Day 346/365 (June 28, 2015)

the day started out slow and ended up confusing but lovely in the end. It was rainy so that eliminated most options. I almost want with Sasha and Karen to Maine for the day but when I realized they were planing on being gone all day and not just a few hours I didn't want to leave my mom alone for that long and also miss out on cousin fun. Unfortunately that turned the day into a bit of a disaster at first because by the time I realized that I missed the chance to go on the train ride with the cousins and got stuck in the unit for quite some time. I did go up to watch the train pass by, which caused people to stare at me standing in the rain waiting for the train to come, but then the cousins came back and we headed to the pool. Spent more time in the outdoor hot tub which was even stranger since it was raining.

Then after we all came back and met up again with Sasha and Karen then we went to eat at a restaurant. It was pretty cool because they had a play room for kids! They messed up my order though so my meal turned out to be a disaster. I ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. The fries came out perfect but the burger was far too pink for me to eat, so the waitress took my whole plate and when she brought it back she proudly exclaimed we gave you fresh fries. The thing is the burger was so-so and the replacement fries were burnt so i couldn't really eat them, but didn't want to send those back too.The only good thing was the discovery of the grilled avocado with a corn tomato thing on top.

Then we all headed back to the unit for the night.

Day 345/365 (June 27, 2015)

up so early to leave left at 4 am...we made it to Attitash just before noon time. We only stopped a couple times along the way, one of which was at Trader Joes and thankfully the stuff was still cold by the time we arrived there!

After a quick drop off of our stuff we went to Walmart and got some stuff then back to the unit where we met up with everybody. Then we all left my mother behind and went strawberry picking which was so cute. Both Mike's got super into it and one box was 9 pounds! Then we went grocery shopping.

It was so nice seeing Tessa, Colson, Xavier, Sam, and both Mikes. Colson also likes to pretend he is a cat with the cutest meow.

Came back and we all made a yummy dinner and made s'mores for dessert. I also experienced severe mother issues throughout the day, i just don't know how to handle/help her. I spent a good portion of the day thinking I was going to find her dead.

Day 344/365 (June 26, 2015)

What a long day, but a very awesome productive day!

I got up early and began making the cakes for Lola. It took me several hours but I made her a beautiful rainbow birthday cake and even made extra rainbow cupcakes from the extra batter. Sadly i will not be able to get a picture of the inside of the cake but I can tell the rainbow turned out well from the leveling of the cakes. I also did a great job leveling the oven because there wasn't much leveling I needed to do. I decided to frost the inside of the cake a light blue so it would be like the sky.

I am so proud of how it turned out and extremely thankful the fondant rainbow stayed upright in the cake! I also sprayed it with pearl shimmer so it would sparkle.

I also fit in packing for New Hampshire and multiple cupcake deliveries, and going to the office for a bit!

Then Sasha, Karen, and I headed out to NJ to drop off the cake. Thankfully it made it there safely and we got to see Lola for a tiny bit on her birthday and give her her present, then it was back home for a little bit of sleep.

Also my rainbow fun today was even more fun since the Supreme Court ruled Gay marriage was legal and everyone was cheering. Different things like the White House, and SF City hall, empire state building, etc... all turned themselves rainbows with lighting choices. Even the Freedom Towers spiral antenna got festive which you can sort of see in a picture.

Day 343/365 (June 25, 2015)

Went to work, then caught the Davenport softball game. They were playing On the 20th... which turns out Andy Karl is on the team... that was fun to watch. Turns out no Lola, then I headed home and got myself ready for the Big Brother Premiere!

I got myself to Hoboken with no troubles and met up with Danielle and Sasha (not my roomie). It was at the Wicked Wolf which was a cut bar on the waterfront with a great view of the city. The night was so fun. We watched house guest play beer pong, had a little dance party with rachel and brandon and Zach. Cody and Derrick were there along with Chef Joe, Elissa, and Portia. Couple others i didn't recognize and Gina Marie. We she came in she had like an entourage trying to clear the way, hilarious... I just wanted to shout Fuh Nick while posing for a picture with her. I was all over one of Rachel's persicope which was nifty. I let Zach use my phone charger. It was just lovely all around. Then i made it home by a reasonable time which was nice, thanks to some guy holding the door open for me because the Path is weird!

Also during the event they threw out little Big Brother Rubber Duckies and if you caught one you won something... well due to a flip flop and high seat situation i ended up falling as i tried to dive for one... which i got! then sadly i did nothing with it, but at least I got one!
