Day 363/365 (July 15, 2015)

I popped out the free Wahlburgers truck to get the free burger which was pretty tasty, then back to work. Then when I was done i sped over to drop something off to Shetler Studios, then raced back home. Saw Pip for a hot second before changing, gathering my things, cleaning my foot since I stepped in dog pee and heading out to Sasha's car. Then I made my way to Doylestown, PA.

I left early to allow for traffic and getting lost, only turns out I hit no traffic and didn't get lost so I got to town super early! It had not started raining yet so I was at the Park. They have this super cool castle that is the playground for children that little Tamra was super jealous of! The picture does not do it justice because it does not show how ginormous it was and how many things it had to play with and cool slides. After i got out of the car the heaven's opened up so back in I went. I did however end up getting lost trying to find the rain location. Once i found it I made a failed attempt at finding a place for a quick bite so I killed some time in the car then headed in.

There were so many tweens and little kids and they were so excited for the concert. They were going on about how they had the best seats and they hoped that they could go onstage and that they would sing One Direction. Diane and MaryAnn ended up coming as well.

The concert was so fun and cute. I won't lie I got a little teary eyed hearing Travis and Jesse sing again, and glad I was filming it. My filming game started well with my tripod but then people kept getting up to dance and slowly i was like what ever so not my best filming work. They ended up doing an encore of a One Direction song, the one that made the young kids lose their mind and that ended up being a fun filming moment because i went to the edge of the stage like a boy band concert would have that was being broadcast... some fun angles and shots of the crowd wanting to high five them. Some of the kids did get to go up on stage and Jesse betrayed me by pulling Diane up and not me claiming it was because I was filming... tripod dude! haha oh well.Mike was also lovely and the other guy Marshal did a good job. In short The Boy Band Project was a hit!

After the concert I pulled out my poster and played the role of fan girl, and we took a few pictures. It was so nice to see Jesse again and

Then home I headed, sadly got lost on the way home and had to go through an extra toll, womp womp. Then Sahsa and I watched Big Brother before I headed off to bed.

Day 346/365 (June 28, 2015)

the day started out slow and ended up confusing but lovely in the end. It was rainy so that eliminated most options. I almost want with Sasha and Karen to Maine for the day but when I realized they were planing on being gone all day and not just a few hours I didn't want to leave my mom alone for that long and also miss out on cousin fun. Unfortunately that turned the day into a bit of a disaster at first because by the time I realized that I missed the chance to go on the train ride with the cousins and got stuck in the unit for quite some time. I did go up to watch the train pass by, which caused people to stare at me standing in the rain waiting for the train to come, but then the cousins came back and we headed to the pool. Spent more time in the outdoor hot tub which was even stranger since it was raining.

Then after we all came back and met up again with Sasha and Karen then we went to eat at a restaurant. It was pretty cool because they had a play room for kids! They messed up my order though so my meal turned out to be a disaster. I ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. The fries came out perfect but the burger was far too pink for me to eat, so the waitress took my whole plate and when she brought it back she proudly exclaimed we gave you fresh fries. The thing is the burger was so-so and the replacement fries were burnt so i couldn't really eat them, but didn't want to send those back too.The only good thing was the discovery of the grilled avocado with a corn tomato thing on top.

Then we all headed back to the unit for the night.

Day 332/365 (June 14, 2015)

Woke up bright and early, before Lola came in. Then I made her chocolate chip pancakes and made myself and Sasha a pancake with a cinnamon swirl in it... yummy! After breakfast we played "pass the ball" with the friends and Lola gave them story time. I tried to actually win to help her in the learning to not be a sore loser department but i actually lost... fail! She also caught me filming her story time... oops! Then she played with some legos. We had a good sleepover with her!

Later in the evning Sasha, Karen, and I went to see Ben David in his school musical. Oh man, i saw way too much of people I didn't nee to see but he did a great job and glad we could make it out. It was at Circle in the Square and before the show started the guy who works for Circle was so cranky and yelling very angrily at people for no valid reason which was annoying. After the show was over we discovered that it was pouring rain... all 3 of us in dresses and flip flops with no umbrella. In the 4 blocks home we became drowned rats from the really cold rain.

Day 319/365 (June 1, 2015)

Got asked to film a concert just after midnight at 54 Below tonight so that is fun! I got up and plugged my camcorder in to charge.

Got up went to work. We have a box where we put papers that need to be shredded before being thrown out but haven't actually shredded anything in a while so I decided to buckle down and begin shredding. Let me tell you in the movies when people do emergency mass shredding because they are trying to cover something up it is lies! it took so long and kept getting jammed and after emptying the barrel twice it over heated and I had to stop! still have a whole bunch more to go, it is a good thing I enjoy shredding things. I should have moved the shredder back in my office sooner to prevent this. It is still all rainy out.

After I headed home and had a lip sync battle min-marathon followed by America's Slang. At some point I ended up accidentally taking a 45 minute nap that felt really good. I  woke up with two sleeping kitties near by. Helped Laura pick up the camera and also helped Sasha with some "playbill" flower prep work.

Then i got ready for the concert. It was for Chris McCarrell. I had never seen him before so I had no clue what to expect. It was a very enjoyable evening, He is bubbly and fun and put on a wonderful show. Glad I got to see it! Almost had an issue beforehand, thankfully Shoshana to the rescue! I need to see what is wrong with my camera battery! It said it was fully charged and when i went to test his memory card in my camera the battery all of a sudden said it had only ten minutes left! Thankfully she had her camera there and it had a charge and was very kind to let me use it.

After i went back home and helped Sasha some more with her flowers., then I couldn't sleep thanks to the nap so i put on Daredevil since it usually puts me to sleep but I actually got into the episode... oops!

Day 318/365 (May 31, 2015)

Woke up with a very sore body so I had a lazy morning then headed out to meet up with ina. It was so nice to see her and we caught up with each other in Bryant Park before going on a quest. We visited both Midtown Comics and Jim Hanley's Universe and various Game Stops in pursuit of a TMNT Raphael figurine. It began to rain like crazy... aka monsoon! Luckily we avoided some of the worse boughts of it. Then i went to the evil cookie place and got myself and Karen some cookies.

Headed home and freshened up a bit then Sasha and I headed out to Karen's Aunt Mary's wake. We didn't get lost, so proud!

Then we headed home and I finally ate dinner.

Here is Fred trying to sleep around Sasha's clutter.

Day 240/365 (March 14, 2015)

Up early and then walked up to my Jenny appointment in the rain, and hit up Trader Joe's. Then headed home to put stuff away. I made the frosting/filling for the Irish Cream whoopie pies in the hope that it helped them taste good. The frosting tasted amazing... sadly it didn't help them. Eventually I got dressed for David and Karolina's St. Patrick's Day Party and got to see Lola for a tiny bit.

Headed off to their party and it was nice seeing them and James and everyone else. I am a rocking carrot and potato peeler. I overate oops!

Then Nicole and I headed out, it was nice to have company on the walk/subway ride back. Nicole went to work and I went home to change into normal clothes. When I got home Charlie toppled me and I discovered that Sasha hadn't taken the hat off of Fred before e left and it got wrapped around his body. She had been gone for over two hours the poor thing could have chocked to death! I put on the new dress/sweater i got a few days ago and I felt so cute and springy even if outside didn't feel springy.

I headed to 54 Below to see Sam Underwood in concert. I ended up sitting 3 seats away from Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedwick... pretty cool! He is really quite talented. He can sing very well and tap dance like crazy. He was also pretty funny. He sang a song with Valeire from "The Following: The Musical" that was hilarious! The show was quite enjoyable. After I got to meet him Katherine and I headed across the street to Characters. Eventually all the people filtered over. Got to chat with him for a bit and I even chatted with some random guy. I was practicing talking to a straight boy because there are so few of those in my life.

Stayed there so late and it was so good to be in the company of friends who actually seem to like me right now. I really didn't want to leave when I did but i was getting very sleepy.

Day 191/365 (January 24, 2015)

In the morning I went with Sasha to Dry Bar to get our hair down. It was so fancy there and they did a great job but it was raining when we left and my hair sucks so it was destroyed before we left for the Christening. I also popped to visit my one stop shop for all my catholic needs: ST. Patrick's Cathedral Store. Then we headed out to drop off the cake to the hall and off to the church where we made it there well before the star and his parents did. The Christening was lovely, then we headed to where the reception was. Things started off pretty tense there because it was well into the afternoon and everyone was hungry but the food was not being served. People were eating the few chips and pretzels on the table. Sasha and I made the mistake of asking Karen when the food was going to be served and she was like 5 and we protested (it started at 3:30) and she lost it so we were all in foul moods. When I finally started mingling with people they started asking me about when the food was being served and every time i tol them 5 they would say I nominate you to speak with them about doing it now. SO it was everyone that wanted food. I am sorry but you don't have an even that starts at 3:30 then serve food 90 minutes later, especially when the reason for the event required everyone to a church at 2. People expect food within 30 minutes of an event starting. Luckily I think enough people complained and we got to eat at 4:45 and everyone became much more cheerful. Baby James is adorable and so well behaved. Everyone loved the cake. I am just sad that by photo time the cake had been destroyed slightly by the little monsters of someone else in attendance. Eventually when it came time to cut the cake it was like a massacre.I couldn't cut it fast enough and there was no cake left at all!

Later after we got back I went to Dylan's birthday at Characters.
