Day 283/365 (April 26, 2015)

Day began by attempting a run with Sasha. I was not as successful. Then I made an omelette that was super yummy!

Lola came over and we went to playing right away. She brought spring window clings that we played with on the mirrors. When it was my turn she said that my art show was "not what I was expecting, the flowers should be on the ground but was nice" and then she played with the window markers. She told me that everyone is an artist "all you need is a brush, paint, and imagination" then she cleaned it up. Since Karen was not there she had me play the role of myself and of Karen. SO i would have to pretend to be angry with her for cleaning it up then pretend to be Karen telling me it was okay, and back and forth like that... she was cracking up! She also asked if I missed her and then told me she missed me very much! She made a matching glove to replace her missing one for dress up.

Then it was story time/dress up. We took another girls vs. boys vote (this time the boy was on fire) and then she read me 3 stories. Then it was time for a tea party with the friends and she was very said when Ellyn came to take her home.

After Lola left I made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and ate way too many of the giant ones! Then I made a card that was next to normal themed I was quite proud of, and Also throughout the day i did so very much laundry! I changed my bed sheets and my room looks neater than it has in a long while!

Sasha and I also had a lovely conversation with our neighbor Chris.

Charlie was sleeping in my underwear drawer and Lola really wanted the batgirl cape... glad I could find it! Fred is a cutie.

Day 11/365 (July 28, 2014)

It was a long day! I got up early to pick Lindz up from JFK. Driving to the airport at the hour wasn't the smartest but it was fun. I did end up driving for 3.5 hours before getting to work and only having gone like 34 miles. Then i went to work where I ended up staying far too late and thankfully Travis was able to push back our session since I would have missed it otherwise.

Training was good except I felt so out of shape and didn't function at my usual capacity. AFterwards I came home and baked some cinderella themed M&M cookies, showered, and then headed out to meet CHris. He was in town to see Heathers and then we just walked around midtown for a while. As were were walking this drunk couple came up to us and asked us if we were dating. We said no, and the guy was like but you look so good together you should be dating. He then asked if he could take a picture of us with my phone and we were like no, then he was like could you take a picture of us with your phone. We did then ditched them... so see the crazy people above from somewhere I think may have been the corner of 47th and 9th.

Day 356/365 (August 9, 2009)

so today i woke up and headed with Pip to wicked lotto to help chris and friends out. Luckily one of his friends won and then i took Pip back home to sasha's. he was so happy to be back and once we got around the wicked area he knew where we were and basically ran the whole way home. i then spent a lot of the day there chatting and catching up and beginning the renaming of my picture folders before i back them up. i started with may of last year and have to go through july of this year... a MAJOR undertaking to say the least. i am not renaming every picture but instead each day folder will get certain key words so when i want a picture i can search the word and find it easier. Pip still stayed cuddled with me a great portion of the day and at one point sasha made marty and i some extremely yummy turkey!

i also left with krysta at one point to get an 8 cent cupcake on 72nd st. it was ok but not fabulous! but it was exciting because when we got there there was an extremely long line and we were like oh well but we found out the line was for people who had just found out about the deal and were waiting for the text to get sent to them... since we already had the text we got to go straight in and not wait in line to get our cupcake... i paid with a dime and let them keep the change LOL!

anywho finally the time came and i headed home and i of course watched big brother and laughed so hard when jeremy piven made a guest appearance. everyone was so excited and i just kept thinking mercury poisoning and that if i were a contestant i would have said mercury poisoning? then sat down. i also thought it was so cute because one of the people was like i just met jeremy piven and he is a celebrity and i can say i met him... and i thought back to the days when i cared about that and how excited i would have been (joey fatone the first time i saw him in rent anyone, especially carol?) but now these days i just dont care. i mean clay aiken is someone i used to be batty about and he almost bumped into me when leaving billy elliot and i saw him an i was like o clay aiken just passed me what were you saying?

anywho i also got celery and carrot sticks ready to keep my tummy satisfied while waiting in line for the opening of the box office for bye bye birdie. i am pretty excited to see the show and you cant go wrong with $10 tickets, thanks bank of america for the help!
emma also kept going on my lap because she missed me so, it was cute but really annoying because it was hard to type.

the countdown has begun!!!! this is DAY 10

Day 339/365 (July 23, 2009)

broadway in bryant park... i was going to get there really early with chris to save seats but i found out the night before that next to normal and wicked had switched places... i was supremely ticked off because the line-up was AMAZING and then stupid wicked came in and ruined it... why does wicked plague my existence?

anyway i finally got there and had a lovely time with everyone (like 16 of us) and chris was the list checkeroffer when people arrived... pretty funny! the show was decent. vanities i have no interest in and it was a shame that annaleise is a jaded former disney star and seemed to be bothered to be there. rock of ages was amazing and the understudy for drew was hot! (and talented to boot)

mary poppins was delightful but chooisng to sing practically perfect was a poor choice since it is a downer of a song... they did end with super...docious! (not attempting to spell) which i love that song. then wicked closed it out... grrrr! i took a ton of pictures during the sound check and recorded during the actual performance with karolina's camera however i didnt check to see if i had my adapter so i couldnt use my tripod... and well the videos i took were really shaky :(

i went home and ended up napping at one point and then uploading the pictures... only i stupidly didnt transfer the pictures to my computer before toying with them and make a big mistake and deleted more than 100 of the pictures i had taken, the ones i most cared about (rock of ages)... i was so pissed with myself!

then i went and helped chris with wicked lotto, and went to visit Sasha and Marty again... we hung, we remade Sasha's bedroom with her new set, and watched big brother, fun times!

Then i met with joey and we went to karaoke at NWS. it was quite the night and i had a new song downloaded... too bad the system was being extra slow and the words never actually appeared until about half way through the song... good thing i kinda new them, but boy was it repetitive when you dont know when the song will end (we like to party by the venga boys) someone i did not know helped sing it with me and drew danced with his poms up on stage... fun times.

when it finished i went home and had looked up ways to recover pictures deleted from a memory card, so i downloaded them before falling asleep.

Day 332/365 (July 16, 2009)

this is my clock, it puts time on the ceiling... the only way to see what time it is at night! In fact i am so used to loking up sometimes when people ask me what time it is my first instinct is to look at the ceiling, no matter where i am.

i got up and headed out to Broadway in Bryant Park... today The Little Mermaid, 9 to 5, Toxic Avenger, and Pure COuntry were performing. IT was a sunny day but i was armed with a bottle of water and a thing of sunscreen. I am so fearful of the sun and burning so i put more on like every thirty minutes and kept asking if my face was turning red! I was excited when i got there and saw Chris saving a bunch of seats so i joined him and he was very good company to have. the morning was lots of fun but really? OK so 9 to 5 was exciting but they only sang two songs (beautifully done) but why didn't they sing 9 to 5? I also think it is awesome allison janey came and did the park since some people are too diva to do it, however i wish her understudy had because i would love to hear the songs sung by three outstading vocalists.... i do love her acting dont get me wrong, but she just cant sing. pure country is supposedly coming to broadway in the spring, i dont like country so it wont be a show i will see (unless casting dictates otherwise) but the guy who performed had an incredible voice and was cute to boot! the girl had to read from the sheet music but sounded great.

Toxic Avenger, this was my first exposure to it and it seemed like it must be the fun musical everyone says it is but two of the songs sounded the same and some of the same lyrics so i was like huh? but the guy who co-wrote it and is part of Bon Jovi was there to introduce them, then joined in the last song towards the end and i was like oh i wish dawn were here. the other show that performed was the little mermaid... once again this year brian d'dario (spelling is wrong there) stole the show, there is no question in my mind that he has a bright career ahead of him i mean how many others are that professional and killer at such a young age? Let's talk Drew Seeley. i was excited to see him perform because um hello CUTIE! and he does have a nice voice... in the end he did sound amazing but i was so dissapointed because he sang the new popified version of her voice. yes it is a fun song, but in the musical Her Voice is one of the most beautiful songs and if that is what i was going to hear i would have wanted to hear the musical version not the pop version... and this is broadway in bryant park after all, not pop concert in bryant park! i understand reasoning behind it... i am sure disney spent a ton of money producing that one song so why not use it, but STILL!!!!

after it was over chris and i took a walk to the times square visitor center because he wanted to pick up a few of the show fliers and stuff and i was able to look in a mirror there and be reassured that i had not gotten sun burnt!

then i headed home and got some lunch, where i cut my gums on a peach pit, and there was blood and it hurt! it was a tame sort of day at this point, though i did a bunch of dishes. WHen krysta came home she cooked us a truly scrumptious dinner and we had a yummy dessert of brownies and ice cream. Eventually i got ready and headed out to TOL for some karaoke.

the nights was lots of fun and it was very exciting to have had some many friends there at one point or another. Kim, Susie, and Jo were there when i arrived and shortly thereafter Joey turned up. Before the night ended Andrew had even popped in! (and a few others). The night was filled with lots of karaoke from me... best part is i made it through the night without singing any britney spears even if there were protests about that. it was just a fun and lovely night :D Kim and i walked to the subway together and then i went home and fell asleep!

Day 312/365 (June 26, 2009)

i decorated the cupcakes i baked with sunshine and equality! anywho i dont remember what i did besides that during the day, but then i headed out and began craziness amidst random rain.

i helped chris with wicked lotto (we lost) then i traveled to three different pinkberrys to sample the free new flavors! then i needed real food so i got subway.

then i went to sasha and marty's and watched some pirates of the caribbean 2 and hung out until going to mostly sondheim. it was fun as always especially with marty and sasha there... marty sang willingly and then bribed sasha to sing. my cupcakes were a hit and some guy bought my table a round of drinks he was so grateful... lol! then home i went.

i dont know if this was the day or not (but i suspect it was) i went on a crazy cleaning spree of the floors, the bathroom, and my room... and did a bunch of dishes!

Day 267/365 (May 12. 2009)

I woke up and the biggest accomplishment was cleaning out my email inbox which means my stress level went down quite a bit! Eventually i made my way to the Barnes and Noble in Lincoln Center to see the cast of next to normal perform before their CD signing. even though it was on 66 i just walked to and from the 72nd St subway because i could and i was so nice out!

I got there and chatted with Jo Ann and Mike and some other girl for a bit, then found Chris and his friends in line. eventually they let us in and we got great seats in the front on the side. They sang three songs and made me kinda want to see it on the sooner side, but since i am almost pretty sure i am going to be all about n2n soon i might hold off. i took a bazillion pictures, especially of Aaron since he sang in all 3 songs and well i had sasha's awesome camera so i was using this as a play around with the features opportunity.... yea i think i took almost 120 over the course of those 3 songs, oops!

then i left since i wasnt getting a cd signed and did some more walking and a little grocery shopping, then i came back into the aprtment and put it all away. tonight was a roommates night in and krysta made a yummy dinner for us and we chatted and watched some tv, much needed! eventually i worked on updating this, and major facebook picture uploadage, and then we also had some vanilla ice cream with samoas in it for dessert.

One of the shows i ended up watching is The Phone, now i think it is interesting, not only does it have "suspense" in it but my favorite part is the end of the show when it is a test to human character. After the teams finishes the task they are told only one of them can get the money based on a quiz. After the person who won the quiz gets the money they have to not only decide if they will keep the money or split it, but they have to tell their teammate too. of the 3 episodes i have seen two people have split it, and 1 has not. I mean you just went through a day of all hek and you did each challenge with a teammate and probably wouldnt have been successful without their help so it is pretty selfish to not share it. i think the show would have been better if the person who won the money decided not to split it they would lose it and all the money would go to the other teammate. but yea so that is my thought.

i also did a bunch of dishes, and did some cleaning in the kitchen/livingroom... and on my way back home i found a box of newborn kittens... 5 of them and they looked like they were only a few hours old, and probably had been born within the last 12 hours of my finding them. their faces were so tiny and they were huddled together, mom wasnt too far away, but mom was a street cat so i suspect the kittens probably wont survive (or maybe already gone) but i have no way of knowing what happened to them since i dont talk to the barber shop guys who kind of look after the neighbor hood strays, and since i dont want to know anything bad, i will choose to live in ignorat bliss and believe they are on the way to becoming healthy kittens that want to play and will be adopted by people.

Day 141/365 (January 6, 2009)

Wow! So i really do like spamalot, but did not realize (despite having seen it 6 times) that i actually loved it until i saw it with Chris. It closes this sunday and i was seeing it for the final time. This is a funny show and yet at times i almost got a little teary-eyed watching it and thinking i won't be seeing this again. I might get standing room to the final show, but i need to give myself a day or so to see if i still feel that way, or if i was just on a temporary emotional high. This sign breaks my heart more than a little.

I can't believe Chris had never seen it before, and i also had quite an enjoyable time with him before and after the show.
