed it out... grrrr! i took a ton of pictures during the sound check and recorded during the actual performance with karolina's camera however i didnt check to see if i had my adapter so i couldnt use my tripod... and well the videos i took were really shaky :(
i went home and ended up napping at one point and then uploading the pictures... only i stupidly didnt transfer the pictures to my computer before toying with them and make a big mistake and deleted more than 100 of the pictures i had taken, the ones i most cared about (rock of ages)... i was so pissed with myself!
then i went and helped chris with wicked lotto, and went to visit Sasha and Marty again... we hung, we remade Sasha's bedroom with her new set, and watched big brother, fun times!
Then i met with joey and we went to karaoke at NWS. it was quite the night and i had a new song downloaded... too bad the system was being extra slow and the words never actually appeared until about half way through the song... good thing i kinda new them, but boy was it repetitive when you dont know when the song will end (we like to party by the venga boys) someone i did not know helped sing it with me and drew danced with his poms up on stage... fun times.
when it finished i went home and had looked up ways to recover pictures deleted from a memory card, so i downloaded them before falling asleep.

Day 332/365 (July 16, 2009)

this is my clock, it puts time on the ceiling... the only way to see what time it is at night! In fact i am so used to loking up sometimes when people ask me what time it is my first instinct is to look at the ceiling, no matter where i am.
i got up and headed out to Broadway in Bryant Park... today The Little Mermaid, 9 to 5, Toxic Avenger, and Pure COuntry were performing. IT was a sunny day but i was armed with a bottle of water and a thing of sunscreen. I am so fearful of the sun and burning so i put more on like every thirty minutes and kept asking if my face was turning red! I was excited when i got there and saw Chris saving a bunch of seats so i joined him and he was very good company to have. the morning was lots of fun but really? OK so 9 to 5 was exciting but they only sang two songs (beautifully done) but why didn't they sing 9 to 5? I also think it is awesome allison janey came and did the park since some people are too diva to do it, however i wish her understudy had because i would love to hear the songs sung by three outstading vocalists.... i do love her acting dont get me wrong, but she just cant sing. pure country is supposedly coming to broadway in the spring, i dont like country so it wont be a show i will see (unless casting dictates otherwise) but the guy who performed had an incredible voice and was cute to boot! the girl had to read from the sheet music but sounded great.
Toxic Avenger, this was my first exposure to it and it seemed like it must be the fun musical everyone says it is but two of the songs sounded the same and some of the same lyrics so i was like huh? but the guy who co-wrote it and is part of Bon Jovi was there to introduce them, then joined in the last song towards the end and i was like oh i wish dawn were here. the other show that performed was the little mermaid... once again this year brian d'dario (spelling is wrong there) stole the show, there is no question in my mind that he has a bright career ahead of him i mean how many others are that professional and killer at such a young age? Let's talk Drew Seeley. i was excited to see him perform because um hello CUTIE! and he does have a nice voice... in the end he did sound amazing but i was so dissapointed because he sang the new popified version of her voice. yes it is a fun song, but in the musical Her Voice is one of the most beautiful songs and if that is what i was going to hear i would have wanted to hear the musical version not the pop version... and this is broadway in bryant park after all, not pop concert in bryant park! i understand reasoning behind it... i am sure disney spent a ton of money producing that one song so why not use it, but STILL!!!!
after it was over chris and i took a walk to the times square visitor center because he wanted to pick up a few of the show fliers and stuff and i was able to look in a mirror there and be reassured that i had not gotten sun burnt!
then i headed home and got some lunch, where i cut my gums on a peach pit, and there was blood and it hurt! it was a tame sort of day at this point, though i did a bunch of dishes. WHen krysta came home she cooked us a truly scrumptious dinner and we had a yummy dessert of brownies and ice cream. Eventually i got ready and headed out to TOL for some karaoke.
the nights was lots of fun and it was very exciting to have had some many friends there at one point or another. Kim, Susie, and Jo were there when i arrived and shortly thereafter Joey turned up. Before the night ended Andrew had even popped in! (and a few others). The night was filled with lots of karaoke from me... best part is i made it through the night without singing any britney spears even if there were protests about that. it was just a fun and lovely night :D Kim and i walked to the subway together and then i went home and fell asleep!

Day 325/365 (July 9, 2009)

i woke up on the earlier side and got myself together, then i headed to brooklyn and spent the day with judith. i finally met her cute dog Fei... who is about 35 pounds but thinks he is a tiny little puppy... so cute! we played speed racer and mario-kart on the wii... oh and some sort of sims mini game thing with "festivals." her mom also made some super yummy chicken and rice and i attempted to get judith a little more into twitter.
she was going to come to karaoke with me but we realized she couldn't so i didnt think i was going until i found out joey was going to be there too, meaning i had company! it turned out to be good she didn't go since i would want her to actually see it when it is happening and not the attempt at karaoke that fizzled because the computer was being wonky... but the night was still loads of fun with everyone there and the attempt at joke night... it was nice being able to chat with the peeps there and stuff, then at about 11:30 joey and i left and we ended up walking to 72nd street where i was getting on the train but we stayed there talking until like 1:15 in the morning! so then i went home and chatted with carina and krysta when they got here for a bit.
oh yea! i also ran into james smith who is part of my favorite band... that was a fun surprise even if it was while i was in the middle of combing my hair while on a subway platform... herumph!

Day 318/365 (July 2, 2009)

I had forgotten to take my necklace off the night before, which as you can see was a BIG mistake! I am allergic to anything that is not at least 14k gold, dont ask me why, but even hypoallergenic stuff has the power to turn me red and itchy (and in my ears swollen). as long as i dont wear necklaces for more than a few hours i am fine, but a full night produced this rather itchy red bumpy patch right where the pendant dangled all night :(
the day began with nothing new just being a lump on the couch... until krysta came home. she was bit with the clean bug and it trickled to me a little bit. (although i did hang my clean clothes up after two weeks all on my own before she came home). she did a MASSIVE floor clean, i mean she swept and got down on her hands and knees and scrubbed our floor like crazy and made them so clean and smooth. i moved the green futon mattress in between my mattress and box spring and my bed is so high up i kind of have to jump a little to get on since the bed is also on bed raisers. i dont know if this is bad for my mattress though but i dont want to store the futon mattress on the floor (eww)... anywho after i did this we were able to do the thing that needed to be done most after i had discovered it late the night before. tuckers pee (since he loves to pee on my floor close to where the skanky mattress had been dwelling until we got motivated to carry it down to the garbage) had been sometimes trickling underneath the skanky mattress that was on a big piece of plastic... and even though krysta and i have been cleaning it up whenever we saw it, we didnt know some of it was pooling underneath. well we lifted it up and found a rather large amount of dog pee that had been sitting for who knows how long and explaining why i was always complaining of my room smelling like dog pee! so we laid some heavy chemicals on it and cleaned it like nobodies business and found my flip flops that i have been looking for for a wicked long time! (this story is a little TMI i guess huh?)
anywho there was some freshening up involved and i finally convinced Krysta to come to karaoke with me. we headed out and while we were waiting at 72nd street to transfer one of her teeth split in half! i learned that i can handle blood and guts and gore, but i cant handle seeing a split tooth held in hand! shivers just thinking about it, but we went to karaoke anyway.
it was a fun night in TOL and the new sound system is so fierce you feel the stage vibrate underneath you! i had lots of fun singing and chatting with everyone there. especially Michael (one of the many rockin' box office guys), Patrick, Joey, someone i havent seen in ages and i cant remember her name because i suck at that, gabe, and zach. (other peeps too). two sets of people even sang *NSYNC which made me very happy and dakota even told me i am getting and sounding better at the karaoke :D (josh even swung by for a hot second). i would also like to point out that Patrick is one of my fave NWS employees... he is such a fun and sweet person!
we ended up staying out pretty late and after we got home and walked tucker a tiny bit it was like 2 am! i really needed a night of fun where i forgot about my down mood. and i ran into kyle post on the way into NWS, so i mean really? that was a pleasant surprise! and i got was paid another lovely compliment by someone else and made more plans to see n2n. i even only had one moment of "oh i shouldn't have said that" well at least in front of one particular person who i dont exactly trust and i dont think actually likes me... but hopefully she wont bring it up to anyone in particular... crossies?

Day 297/365 (June 11, 2009)
so the day was pretty good, tucker, emma, pip, and i all hung out... we went on walks (well not emma) and they played so beautifully together... pip is pretty strong and beat tucker at tug of war by pulling him across the floor repeatedly.unfortunately this ast week was one of tamra loses everything and i couldnt find my metrocard and it really pushed me over the edge of life and was upset i couldnt go to karaoke that night with kim and susie. i did end up finding it quite sometime later wedge between the kitchen table and wall... really? destroyed my life just a bit! i ended up watching lots of tv of course and i dont remember what else but i was having so much fun with mr. pip and i loved the bed he had made for himself in my room.
oh yea pip and i took tucker to meet krysta at penn since she was taking him to jersey... yea i am really too pro at two dogs on the subway!

Day 290/365 (June 4, 2009)

so the day started out with finding out softball was once again rained out... which turned out to be a good thing because i didnt feel like having to get ready for the day that early. anywho i found out during the day that mitch was going on for luke in altar boyz and even though i have been really good about not seeing it too often i wanted to see him as Luke since that is my favorite character. i also knew i would only get a ticket if i could get what i consider a good seat since i am a seat snob. i also made plans with kavin and he knew i would only go if there was a good seat.
well anywho my plan was to go to the box office then help mary lotto hair. i got to the box office and was not given very excitable seat options so i was going to hold off until i could talk to kavin and help wit hair... so i high-tailed it over to the theater just in time for the lotto and found mary, sasha, matthew, mackenzie, and zuri. luckily mackenzie was called right away so sasha and i peaced out! (later i found out my name had been called... yay?)
Sasha and i went on a mailbox hunt, and did a little bit of walking then i went to the box office to buy the tickets. well just s i was about to give th discount code i was told it was going to be a wunderstudy show and that mitch had been switched to mark and joey was going to be luke. so i ended up not getting the tickets because i knew i was seeing mitch as mark on saturday. (i have already seen joey do all 5 roles!) then we went back to sasha's and hung out for a while.
later i headed to NWS to meet kavin for the final round of karaoke idol. i made a random friend for a few minutes waiting for kavin, who it turned out was inside the whole time seeing The Toxic Avenger, and i chatted with Michael for a tiny bit while he waited for someone.
anywho finally met up with kavin and i got to sing twice during the night and watched the final round of karaoke idol... i wasnt happy with the winner but whatevs! it was so nice hanging with kavin and it was one of my favorite nights i have spent at karaoke because he is so fun and i havent seen him since january and we danced around and all that fun stuff... we left at seriously like 2 in the morning!

Day 269/365 (May 14. 2009)

blargh!
major "events/milestones" of the day:
woke up on the early side for softball... i got rained out, but at least this time i didnt go to the park first!
did laundry... first time i had to go to the laundromat in like 3 months, it was so horrible! i had to use the large machine that takes forever because of all the sheets and towels and stuff from our house guests, there was a smelly guy drinking some brown bagged alcohol next to me for a bit because there werent many other seating options, then after he left the same mother and child from the krysta, lizzie, and i laundry experience showed up. she once again did no active parenting with him and he took to me like glue and wouldnt leave me be and insisted on helping me with putting my clothes in the drier.... yea, so frustrating! i was able to read some more of Forever Princess (final princess diaries book) while there, and am back into reading so hopefully i will finish it on the sooner side!
packing... i have been packing for my roadtrip... i hate packing and always over pack, but now i am finished
i voted about 110 times for the vgl gay boys on logo's now next awards or whatever it was
i did quite a few dishes, though there are still more to be done
tucker was with josh today, and emma could tell i was getting ready for a trip so this is her protesting that
i am really bummed i cant go to The Mercury Lounge with everyone else to see The Spring Standards tonight. i havent seen them in quite some time and have no idea when i will be able to catch them again, so it pains me to not be there... but everyone so often i make a decision based on responsibility and maturity opposed to a selfish me me me choice and this has to be it. i have a very long (and early) roadtrip ahead of me and if i go see them tonight by the time they finish and all that jazz and i get home, then would have to get up for new jersey i wouldnt get any actual sleep and since i have to drive part of the 9 hour drive, and be awake when i am not driving... i just cant stay out like that, so instead i am going to swing by karaoke ever so briefly at TOL and then head to NJ tonight so we can leave bright and early in the morning (before the sun even rises!)
I also went to hang with sasha for a bit and marty was there and they were working on a figure out how they did that project and it was nice hanging and spending some time with them and fred and pip.

Day 241/365 (April 16, 2009)
Then i went to Sasha's apt and picked up her sweet camera and came back. Like i said Tucker was fine and then i passed the time until i got ready for realsies.
I headed out to Kenny's Castaway to see Frisco Verdes perform. I was quite excited that it was easy to get to if i used the A train and i didnt have to do any crazy transfers of the like, then walk a bazillion miles away. I met up with Karolina and then we went in and met Diane. The only open table was in the front and it was actually two tables but a chair had a coat on it and there was a used beer glass. I moved the beer glass to the table that had the coat and chair then moved a chair to the other table and split them up a bit. FV didnt start when we thought they would (of course) and we had to scream to hear each other over the loudness. Our waitress was pretty bad too. Frisco Verdes was great of course and i was able to take some pretty awesome pictures when i got the guts to use the flash. I mean i was told i could but i still felt bad, next time i will do so more! Diane and i also learned that we were so not on the same page for our road-trip in May... gotta work on that.
Then we headed out and went to see karaoke for a hot second, but left shortly there after because diane saw the time and was like i need to catch a train so i didnt even get to sing a song... oh well!
ps insomnia is the stroy of my life still and if it changes i will let y'all know!

Day 234/365 (April 9, 2009)
the day was well spent in my opinion... after taking lots of cute pictures of fred i went on a carzy job application spree... like twice as much as i usually do! i also took a little nap at some point and showered and headed out and about.i went to go meet mary and susie for a night of fun and as i was climbing up the subway steps i saw mary pass by, so we walked and as we did we were like where are we meeting susie and a few seconds later we saw her before we got our answer. we went to Vynl and got some yummy food... instead of getting the BLT i love so much i branched out and got a turkey burger that was just amazing, it has apples in it and some spices... yum! i met Lil for a hot second and she gave me a cute easter card and little easter goodie cup. i wish i had my act together like her to pass that stuff out! I was also quite surprised/pleased to hear someone call my name in Vnyl and look over and see Laura! unexpected friend encounters are quite appreciated.
After dinner we went and sat in the courtyard talking for quite sometime until we got really cold so we "moved the party" to starbucks. the great thing about starbucks is they dont make you buy anything and so yea we stayed until we moved to TOL. it was too early for karaoke which we knew but it was kind of nice being there with almost no one there and being able to chat still and catch up with dakota, drew, and michael/george.
Karaoke started off quite busted with microphone and sound issues but then worked out and we found a Carlos 3.0 and there were some other musical theater "kids" that were singing and having a good time. Mary also knows me far too well from when i started laughing while singing a song... and it was nice having such lovely times with susie. we finally bounced on the earlier side because we were all tired and Mary had to get to Jersey.
While on the subway i found my camera in the outside pocket of my purse which i had checked several times but the pocket never seemed deep... guess it was really deep and i found out on accident, i was quite happy! i also got really sad/reminicent (spelling blarg!) over Rent because i saw a pretty boy and he made me start singing one song glory and then next thing you know i was all missing it.
i got home and krysta was excited about her new dog and well right now it is 3 am and we are still up... i also came to a realization about "my list" i really didnt think this would happen but the order has changed ... there is a new number 1 to which krysta said she has known for a while but i didnt until tuesday/tonight. i also scandalized mary while simeltaneously making her proud by "growing up." and at one point both krysta and i have hoisted fred up to the ceiling because he is after something imaginary... but whenkrysta was doing it fred ended up trying to deshirt her.... and he and emma were having serious play time... well play for fred, not so much for emma!
i also have been trying for a a day or so, but now really trying to add wicked back into my vocabulary. Growing up in MA (and well new england i guess) wicked is an adjective that is used often. I did not realize that it wasnt a regional thing until i went to school in NY and people would chuckle when i would say something was wicked awesome or whatnot... so slowly it left my vocab, but i want it back in because i love it so, i also feel like people might think i am using it because of the musical but gosh darn it that word was there long before the musical (or even the book) was so by golly into my vocabulary it will go again! besides i am not a bog fan of the musical... sure it has some great songs, but it also has some boring songs, and yes the costuming and set is beyond stellar and i think everyone should see it but man oh man i just dont so much like the show on a continued basis and am kind of sad about the amount of times i have seen it... ending tangent and watching bones before going to bed even though i should just go to bed... or maybe i wont, i have no idea!

Day 220/365 (March 26, 2009)
I got in and swung by Sasha's since she said Marty was there and we played with Pip for a bit. (Then she let me leave my laundry there while i went to NWS.) then i went and met mark at chipotle for dinner (yum!) Then we went over to NWS to see altar boyz which was fun, though i HATE that they use a spear now instead of a whip since the whip broke. It was werid because although i had seen the show the week before it was almost a month since i had seen some of them so it was kind of like seeing the show for the first time all over again, because mihael was back, and i hadnt seen travis since the anniversary because i saw the show when jesse did mark.
then Mark and i went to TOL for some karaoke fun and of course i sang lots and eventually susie and kim came and it was so much fun having them be there again and i am glad they decided they need to come every week now too! we closed the karaoke down then kim and i went to sasha's to pick up my laundry and ran into the boys... then i headed home!

Day 213/365 (March 19, 2009)
I went grocery shopping; I baked, and got ready to go out. After I dropped off some cookies I spent some time walking around times square pretending to be a tourist and even walked up the TKTS steps and then because I was just chilling by my lonesome I became like the official photographer for a bunch of people. Then I went to visit Sasha and Pip. I also discovered the popcorn store was no more :(
I spent lots of time there and it was nice and at one point Pip ran a marathon my face and stuck his paw in my mouth and then licked my face. This resulted in a very red/splotchy/itchy face. Sasha let me use her face wash and it stopped itching but took a little while for the redness to go away. Eventually I had to leave to meet Hope at starbucks and then we headed over to NWS/TOL to do some karaoke.
It was so crowded there because there are now three shows going on and it was lots of fun singing and I even got Hope into the action! Then we went home and went to sleep before she had to leave. I also left TOL with quite a feeling of OH NO, but luckily Sasha helped me feel better about that via a text conversation.
Day 206/365 (March 12, 2009)
So much happened on this crazy day.
It was an early day that brought me to do laundry because I hate to come back from trips with a messy laundry basket (and sink but I forgot to do the dishes). I felt like Krysta going to do it because I was wearing flip-flops even though it was slightly chilly and I was wearing her ASU hoodie. I needed to wash the Kentucky one and I realized I couldn’t bring that one to Texas because it says wild cats on it and well I am going to see high school musical which of course has wildcats as their mascot!
I used laundry time to go to CVS and pick up travel sized items and then had an unusually pleasant conversation with my other on the phone that last for over an hour! When I got back I put away my clothes and begun to bake. I made some M&M cookies because I was going to see Matthew is his show later that night and I always promised him that I would bring him cookies if he was in a show! In the midst of baking I began to pack and must say I was very proud of myself because I have never packed so efficiently in my life! Everything fit well and was easy to carry!
Eventually I made dinner and took a shower to get ready for my outing into the outside world. I was also excited to find out Krysta would be joining me since this was also the only performance of his she would be able to catch and I got to see her newly cut hair with bangs that looked great!
Our train moved us along to W 4th street and record time and when we emerged we found a place that had such yummy gelato! Then we went to the performance space and waited. We lucked out and had Matthew’s mom, and brothers at the performance too! Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen his show, A Strange Serenade, which is part of The Short Attention Span Festival of musicals.
The first show was comprised of two guys and a girl. As a musical it sucked… there was no book, it was just songs and these songs didn’t really string together a story they were just individual songs. As far as talent the songs were pretty good, and some down right funny and the people were great singers (most of the time). There was a song about sticking a knife in someone’s heart (and other violent things) that I found downright amusing… and there was a song that had a Patti LuPone freak out moment in it… you know Patti that may have been the most unprofessional thing but it has given us so many wonderful comedy moments now because of it!
The next show was torture. Krysta even put it up there on the list of the disaster that was Nero! All I know is they needed to stop singing about twine and the guy needed to know his lines better. This was part of the SHORT ATTENTION SPAN Theater it should have ended long before it did.
I was so relieved after Matthew’s show was over because it was actually good. I was excited to see Matthew in a show and he (and the others) rocked it. It was about a guy and a girl meeting in a coffee shop on a first date and the girl has this barbershop quartet that follows her around and adds musical moments to her life, and one of them says some funny things to the guy. The guy turns about to be a little crazy and carries a stuffed animal frog around with him everywhere and speaks for him in a frog voice and his name was, I believe, Finneas The Frog. The show was super cute and pretty short, but it had the elements of a good story and was done well. I really am just so proud of Matthew for jumping into this show and making it seem like he had been with it since they begun rehearsals… He is going to go far I am sure!
The final show… oh my goodness! So many things to say about it. As a musical not so much there was a very loose story line and towards the end of it I did feel like they were just sort of beating a dead bush and no book… however it was still hilarious and the people that were in it did such a terrific job! They were all rats and dressed that way (including some seriously long tails). When the show was over we couldn’t stop singing “rats in the city” and “these titties ain’t going to sell themselves, but if they could baby that would be all sorts of good.” The songs were just funny and outrageous and catchy! One was even a rat singing about watching his family being stepped on and him having an eyeball of one of his sons on him… good times! I wouldn’t mind seeing it again sometimes you just need songs that are about nothing with a catchy tune to have a good time!
****END SPOILERS****
After the show our superstar was excited to get cookies, and then we walked to the subway… Krysta failed at stealing a Rooms poster because it was up there pretty good, but fear not we will try again! Then Krysta and I went to karaoke at TOL. She discovered a new drink thanks to Karolina… an amaretto sour, and I sang two songs. I usually only sing songs if I know them well enough thanks to the problems the karaoke tracks have but I really like the song Pour Some Sugar On Me… even if I only know the chorus… yup basically never singing that again train wreck would be putting it lightly but I sure had lots of fun! Later I felt the need to redeem myself so I went with one of my better songs Oops I Did It Again,…, and was highly amused before the music started when Chris yelled from the audience Britney! They know me so well there!
We also had a conversation with someone about Pogs and what kind of slammers we had… yay for real dead scorpion slammers with a purple background, and random sparkly ones that actually worked. Then we headed home.
I did some last minute packing items like chargers and I don’t remember what else but I got everything done and had a little bit of a nap before having to wake up!
AND at some point while packing I remembered I had a hoodie I could wear to Texas and it was green so I chose to bring that since I will likely be wearing it at the parade I am going to and I would like to have some green seen since it is a St. Patrick’s Day parade and my “everyone loves an Irish girl” shirt will be covered by it.

Day 199/365 (March 5, 2009)
I baked and ate a lot of brownies... but the birthday boy got them no worries!
I saw Rooms from front row and liked it alot. It seemed a little slow to me until Scottish Jewish Princess and then it was awesome! i cant wait to see it again... i went with Matthew and Mackenzie which made me happy because i hadnt spent real time with them in a while... then i hung out at TOL for a tiny bit of karaoke before going to Sidewalk Cafe to meet Karolina and see Frisco Verdes. The lights were too bright at karaoke and since i was barely there i only sang once.
technically i shouldnt talk about FV since they started playing well after midnight but i wanna break up my happy news posts. (this photo however was taken before midnight). THEY HAD LIKE 4 NEW SONGS AND THEY SOUNDED GREAT AND (stupid caps)... it was just fun to see them perform again, and i am sad i am missing the next show, but not too sad since i will be in Texas!
After the show something seriously awesome happened... and it is proof that "I am that good" so karolia asked me to be her Maid of Honor! but she did it in a fun/clever way!
She handed me a hangman game... it had no punctuation just dashes for the letters and slashes for the line breaks. She wouldnt give me any hint or subject and wouldnt even let me guess letters... she just said to figure it out.... and scarily i did on my first try
_ _ _ _/_ _ _/_ _/_ _/_ _ _ _/_ _/_ _ _ _ _ now if i am not amazing for figurng out will you be my maid of honor i dont know what i am!
Then after we chatted with the band we cabbed it to dianes parked car by NWS and i rode the subway with her to chambers street... then i got on my train there and headed home.
I didnt go to bed right away since krysta and i caught each other up on the happenings of our night,

Day 192/365 (February 26, 2009)

Today was another day filled with boredom, but i was able to eat some of one of my favorite cereals Raisin Bran Crunch. Later i had some yummy tomato and avocado.
Failure of the day: Altar Boyzopoly... i made some pretty graphics for the board but for some reason i cant get it to load on the page and i am beginning to think it will not be finished by the anniversary and that makes me more than a little sad!
I found a new show i kind of like called Burn Notice thanks to Grace.
I went to meet Grace outside of Blithe Spirit since she was seeing it.... turns out it ran way longer than they told her and i spent about 40 minutes in Shubert Alley with nothing to do but listen to music and walk around... but i was passed by Christian Anderson, Two Mermaids, and Heidi (so an octopus.)
FInally i left the stage door madness so i could meet Jake for karaoke fun to begin... and we had alot of fun! Grace came when she got autographs but by the end of the night there was alot of singing... as Lympus said we were doing a set. (hehe). But We sang Light My Candle and We Didn't Start The Fire. We failed at Can You Feel The Love Tonight since the words didnt come up and it was the eltn sung version, not the nala and simba sung version. What else did we sing?
We also got Grace in on the action for Wannabe... and she sang New York New York with Jake and i sang Take Me Or Leave Me with her... and i even let her sing Maureen which i never do since i like maureens part better, but that is just the diva in me! So i tried to work Joanne's part. They have a new drink there for Rooms, it is called Romance on the Rocks, and it is very sweet... i liked it but not enough to get it again.
I also decided i like the production people involved with Rooms because they were having lots of fun there too... yay for fun people in TOL!
This picture is my "tourist" picture because when i got off the subway to wal to meet grace i realized i hadnt taken any pictures today so i took this one just in case i didnt take one before midnight... good thing too because it was the only picture all day!

Day 185/365 (February 19, 2009)

Today was an interesting day. i consider the day beginning at 4:10 when i met up with Mark. I met him at the Marriot and we hung there for a really long time until we headed to get dinner before seeing Altar Boyz. It was a nice surprise to find out Mary would be joining us.
After yummy chinese food and good conversation we headed over to NWS. We hung in TOL for a while until it was close to showtime. Mary had fun playing with my phone and getting a feel for it since she is likely getting an iPhone soon, and we all kept up with our lovely conversation.
Mary went home, and Mark and I saw Altar Boyz. I love this show so much, but i think for the sake of me continuing my love for it i need to take a little bit of a break from it. There have been 19 days in February and i have already seen it 5 times! After Diane's anniversary celebration, and the actual anniversary celebration i wont see the show again until April... unless there is a special wunderstudy action reason.
After this point the rest of my day can be found in my LJ account, but only if we are LJ friends since it has personal stuff in there. Except this is a picture of krysta's room and i am proud of her because this is the first time in at least a month she has had floor space.

Day 164/365 (January 29, 2009)
This was the last day Lizzie was here and we went to karaoke later that night... it wasnt very active but we still had a great time and did some singing... we sang you cant stop the beat in honor of us singing that the first night she had come, and i ended by ad libbing "unless you go back home to north carolina"
i am glad she had a good time while she was here, but i still miss her!

Day 157/365 (January 22, 2009)
So Lizzie decided to stay longer for her job hunt and we spent the day applying to places online, and then we headed over to TOL for karaoke night where we met up with Lil.
There wasnt that many people here this week (which was kind of nice) but it was still lots of fun. By the end of the night i had seen two people sing that i never thought i would see sing (RL and "george michael") and i had sang a bunch of songs... there was my favorite which ended up being the maureen part to lizzie's joanne of take me or leave me, techno its gonna be me with the wrong words on the screen (good thing i knew the right ones), the shoop shoop song, and walk away by kelly clarkson.
Lil even sang! i also was a little offended because a drinking club approached me and assumed i was a drinker and asked if i wanted to join there club, i was like dudes i have been drinking like 4 shirley temples and they were surprised... just because i sing karaoke in a bar doesnt mean i am a drinker! i just like to have fun!
i also was involved in a conversation with some people that made me a little sad but i kept a straight face when in my head i was saying TMI TMI TMI.... need to leave. It wasnt bad but we all know how i am easily scandalized and it doesnt take much...
i also learned this evening i need to get my happy self to Texas in March... i will make this happen somehow, if it is the last thing i do!
Fred and Emma were also being really cute!
