Day 192/365 (January 25, 2015)

Charlie tried to help me craft and eat my carrot bag, I tweeted Barret Foa, Hanke, and Michael Urie about a Barbra Streisand tweet of her doll shop and Fifi. Michael found her and I had intense twitter activity the next couple of days.

Later I went to Broadway Sings Pink and luckily I found some of my friends there and was not alone since the whole reason I was going was because Karen wanted to as well but she ditched me for a boy because she forgot about it... I won't lie my feelings were hurt and I was pretty cranky about it. The show was great though and Mr. Cookie told me I looked amazing. It was so great to see him perform again I almost teared up... oops!

Day 154/365 (December 18, 2014)

I went to work and then on my way to run errands I got a message from Sasha our ceiling was leaking again... grr! She had to leave for work so I had to head home and stay there while they tried to fix it... will it ever end? Fred and Charlie tried to pick up my spirits by being cute. I did some hardcore crafting and eventually went out to meet up with Michael G. for drinks to catch up and give him his DVD/videos.

Day 38/365 (August 24, 2014)

I was woken up on Sunday by a phone call from my mom,. Normally this would upset me greatly, but it was to tell me that my cousin Samantha had gone into labor! Quite a bit early, but not dangerously early... so I spent a good part of the next few hours on baby watch!

I also ended up watching Lola for a few hours. We did some coloring and crafting and she helped me make snickerdoodles which I ate far too many of! Lola set Fred up with the "Santa mouse" so he could have something to cuddle with while napping. I tried moving Fred off the table so she could have more room but he just hopped right back up, and Lola didn't mind at al since she loves him so much. I also did three loads of laundry during the day and made my bed... it is so nice to get into a freshly made bed!

My newest cousin Xavier Michael was born and he is adorable, so I am now figuring out how I will get to MA this weekend to meet him. I learned with the last coupe of babies how it breaks my heart to not see them as soon as they are born, so I am not going to make that mistake this time.

Then i met up for drink with so friends at Bourbon. It was nice chatting in a low key environment and I drank way too much water! After I got home I watched the Veronica Mars movie on HBO Go before going to sleep. It was a really good movie, glad I finally watched it!

Day 3/365 (July 20, 2014)

Today was a pretty big day... Michael's opened a store in Chelsea. So close! They had a whole big grand opening and Sasha, Karen, and I got there an hour beforehand. We were 10-12 in line and they gave us each a $10 gift card as we entered! They took the first person in line and let her cute the ribbon, and had these guys dressed up as crayons, and yarn, and a painter's palette and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

We shopped like crazy and got some really fun arts and crafts things they had as door busters. Then when we all got home our living room was overcome by our crafty supplies while we organized and sorted. I made a card for someone and later in the day baked some banana bread and cut up a gigantic watermelon.

I also started watching House on Netflix a while ago. At first i was rewatching the show because i watched it when it first aired but only until season 6 and I lost interest. I am now a third of the way through season 8 so its been nice to see "new" episodes. I don't like the direction of the show as much in this last season but am invested in seeing how it all plays out and getting some closure. The character of Dr. House (not this season) is I think a favorite of mine, i love his snark and determination.
