Day 355/365 (July 7, 2015)

Went to work then to trader joes and my jenny appointment. Then i went home to drop off my food and relax for a touch before heading out . I was meeting up with Megan and Hope for dinner at the Sugar Factory so I went 90 minutes early to put our name on the wait list. Then i went to kill time at a Coffee Bean until meeting with the ladies. good thing i got there when i did to put our name in because we still had to wait until 8:15 for a table!

We got a Berry Bliss goblet which let me tell you was no joke! so much stronger than the one i got last time! It was nice having a ladies night and catching up with Megan one last time before she moves back home to Nashville... gonna miss her!

When our evening was over w headed home and Hope and I had a lengthy much needed conversation about my life on my stoop. Unfortunately while we were doing this some creepy guy came over and was harassing us and planted a kiss on hope's very unwilling cheek. If Philippe had been there instead of random dude working at Brazil Brazil I know he would have helped us.

Earlier in the day had especially bad texts with the roomies about our moving situation and Sasha telling me things like just get over it.... that doesn't really work for people.

I also spent a good portion of the day trying to locate an emergency piano player since the one who was supposed to play tomorrow bailed.

Day 338/365 (June 20, 2015)

Got up early and Karen, Jess, and myself met up with Avi for breakfast at The Sugar Factory. We shared two goblets and I had such a yummy breakfast (Apple Pie Waffles). Then we popped into a little market and walked back to my place via the Highline where it rained on an off. The Highline had a Lego thing so we added to it, i finished some staircases and left a "T"

Then on the way home we popped into another market that had a restaurant called "The Cannibal" and I still have issues with its name!

Then to my apartment for a few hours. Everyone ended up napping, though I only got in like 5 or 10 minutes, the others were nap champs! Then we got ready and headed out for the official start of Jess' bachelorette party! She was wearing a tiara and sash that both said "Bachelorette" so no mistaking our fun. We met up with her friend Tricia (and Richard) and played some mini-golf. While there a mom had a little boy tell Jess congrats which was so cute. Then we took an uber to our restaurant (Tijuana Picnic) and the food turned out to be super tasty! There was a bar next door with arcade games so we popped in there for a tiny bit to kill some time before we went to Escape the Room.

Escape the Room was really fun even though we didn't escape. Missed two locks only, so we were close! I was disappointed that there was another group placed in there with us that we had to work with. I don't know if they helped us or hurt us. The monitor did tell us that we worked really well together and that we not only solved things in a different order than most people but she was impressed that we didn't ask for our first clue until 20 minutes had passed.

After that was over we headed to a "secret" speakeasy but they were full... so we tried a couple others until we ended up in PDT which is hidden in a place called Crif Dogs. It was pretty cool I must say, would love to check out some other secret bars! Then we ended up calling it a night around midnight and got some pizza before heading home. All in all it was a successful night and I am glad she had a great time!

Day 287/365 (April 30, 2015)

Got up and headed to the office early, then helped hang a couple dry erase boards. We had everyone in the office for once... even our remote employee! We had like a 5 hour meeting, rough!

Then later I needed to figure out a way to professionally slap someone up side the head because of something. Then i headed off to home while taking a long walk via central park to get more walking in. I popped into the Marriot Marquis and met up with Zach and Brian for a bit, then popped home to change and met up with Jo Ann. Jo Ann's drink looked beautiful!

We went to The Sugar Factory and over ate the most wonderful stuff. Since I was already on a sugar high from over eating my baked goods this was probably not the best thing, but oh so tasty! We had mac and cheese balls, chocolate fondue, and I had a root beer float made entirely from alchol and a buffalo chicken sandwich that was divine.

The food was awesome and the wait staff were very attentive. It was nice to have our dinner date, then we walked back uptown and eventually I went home.
