Day 211/365 (February 13, 2015)

When I got home from work I began making red velvet cupcakes for a few different reasons. I tried a new recipe that was pretty good but much more complicated than the one I usually use and not really any better. I decorated them very simply except for the ones I was sending to Carly. I dyed the frosting black and sprinkled red disco dust on them so they would be Chicago colored. I delivered them to her and it was beyond freezing. It hurt to breathe it was so cold! I also delivered some to our new neighbor to welcome her to the building, She seems very nice so that is great!

I also won Jordan Roth's Twitter contest for 2 tickets to any Jujamcyn show on Valentine's day... many would think me foolish for not choosing a free ticket to The Book of Mormon but I haven't seen Jersey Boys and that is what I really wanted to see.

It is also so cold the kitties have been wrapping themselves up in blankets... look at Fred :)

Day 171/365 (January 4, 2015)

I got basically 3 hours of sleep before getting up to rush Pippin closing. I got there at 5:40 am and I was 4th in line! It was so cold and I fell asleep. When I woke up i realized it had been raining on me for a while. I ended up freezing by the end, Jo Ann came to visit and I ran into some people I met previous times rushing (otter, jenna, and aaron) which was nice to have people to chat with. I somehow got very lucky and got the only font row rush seat they had! Then I went home to nap/freshen up and went back to see Pippin Closing. I ended up with that sparkly producer guy and he was in full on sparkle. The show was great lots of extra cheers and i took video of curtain call (with reckless abandon) because why not. I especially loved when Mike S. saw and played to the camera.  Charlotte held my face during the end when she was saying I was extraordinary and beautiful and gave it a little squeeze, they made speeches. I cried a little during the beginning and the end. It was especially sad seeing the actor playing Theo cry and Nicholas Jelmoni. Waited at SD as long as I could and took a couple pictures then I ran home, stuffed my face and ran to the subway with all my stiff and just barely made it on the train out to New Rochelle to pick up Dennis, Clare, and Penny. Carly and Adam were very sweet.

Penny was very happy to see me, then we went back to their house and settled in!

Day 170/365 (January 3, 2015)

Got up early to go to training... only to discover Travis forgot and was in Florida so no training for me, but I did go to the gym and hit my step goal for the day by 11:16 am! Then I came home and grabbed stuff for a few errands. Dropped a care package off to Ellyn and went to the Music Box to deliver the cupcake to the stage door guy, who wasn't there so I gave it to the girl and had an awkward run in with Carly... I really hate running into people when making deliveries. Then I came back and had lunch before going back to the theatre to meet with Adam to give him the big delivery of cupcakes and cookies. We chatted in the area just inside the door for a while then I headed back home for a bit.

Way later it was time for Ellyn's show at 54 Below. It started so late but was hilarious! Jake Odmark played the role of Lola to perfection, Ellyn did a hilarious version of her character Gemma Louise's inner monologue. She rapped and people laughed when they saw the pictures during The Last 5 Years song. We said good bye to Dawn, I packed my rush bag and Jo Ann came to stay with us since the show was so late.

Fred and Charlie were cuddling all cute like and I finally read the card Zina sent me on New Year's Day.
