Day 333/365 (June 15, 2015)
Spent so much time at work and I felt very productive and like I didn't get much done. I also got a call while there that the Sara Chase concert was canceled on Friday... saddened by that!
I was also asked to make something for a Broadway Bares bake sale so I am excited by the idea I have in my head, hope I can pull it off! After work I went to the cake store to look for ideas/inspiration which I found, then I went to training. Ended up only doing 30 minutes because of a scheduling snafu and I am very flexible. I used that to run to Trader Joes since I needed a few things. So my favorite employee and we chatted theater of course. Then I headed home. It was actually really nice out I almost walked home but I had too much stuff from TJ to do that so I took the subway.
While at home i made a card for somebody and made the dough for the sugar cookies I have to make tomorrow. It seemed too loose but it had been a while since i made them and the apartment was a bit hot so i didn't want to add more flour in case it was okay after chilling. I checked the dough after i went to bed.. not okay! Tomorrow i am either going to have to hope adding more flour makes it okay or make a new batch of sugar cookie dough. I hope i don't have to do that because my egg count is limited AND sugar cookies take a whole lot of flour! Potential sugar cookie fail, I don't have time for you!

Day 283/365 (April 26, 2015)
Day began by attempting a run with Sasha. I was not as successful. Then I made an omelette that was super yummy!
Lola came over and we went to playing right away. She brought spring window clings that we played with on the mirrors. When it was my turn she said that my art show was "not what I was expecting, the flowers should be on the ground but was nice" and then she played with the window markers. She told me that everyone is an artist "all you need is a brush, paint, and imagination" then she cleaned it up. Since Karen was not there she had me play the role of myself and of Karen. SO i would have to pretend to be angry with her for cleaning it up then pretend to be Karen telling me it was okay, and back and forth like that... she was cracking up! She also asked if I missed her and then told me she missed me very much! She made a matching glove to replace her missing one for dress up.
Then it was story time/dress up. We took another girls vs. boys vote (this time the boy was on fire) and then she read me 3 stories. Then it was time for a tea party with the friends and she was very said when Ellyn came to take her home.
After Lola left I made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and ate way too many of the giant ones! Then I made a card that was next to normal themed I was quite proud of, and Also throughout the day i did so very much laundry! I changed my bed sheets and my room looks neater than it has in a long while!
Sasha and I also had a lovely conversation with our neighbor Chris.
Charlie was sleeping in my underwear drawer and Lola really wanted the batgirl cape... glad I could find it! Fred is a cutie.

Day 222/365 (February 24, 2015)
It was a long day at work, but got lots done! I also spent the day on baby watch... Ania went into labor... still waiting!
Then I came home and didn't do too much except watch TV, hang with the kitties, and make a birthday card for someone. I was pretty proud of how it turned out!
I love waking up to Fred and Charlie cuddled with me, and Charlie was being extra cute.
Also during the day I got two random texts that just made me super happy! The first was from Travis telling me that after I had left training last night one of the other trainers told him they could see how much stronger I have gotten. The place I go is very small and the clients are usually different but there is usually the same group of other trainers there so it is nice to get some outside validation!
The other text I got was from MKC saying that Clark had noticed and pointed out pictures of me on FB so he just wanted to tell me he thought I looked awesome an was really happy for me. Considering I just got back to a place of feeling good about myself again I have been a little shaky and to see something like that is something that helps keep me focused to remember why I started to make these life changes. I like to feel good about myself, an feel good internally/health wise. I really hate feeling crappy and sludgy and I love food I really do but certain foods are not worth the yucky feeling they give on the inside. But back to the point it was nice to hear that from him and then catch up a bit.

Day 201/365 (February 3, 2015)
I ended up staying home sick because I still wasn't feeling well. Had wonton soup delivered to the apartment twice. I made cards and was so bored. I don't handle doing nothing well. The delivery guy was the same both times and was probably like really? I also ate a whole box of saltines and drank gingerale. Charlie also likes to put himself to seep by kneading.

Day 31/365 (August 17, 2014)
had some breakfast with the cousins, then headed back into the city. I had a bunch of things to do before the weekend ended!
I was able to complete all the items on my to do list (including a massive amount of laundry), and go to a reading. There was this play called Sister Husbands and I went to it because Christopher Hanke and Corey Mach were in it. No idea what to expect but it had some humorous moments in it and it was wonderful to see them in that type of setting. The room however was extremely hot! It was funny because there was a moment in the play where the characters are talking about it being hot and asking if the AC was on. One of them like it is on, and Hanke's character's response was something like no it is not on it is really hot in here, but while he was saying that he was saying it very loudly and gesturing wildly as he fanned himself and everyone in the room was basically dying because it was hilarious and we were all feeling it. Had a nice quick chat with Corey after. I hadn't seen him in age since he was away on tour but it was nice to see him, i forgot how blue his eyes were though... so so blue like Matt Bomer blue.
Then it was back home to work on more to do list stuff. I made a cake in preparation for a coworkers goodbye party but it did not turn out well, and did some coconut toasting for cupcakes I am making for someone Monday night. Made some birthday cards and put away the laundry that was dry. Charlie likes to try making the laundry i don't like putting in the dryer his personal toys/bed... always a challenge! Fred also kept trying to tip-toe on the cards i had made which all had glitter trying to dry, thankfully none of them smudged

Day 5/365 (July 22, 2014)
Today was filled with the usual House watching and work... but then after work I ran into Penski on my way home and had a lovely chat for quite sometime. Then Sasha and I headed to Michael's for a card crafting demonstration which was a failure. The person didn't really know what she was demonstrating. Then we came home and I baked some blueberry muffins... yum!
I also used the new die-cutter/embosser tool that Karen won from Michael's grand opening to make a really cool card!
