Day 280/365 (April 23, 2015)

Got up and took care of the boys' litter boxes and all the garbage, then showered, and headed to work.

Then I headed out to New Rochelle for Dennis' birthday. It was nice to visit with them and get a little Penny love. Penny and I went for a walk/run and by the end of the night I was in an emotional wreck for reasons unbeknownst to me. Got home and watched Scandal with Sasha... glad Jake survived!

I didn't make the cake,  but am trained to take pictures of them!

Day 261/365 (April 4, 2015)

Got up super early and made the stabilized whip cream for the banana pudding cheesecake. Then I decorated it... I was going to go exercise but couldn't leave apartment because I had to wait for the exterminator to come. After he left I showered and headed out to New Rochelle. It was difficult carrying both the cake and cheesecake but I was a rock star and managed... even put money on my metro card while balancing them both! Luckily some guy helped me hold the cake while I was getting my train ticket so that was one last struggle.

Got out to New Rochelle and went to trader joe's then back to Paula's and had a bunch of her leftover pizza. Penny was happy to see me. Eventually we headed off to NJ for Easter (a day early). It was at Ming and John's house, cannot believe how big their Michael has gotten. It was nice spending time with everyone and I stuffed my face with food and especially dessert... I did a good job!

Then Paula and Ted dropped me off in the city and I went home and vegged for a bit before heading out to help someone with something and just missed my step goal for the day by 81 steps.

Day 215/365 (February 17, 2015)

I spent the majority of the day in New Rochelle with the cousins. I worked remotely and Penny was not pleased. She spent a great deal of time glaring at me like "get that computer off your lap and cuddle/pet me" It also snowed for a bit. Dennis made us pancakes which I ate too many of, then I finally went to Trader Joe's and made my way back into the city. As I was driving and listening to a song sung by KDM I got some sad news about the ABz reunion concert and was crushed. When I got home I turned to cookie butter. Charlie passed out in front of the space heater.

Eventually I got ready and headed out to 54 Below to see Kate Rockwell do her solo show. I loved it so much. She is so talented and pretty funny too! I think my favorite moment was when she ended up playing "diva tag" sort of with the song "And I'm Telling You" from Dreamgirls. Justin Matthew Sargent  joined her and they kept trading off (though rehearsed" and he has an insane voice so it was fierce! I also really loved a medley she had that ranged from les miz to phantom to cats. It was also nice running into some people I haven't seen in a while that were in BIO so that was fun! (Sheldon, Nikki, and Taylor).

I also met Vanessa Ray (Blue Bloods) who was there to support Kate and she was so super nice. I know she has been on Broadway but I never saw her on anything but I do love me some Blue Bloods). I tool a picture and chatted with her a bit... really just super sweet!

Day 214/365 (February 16, 2015)

I spent the morning on a crepe bender... i ate so many wonderful ones! My favorite was the fluffernutter. I also went to the Laurie Beechman Theatre for the first time in forever to se Broadway Sings for Canines for Kids. It was a cute event and I went because Ravi was in it... he was wonderful and Emily McNamara hosted it... It was nice/weird seeing her at a regular hour! Matthew James Thomas was also there with his adorable dog. He and this girl sang Love Song from Pippin and all I Could think was "you are not KDM" and I have heard 3 others sing it besides him and I didn't have an issue so interesting, Then I headed out to New Rochelle to stay with the cousins for the night because there was a need last minute. I got there and Clare was watching Castle. Then Winnie and Dennis joined... it was funny listening to their remarks like "don't do that you're going to get in trouble and hinder the investigation!" Penny was also super happy to see me and kept putting her paws on my shoulder to stare into my eyes.

Day 175/365 (January 8, 2015)

Got the kids off to school and did some work/Penny stuff. I also prepped the mac and cheese for dinner later. I did my usual white cheddar and monterey jack, but also added some fresh grated parmesan cheese! I also put some panic bread crumbs on top at CLare's request. Dennis came home usual time, but then I ended up waiting for Clare forever at school. Eventually I went to pick up Winnie, Paula, and Ted. They came home and were very happy to have the chocolate chip cookies and dinner. Let me tell you this turned out to be the best mac and cheese i have ever made. I ate two servings of it and Clare paced the leftovers for lunch the next day. I was sad though because Penny didn't sleep with me.

Day 174/365 (January 7, 2015)

Dennis made his own pancakes, got the kids off to school, and then did work and Penny stuff. Also went to Target and made chicken cutlets for dinner that were Dennis approved! Made chocolate chip cookies for them to have when they get home tomorrow. I also found Paula's missing diamond earring. There was also a bird chilling in target. You can see him on the aisle sign above.

Day 173/365 (January 6, 2015)

Another Clare to school very early day. Penny helped me wrk, made dinner for them, Dennis had basketball practice (fun school bulletin board made with all student handprints) and other usual day stuff.

Day 172/365 (January 5, 2015)

Got up so early to get Clare off to school, then Dennis. I had some quality Penny time and went grocery shopping to get supplies for the week. Then I did after school pickup (Dennis was like you must have been here early you got a great spot!) I also baked cookies during the day to mail to KDM since I was hired to. I made everyone dinner and also went to the post office. Paula and Ted FaceTimed us and said I had it all under control... Clare asked me to help her with an essay and Sasha ended up helping us both to save Clare's grade!

Day 171/365 (January 4, 2015)

I got basically 3 hours of sleep before getting up to rush Pippin closing. I got there at 5:40 am and I was 4th in line! It was so cold and I fell asleep. When I woke up i realized it had been raining on me for a while. I ended up freezing by the end, Jo Ann came to visit and I ran into some people I met previous times rushing (otter, jenna, and aaron) which was nice to have people to chat with. I somehow got very lucky and got the only font row rush seat they had! Then I went home to nap/freshen up and went back to see Pippin Closing. I ended up with that sparkly producer guy and he was in full on sparkle. The show was great lots of extra cheers and i took video of curtain call (with reckless abandon) because why not. I especially loved when Mike S. saw and played to the camera.  Charlotte held my face during the end when she was saying I was extraordinary and beautiful and gave it a little squeeze, they made speeches. I cried a little during the beginning and the end. It was especially sad seeing the actor playing Theo cry and Nicholas Jelmoni. Waited at SD as long as I could and took a couple pictures then I ran home, stuffed my face and ran to the subway with all my stiff and just barely made it on the train out to New Rochelle to pick up Dennis, Clare, and Penny. Carly and Adam were very sweet.

Penny was very happy to see me, then we went back to their house and settled in!
