Day 66/365 (September 21, 2014)
Oh Boy oh boy! today was non other than "Broadway Christmas" aka the BC/EFA Flea Market which also serves as a reunion day where you run into so many people you know and love (or ones you try to avoid).
It started out early so I could peruse the tables and give them a once over. The thing I wanted the most was from the Pippin table. It was one of the Charlemagne pictures that pippin throws knives at signed by KDM and John Dosset. It started off way too highly priced but by the end of the day it came down to just the right amount and I got it!. I also got a picture with Barnum (dog in Pippin) wearing his circus collar. That dog is far too cute! I also won tickets to On The Town from the TDF Pik a Tik! I have never won tickets from there before, and got a Rent flyer with Joey Fatone on it and the Rent Bible (aka hardcover book). I spent the majority of the day stalking the Pippin table waiting for the price to drop otherwise I just popped in and out of the market throughout the day but here are some of my memorable moments:
-Ran into Caleb D. at the Cabaret table... it is always nice to see his smiling face!
-Ran into Todd Buonopane at the Cinderella table, since I missed seeing him Thursday after the show it was especially nice to chat with him
-Running into BC/EFA Frank a few times, and him showing me his The Little Mermaid pelican head purchase
-Ran into Haven Burton as she was leaving the autograph table. It was nice to catch up with her since it has been ages and also nice hearing her say how great I looked
-Ran into Neil while he was trying to sell raffle tickets to win tickets to Cinderella while he was decked head to tow in Buffalo Bills clothing (you know typical for this crowd lol)
-James Snyder was at the IF/THEN table for a bit and when he saw me he winked... my heart may have melted a touch
-I was standing by the Mamma Mia area and one of the cast members ran out to the table for a few moments in costume during the show and had to be corralled back in (blurry photo above)
-i tried to cross Shubert Alley as the it turns out the next way of celebrity autograph table people were taking their post and the crowd was parted waiting for them to walk by as if they were waiting for some major celebrity like The Beatles or something
-Just fun with some of my favorite people
By the end of the night I was exhausted beyond belief but it was all worth it and I even did two loads of laundry and cleaned up my room!
I would say the only negative part of the day was concerning Mark. It is a real shame when someone you were close to reacts to seeing you like they couldn't be bothered and wants to get away from you as soon as possible for no reason at all. Whatever I won't let someone else's problem affect my happiness.

Day 38/365 (August 24, 2014)
I was woken up on Sunday by a phone call from my mom,. Normally this would upset me greatly, but it was to tell me that my cousin Samantha had gone into labor! Quite a bit early, but not dangerously early... so I spent a good part of the next few hours on baby watch!
I also ended up watching Lola for a few hours. We did some coloring and crafting and she helped me make snickerdoodles which I ate far too many of! Lola set Fred up with the "Santa mouse" so he could have something to cuddle with while napping. I tried moving Fred off the table so she could have more room but he just hopped right back up, and Lola didn't mind at al since she loves him so much. I also did three loads of laundry during the day and made my bed... it is so nice to get into a freshly made bed!
My newest cousin Xavier Michael was born and he is adorable, so I am now figuring out how I will get to MA this weekend to meet him. I learned with the last coupe of babies how it breaks my heart to not see them as soon as they are born, so I am not going to make that mistake this time.
Then i met up for drink with so friends at Bourbon. It was nice chatting in a low key environment and I drank way too much water! After I got home I watched the Veronica Mars movie on HBO Go before going to sleep. It was a really good movie, glad I finally watched it!

Day 360/365 (August 13, 2009)
i barely had gotten any sleep when i had to wake up to get ready to go to bryant park to save seats for a bunch of people. when i got out of bed i stepped in a big puddle of tucker pee!!!! the weather was pretty fab and slightly chilly actually! (except the impending threat of rain). anywho i got there and was ticked to find suze already there i mean i got there at 7:30 in the morning what time did she get there and she had taken the spot i like to sit in but we still had really fabulous seats (just as great as hers) and i learned how much i really and truly despise that beyond evil and wretched woman! the lawn was sort of swampy because it had rained slightly and because of it i ended up slipping on the library escape hatch at some point well that evil wench couldnt even be bothered to ask if i was alright and even though i know she isnt nice i asked if there was anything on the back of my pants because i had fallen and she didnt even flinch just flat out ignored me. i thought that was the most upsetting thing of the day little had i known. anywho eventually chris and lon showed up to help save seats and keep company. i went and picked up sasha's camera and awaited everyone to show up i was saving seats for. it was nice having lynette, nicholas, mark, his nephew zachary, diane, annemarie, and jean there. it was like a mini altarholic reunion! anywho when diane had arrived she too had slipped and fell but here is the thing before i realized that someone had fallen i heard suze laughing and saying someone had just fallen and she was so pleased with it then i saw the person stand up and it was diane! i was like it is wrong that you laugh at someone like that in general but especially wrong when you used to be friends. so i have never hated anyone as much as i have hated her in my life and that is actually a pretty strong statement for me to make because it surprises me that that is true. she is the most foul and horrible person i have ever encountered and i wish that she would just stay far far away from me and those i like/love. ( i dont wish her any harm but karma is a bitch baby so you better watch out because the world will turn against you at some point). end rant.
the performances were blah! boyz were fun, billy was stupid and only performed one song because they couldnt dance in the rain, but they still could have sung them! matthew morrison performed a song and i got glee pins. mamma mia lip synched to a song (trecherous), south pacific was boring but well down. it rained during the show at one point and john stamos came to promote bye bye birdie. he wa on stage far too long saying the same thing but whatever it was still amusing and well i took a bazillion pictures. i felt as though i was pleasing the inner fan girl of my sister who used to have a crush on him quite a long time ago. i have no idea if she ever had a fan girl side but i suspect she had because i remember finding clippings of photos of him once when i was looking through some of her old stuff. so basically those pictures are for you! (also when i went to go get the camera pip was so excited to see me and when he flipped so i could rub his belly he was so excited that he ended up PEEing! on me, i was like dogs 2, tamra 0... it was not a good moment for me)
then i dropped stuff off with sasha and met mark and zachary at dave and busters. yummy food and a good time and lots of tickets later we headed out. i hung in the courtyard for a while charging my phone and fell asleep at one point. then i met chris and lon at avenue q lotto to thelp them. they lost, then i went to 9 to 5 lotto to help sasha and marty. sasha won!. then sasha, marty, matthew, zuri, and myself headed off and got some most yummy thai food.
they all rushed off to their shows, then i went to pick up the other camera from sasha and i gave some love to fred and pip. then i went to TOL for what i thought would be a few minutes of karaoke until i had to go to brooklyn. well karaoke was cancelled but that was ok because it gave me some time to catch up with michael (box office guy) who i havent seen in ages! then i headed to the public assembly in brooklyn and got there way too early despite my best efforts and met up eventually with megan, laura, and emily. the show started an hour late and i didnt get home in bed until 4 am. but the time spent with those girls and seeing the band perform was beyond worth it because it had been so long and well i missed them! the show started after midnight so i cant post pictures here, but i hadnt fallen asleep so that is why i wrote about it here. i even had a lovely "dance" with someone at the end of the night.

Day 332/365 (July 16, 2009)

this is my clock, it puts time on the ceiling... the only way to see what time it is at night! In fact i am so used to loking up sometimes when people ask me what time it is my first instinct is to look at the ceiling, no matter where i am.
i got up and headed out to Broadway in Bryant Park... today The Little Mermaid, 9 to 5, Toxic Avenger, and Pure COuntry were performing. IT was a sunny day but i was armed with a bottle of water and a thing of sunscreen. I am so fearful of the sun and burning so i put more on like every thirty minutes and kept asking if my face was turning red! I was excited when i got there and saw Chris saving a bunch of seats so i joined him and he was very good company to have. the morning was lots of fun but really? OK so 9 to 5 was exciting but they only sang two songs (beautifully done) but why didn't they sing 9 to 5? I also think it is awesome allison janey came and did the park since some people are too diva to do it, however i wish her understudy had because i would love to hear the songs sung by three outstading vocalists.... i do love her acting dont get me wrong, but she just cant sing. pure country is supposedly coming to broadway in the spring, i dont like country so it wont be a show i will see (unless casting dictates otherwise) but the guy who performed had an incredible voice and was cute to boot! the girl had to read from the sheet music but sounded great.
Toxic Avenger, this was my first exposure to it and it seemed like it must be the fun musical everyone says it is but two of the songs sounded the same and some of the same lyrics so i was like huh? but the guy who co-wrote it and is part of Bon Jovi was there to introduce them, then joined in the last song towards the end and i was like oh i wish dawn were here. the other show that performed was the little mermaid... once again this year brian d'dario (spelling is wrong there) stole the show, there is no question in my mind that he has a bright career ahead of him i mean how many others are that professional and killer at such a young age? Let's talk Drew Seeley. i was excited to see him perform because um hello CUTIE! and he does have a nice voice... in the end he did sound amazing but i was so dissapointed because he sang the new popified version of her voice. yes it is a fun song, but in the musical Her Voice is one of the most beautiful songs and if that is what i was going to hear i would have wanted to hear the musical version not the pop version... and this is broadway in bryant park after all, not pop concert in bryant park! i understand reasoning behind it... i am sure disney spent a ton of money producing that one song so why not use it, but STILL!!!!
after it was over chris and i took a walk to the times square visitor center because he wanted to pick up a few of the show fliers and stuff and i was able to look in a mirror there and be reassured that i had not gotten sun burnt!
then i headed home and got some lunch, where i cut my gums on a peach pit, and there was blood and it hurt! it was a tame sort of day at this point, though i did a bunch of dishes. WHen krysta came home she cooked us a truly scrumptious dinner and we had a yummy dessert of brownies and ice cream. Eventually i got ready and headed out to TOL for some karaoke.
the nights was lots of fun and it was very exciting to have had some many friends there at one point or another. Kim, Susie, and Jo were there when i arrived and shortly thereafter Joey turned up. Before the night ended Andrew had even popped in! (and a few others). The night was filled with lots of karaoke from me... best part is i made it through the night without singing any britney spears even if there were protests about that. it was just a fun and lovely night :D Kim and i walked to the subway together and then i went home and fell asleep!

Day 318/365 (July 2, 2009)

I had forgotten to take my necklace off the night before, which as you can see was a BIG mistake! I am allergic to anything that is not at least 14k gold, dont ask me why, but even hypoallergenic stuff has the power to turn me red and itchy (and in my ears swollen). as long as i dont wear necklaces for more than a few hours i am fine, but a full night produced this rather itchy red bumpy patch right where the pendant dangled all night :(
the day began with nothing new just being a lump on the couch... until krysta came home. she was bit with the clean bug and it trickled to me a little bit. (although i did hang my clean clothes up after two weeks all on my own before she came home). she did a MASSIVE floor clean, i mean she swept and got down on her hands and knees and scrubbed our floor like crazy and made them so clean and smooth. i moved the green futon mattress in between my mattress and box spring and my bed is so high up i kind of have to jump a little to get on since the bed is also on bed raisers. i dont know if this is bad for my mattress though but i dont want to store the futon mattress on the floor (eww)... anywho after i did this we were able to do the thing that needed to be done most after i had discovered it late the night before. tuckers pee (since he loves to pee on my floor close to where the skanky mattress had been dwelling until we got motivated to carry it down to the garbage) had been sometimes trickling underneath the skanky mattress that was on a big piece of plastic... and even though krysta and i have been cleaning it up whenever we saw it, we didnt know some of it was pooling underneath. well we lifted it up and found a rather large amount of dog pee that had been sitting for who knows how long and explaining why i was always complaining of my room smelling like dog pee! so we laid some heavy chemicals on it and cleaned it like nobodies business and found my flip flops that i have been looking for for a wicked long time! (this story is a little TMI i guess huh?)
anywho there was some freshening up involved and i finally convinced Krysta to come to karaoke with me. we headed out and while we were waiting at 72nd street to transfer one of her teeth split in half! i learned that i can handle blood and guts and gore, but i cant handle seeing a split tooth held in hand! shivers just thinking about it, but we went to karaoke anyway.
it was a fun night in TOL and the new sound system is so fierce you feel the stage vibrate underneath you! i had lots of fun singing and chatting with everyone there. especially Michael (one of the many rockin' box office guys), Patrick, Joey, someone i havent seen in ages and i cant remember her name because i suck at that, gabe, and zach. (other peeps too). two sets of people even sang *NSYNC which made me very happy and dakota even told me i am getting and sounding better at the karaoke :D (josh even swung by for a hot second). i would also like to point out that Patrick is one of my fave NWS employees... he is such a fun and sweet person!
we ended up staying out pretty late and after we got home and walked tucker a tiny bit it was like 2 am! i really needed a night of fun where i forgot about my down mood. and i ran into kyle post on the way into NWS, so i mean really? that was a pleasant surprise! and i got was paid another lovely compliment by someone else and made more plans to see n2n. i even only had one moment of "oh i shouldn't have said that" well at least in front of one particular person who i dont exactly trust and i dont think actually likes me... but hopefully she wont bring it up to anyone in particular... crossies?

Day 290/365 (June 4, 2009)

so the day started out with finding out softball was once again rained out... which turned out to be a good thing because i didnt feel like having to get ready for the day that early. anywho i found out during the day that mitch was going on for luke in altar boyz and even though i have been really good about not seeing it too often i wanted to see him as Luke since that is my favorite character. i also knew i would only get a ticket if i could get what i consider a good seat since i am a seat snob. i also made plans with kavin and he knew i would only go if there was a good seat.
well anywho my plan was to go to the box office then help mary lotto hair. i got to the box office and was not given very excitable seat options so i was going to hold off until i could talk to kavin and help wit hair... so i high-tailed it over to the theater just in time for the lotto and found mary, sasha, matthew, mackenzie, and zuri. luckily mackenzie was called right away so sasha and i peaced out! (later i found out my name had been called... yay?)
Sasha and i went on a mailbox hunt, and did a little bit of walking then i went to the box office to buy the tickets. well just s i was about to give th discount code i was told it was going to be a wunderstudy show and that mitch had been switched to mark and joey was going to be luke. so i ended up not getting the tickets because i knew i was seeing mitch as mark on saturday. (i have already seen joey do all 5 roles!) then we went back to sasha's and hung out for a while.
later i headed to NWS to meet kavin for the final round of karaoke idol. i made a random friend for a few minutes waiting for kavin, who it turned out was inside the whole time seeing The Toxic Avenger, and i chatted with Michael for a tiny bit while he waited for someone.
anywho finally met up with kavin and i got to sing twice during the night and watched the final round of karaoke idol... i wasnt happy with the winner but whatevs! it was so nice hanging with kavin and it was one of my favorite nights i have spent at karaoke because he is so fun and i havent seen him since january and we danced around and all that fun stuff... we left at seriously like 2 in the morning!

Day 279/365 (May 24, 2009)
the day started off kinda hum drum, then got really good, then ended really bad. i did take an actual picture this day, but this was the most important one, which i screen capped from icanhascheezburger.it was a lazy morning, and i could have used the car but i didnt... then eventually we got stuff ready and eventually people came over. It was a lovely afternoon/evening with family and friends. we ate lots of food, and i even found hummus i actually liked! the kids put on a dance party show for us, and even though we kept going in and out because of the rain or lack thereof it was just a really nice day and i am happy i stayed the whole weekend.
then i left and took the train back even though i didnt want to because i didnt want to ditch mary for seeing rock of ages on the today show the next morning. well sometime in transit i have no idea when it happened but my emotions took a crazy downward crash. i was so unhappy and cranky and it just wasnt good. when i saw this particular icanhascheezburger i almos cried when i saw it because it was so cute and i guess i needed a hug i never got at that moment. eventually i put away all my clothes and went to bed, not that i got to sleep for too long!

Day 255/365 (April 30, 2009)
this was a busy day. Tucker and i went and met Judith in central park and had lunch, tried contacting Krissy and her friend, then i rushed home, met up with Krissy and her friend Stephanie i think, got them settled in, showered, and headed out. i went to sasha's and said a quick hello to her, fred, pip, and marty. I borrowed her camera then headed to the marquis to meet karolina. She gave me my necklace back then we met up with diane.
Diane and i went to the opening of 9 to 5 where i ran into kelly, then later we went to the part, and i saw kate there too, i have some good friends. then they shut the kinda lame party down real early and i went home.
Tuesday, April 14, 2009
Day 238/365 (April 13, 2009)
i wanted to sleep but this didnt happen! i knew i wanted to meet tucker the puppy but i also knew i had to give the kitties my undivided attention for a while before i did this so they didnt think i cared more about him, then them. They have become even closer since tucker came in and SO cute! after a while i went and met him, and he is so adorable and i spent alot of time cleaning up after his puppy accidents, krysta's floor has never been cleaner!
Eventually i was able to get a little nap in which helped because i had a show to go to. TONY magazine was giving away free tickets to Rock of Ages which i had avoided seeing for quite sometime since i thought it was going to be stupid and well there was another major reason that kept me away but you dont pass up free theater! i met with Mary and we went to Cosi and got some yummy dinner and then went on a failed ticket box office mission at 9 to 5 and hair. 9 to 5's box office made me more upset than the helen hayes box office and that is saying something! then the hair one was a major butt munch towards mary so we got her ticket anyway while standing outside so they can suck it! i am sorry but why do box office people have to be so crabby sometimes?
then we went to wait to be let in to RoA, some former NWS employees work there now and i was like oh that is why i dont see them anymore! i dont like admitting i am wrong but i do when it is true... i really thought i was going to HATE rock of ages with an absolute passion but i couldnt have been more wrong. the show was so great and fun and i just loved it! i mean i want to go back like now! the cast was really quite talented, yes ALL of them, and yea. i really thought there wasnt a show i was super excited about out right now (yes people i really am on a break from ABz i just dont want to end up hating it, so i truly am on a hiatus) but now there is! i wanna go back! and the people that came out the SD were really nice... and even my stalker!
my two favorites (i dont know names yet sorry) were the people who played Franz (hit me with your best shot) and the narrator. but drew was right up there with him... okay i know his name but i know people have google alerts for people and well i am being deceptive. The picture up above is "drew" and we are doing something from the show "detroit, michigan" and it made me LOL when i saw it (ok many things did during the show) and i wanted it for a picture... and when i asked for it my friends were all like i bet you dont even know what that means, and before i could be like so what, he was all of course she does... thanks for having my back! (ps i now know what it means)... and it was a nice surprise to run into some other friends that i didnt know were going to be there.
Finally it was late so home we all went, and andrew and i rode the subway until he got to his stop... and i got home and yea i don't know what my problem is but i just cant sleep at night lately and it bothers me that i am having such a difficult time! i also have crazy back pain because the bed i sleep on in MA is just horrible! i mean it shouldnt be because it has soft stuff and pillows but it has just always killed me.

Day 196/365 (March 2, 2009)
The day wasn't eventful until Krysta, Mary, Karolina, Mark, Michelle, and myself went to a reading of a musical called Homeland that Kyle Dean was in. The musical was pretty good but it was only selections from it so i feel like they cut back on the secondary story line which made sense to feature the main story line, but sometimes i felt like something was missing. The cast was perfect, and the music was quite something. Deborah Lew has such a pretty voice, and well everyone was just fantastic.I was pleasantly surprised to see that Michael, who was co-host at mostly sondheim last friday, was in it. Kyle Dean did a great job and got to sing one of my 3 favorite songs that was performed. ("something in the key of d" is what i refer to it as)
We chatted with Kyle Dean after for a bit and he was surprised to see all of us there.
The most random favorite things of the day for me though play to my "i am so totally a superstar" mindset. so when we went to check in the person with the guest list didnt even ak for my name, and was like sheehan you are all set... and i was impressed he knew my last name too! then the best part so when we were waiting around for the house to open this guy asked me :excuse me, have i seen you perform at the duplex?" and i was like oh you mean mostly sondheim and he was like yea... turns out he saw me and grace sing church rulez and remembered me... that made my day. Especially since he said perform, not sing... which makes it sound like i had a show there or something which would never happen in a million years but still! and to top it off turns out he was the one who wrote Homeland!
ps there was alot of snow on the ground! apparently it was a blizzard.

Day 181/365 (February 15, 2009)
Then we got ready and went to help some people out with lotto for Lin's final performance in In The Heights. It was crazy mayhem, as i thought it would be. The best part about things like this is all the people you know and might not have seen in a while end up being there too. Its like a mini-reunion. The people i was directly trying to help did not win the lotto, but enough did that the person who had never seen the show got a ticket through the lotto win trickle down. I just wished we could have helped the other get a better seat. After we hung out for a teeny bit before my mom, Krysta, and myself headed over to B.B. King's for Broadway Bears. When we got there we ran into some people that i knw and we spent a great portion of the reception with them which was nice. The event was pretty nifty! We had VIP tickets so got to go in on the earlier side and had the chance (before it got insanely crowded) to roam around and look at the bears on display, chat with the bear designers, and enjoy the open bar. I learned i like a drink called Blue Hawaiian. They also had hors d'oeuvres that we sampled. I got to say hi to Sieber... how i heart him! We also had a chance to have a quick chat with Blake and Emma which pleased me since i never stage doored the final performance of Spring even though i had been there.
Afterwards we headed into the main room to take our seats and get some insane sweets to munch on for the auction. The auction began with Sieber and some woman singing a really funny song. We ended up getting a little tired of the auction and decided to leave, but waited until after the Billy Elliot bears were auctioned so we could report the amount to Carina right away. Highlights of the auction included: Sieber getting on the phone and getting the telephone bidder to go up to $16,000 for the Sir Robin bear, he had also said he would give the winner his house seats to Spamalot (i am thinking people werent realizing he was joking since Spamalot has closed). I really wanted the Clio/Kira Xanadu bear, she looked so cute, and even had working roller skates! The Billy Elliots were there and so cute. They tried to get the bidding to increase but no one went past $4,000. I felt bad. Apparently Groff wrote the Wendla letter on the Wendla bears butt when he signed it. The forbidden broadway bear came with two seperate outfits and it had its own "teddy" to wear so when it is doing its quick change from Ethel to Annie she is not naked. I am sure i am missing something else i enjoyed lots.
We then went over to TOL to go to Clark's birthday party. It was lots of fun and as always more fun when i randomly run into Shoshana! The events that took place then were quite amusing and entertaining, and i was shocked my mom seemed to be having a good time... of course she had like two drinks at Broadway Bears which is alot for her in general but especially because we hadnt really eaten anything all day except pancakes and a few random hors d'oeuvres. It was also a nice surprise to see Mark there too! If only i could write the highlights here, but alas this is a public blog and that squashes that.
Then we all went back home and i ended uo staying up until 3 am because of the nap i had... i just couldnt fall asleep. I however dont mind because it was such a great day!

Day 176/365 (February 10, 2009)
Walking into the theatre was a surreal experience. It was not the nederlander but here was this semi-familiar set. There was no funky smell and it was smaller and slightly different but it was still the same basic thing i was so used to. When the cast first walked out i began to cry, and during a good portion of the first act i just kept crying. It was a strange thing to e watching the show in someplace that was not the nederlander and knowing that this was most likely the last time i would ever be seeing it performed live. The cast was so incredible strong and i liked them all (with a few momentary exceptions). It was funny at one point because when joanne says My maureen during TM the microphone didnt echo so mark couldnt say patched. Then finally it started going een een een, so anthony was able to say patched and it continued.
SPOILER: I didnt like the change to Angels eulogies it came off kind of like an army and too mechanical in my opinion, and i dont understand why Gordon doesnt get to come back out during the end of Another Day. There were also some choreography changes... i kin of liked the way paul and steve dance at the end of LVB b better, but dont know why mark didnt use his camera during High Holy Days.
END SPOILER: Stage door was weird because i ended up standing next to the girl i sat next to at the final show! I was sad i didnt get to see Adam Halpin (who was great as Gordon), but it was nice chatting with David (who blew us stage kisses), Nicolette (who noticed my haircut), and Andy. Who had told us seeing us all in the front row made it kind of feel like we were back at the neder but not.
MINOR SPOILER: The lyric change (for tour purposes) of you can take the girl out of jersey, but you cant take the jersey out of the girl got crazy applause, and there were lots of annoying screamers in the audience!
MINOR SPOILER OVER: After Jess, Jennifer, Carina, and myself made the trip back to New York and it was nice to just have that time to catch up. I really had a great time, and am glad i was able to go.

Day 169/365 (February 3, 2009)
This was the poster inside the York Theatre for Zanna Don't. It was a concert version of the show to raise money for the terrific organization called GLSEN. Although it said Marty Thomas was Mr. Broadway 2008 which technically he is but they arent supposed to use that name because of a copyright issue and seeing it on the poster made me laugh.I was excited to see this for many reasons, including the fact i had wanted to see it so long ago when it first ran off broadway but never got around to it. After seeing this i really wished i had seen it back then. Everyone did such a great job in it and my favorite character was Candy. It was also nice to see Michael Kadin Craig do something non-altar boyz related and run into so many of my friends there. Mark, Michelle, Jo Ann, Shoshana, Kelly, Diane, Krysta, and Mary. Michael Urie was even there!
Highlights of the evening were them busting out into the Single Ladies dance thing, MT pulling out the Wicked Grimery and using it as the spell book and singing the no good deed allaga whatever, and the Xanadu choreography while singing Love Sleuth lyric, and Marty Thomas' spoof of the Patti LuPone/Gypsy freak out (

Day 156/365 (January 21, 2009)
I headed down to meet Megan and we ate dinner at Subway before heading over to the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater to see Seth in Suddenly Seth. We must all remember that i can be an evil person and i don't like it when i dont get my own way... especially when i had been waiting along time to ensure i was one of the first people inside. When i got there there were like 3 people in front of me, but i was ok with that because i hadn't gotten there first and i realized they were related to him, so duh they get first preference... but then tons of people started coming inside (instead of us waiting outside where the line was supposed to be) and it was becoming quite chaotic and i was no longer in the front of the line... this caused me great stress... so when i went to pick up my tickets i asked if it was ok that we are all waiting in the hallway and not outside (knowing the answer) and he said it was a fire hazard and everyone would have to leave... so as i made my way upstairs and took my place at the front of the line outside everyone was kicked out and had to get behind me.... haha sweet victory, dont mess with me!
I didnt sit in the front like i wanted since kayla, emily, and megan didnt want to we sat in the second row... which later on turned out to be a good thing! Seth's show was really funny and i am glad i chose seeing that over Pay What You Can Day at Altar Boyz even though it kinda hurt knowing how many of my friends were there without me, but i see Altar Boyz alot and i missed the only other performance of this to see Altar Boyz, so i made the right choice! After Seth's show was over this comedian guy had his turn... we should have left but we were like we paid for it, why not stay? Seriously he was not funny and i was tortured and even thought about leaving at one point but didnt want him to bring that fact into his "act" so i stayed and rolled my eyes.... i am srry your stories about being high and all your addictions are not funny! This is why it was good i was not in the front row! As we were leaving we ran into Brian and Gallagher on the street outside and it was funny because they said they had just gotten trouble for standing there quietly... apparently (according to UCBT) there are little old ladies that live around there that have a vendetta against them.
Then i left and headed over to NWS to meet up with everyone as they were leaving boyz, and it was nice to see so many of my friends there, and some unexpected ones, and david even saw the show! Then we all parted ways and i left and hung out with Mikey... we went and spent some time over at Matthew's where Mackenzie and Zuri were also at, but we ended up leaving shortly thereafter because we wanted Jamba Juice. So Mikey and i left and i finally tried one of the secret jambas... white gummi which actually tasted like a white gummi bear. Then we spent some time in Virgin and walked to Penn Station and i waited with him until his train boarded and it was just lots of fun!

Day 88/365 (November 14, 2008)
You know what is great about seeing shows that people are in after they have left another show? if you go to a first preview performance of that new show you run into all the people you met from that original show... in this case Spring Awakening.
I found out i was going to see the new show that Jonathan Groff is in called Prayer For My Enemy... and within 24 hours realized a bunch of people i knew would also be there... and of course ran into some others there too.
I took this picture with him because well i liked his hair?! idk if that is a good enough reason but i still like it.
and it is nice to know i am not the only one who never gets a new coat :)

Day 16/365 (September 3, 2008)
We can start with the obvious... it is just funny. It said sassy but the way she was wearing her hoodie, well it brought out the junior high schooler in all of us.
What you can't see from looking at this picture (unless you are in the know) is how meaningful it is. Here we have a picture that would not have happened if i had not run into this old friend. This is one of the many things that i will miss about Rent being no more. Running into friends without planning on it because you are drawn to the same place. Even though you can't see anything to do with the Nederlander Theatre all of the tell-tale signs are there. You have Bar 41, and the reflection of Red Lobster in the window, you even have the Target ads that plague us. (ok i know why Target is advertising there but still!) The final thing that i love about this picture is the pinkish bracelt she is wearing. I havent taken mine off for more than a few hours since the day i put it on two years ago. (only taken it off for job interviews).
