Day 311/365 (May 24, 2015)
I got up and headed to run an errand before meeting up with Holly and Anna to hep them with the Hedwig lotto. It turns out they were off by an hour so I ran to drop off Broadway Hunger Game bribes at Matilda, Jersey Boys, and The Book of Mormon, then back to them. (had a lovely conversation with Christine inside JB for a bit which was nice.) While helping with the lotto I got a few people to make videos in support of Jake! Then we went to the evil cookie place and after I went to Times Square/the TKTS steps and found people to make videos as well. Later on i went to the Kinky Boots Stage Door and got a bunch of people to make videos! All using the sign i made the night before with the glittery logo I was proud of! The sad thing is I forgot to put my vivo smart on so all the walking in the morning didn't register :(
Later on I got a Jersey Boys support picture, so yay success!
Eventually Kayleigh, Sasha, Karen and I went out for a run, which was nice after the wonky start. If I had been wearing my band all day i would have exceeded the step goal for the day but instead it looks like i failed majorly! womp womp. Then Karen, Kayleigh, and I went to get ice cream... yum!

Day 310/365 (May 23, 2015)
The day was pretty epic! Got up super early and Sasha and I put our color run temporary tattoos on and then headed out. Sadly Karen couldn't join us, but we met up with others on the subway along the way. When we got there I ran into Michael (Gioia) and after taking some pictures I ran into Sydney... I mean what were the odds?
Eventually we made our way to the start and got to run down into Citi field (The Mets) and out along the perimeter of the outfield... I may not like sports but I know that was pretty cool! I am shocked that we ran almost the entire way, i did't think i could do that but I guess adrenaline kicked in! It was so fun going through all the colors and the glitter. we finished in about 33 minutes! The Pro Camera caught me leaping over the finish line! We had some fun at the color throw party and I shattered my phone then we bought stuff and headed back to Manhattan.
We popped into the Apple store to try and get my phone fixed, then walked home stopping for fun pictures in Bryant Park and the TKTS steps in Times Square and Duane Reade. When I finally showered oh man! the glitter also just came pouring out of my hair as I brushed it!
We got Burrito Box for lunch which was yummy, then later I met up with Hope to see Pitch Perfect 2 after I went to the UWS Apple store to get my phone fixed and I ran into Lil as I was leaving.
Fred is so cute.

Day 348/365 (August 1, 2009)
this is how i woke up with them cuddled next to me and i am not sure how i pulled off getting this picture. the day started off slow but then things picked up. Mark called because he had found out Jessica was going to be going on as diana and since he is CT he asked if i could go see about if they had any standing room tickets available. i was going out anyway because i wanted to take pip to the dog run so i said of course. i got myself ready then pip and i headed to the next to normal box office and inquired about the tickets, we failed as i had suspected but it was worth a shot, then i went to the TKTS booth to find out what they had to tell mark. Even though it wasnt good news he had still decided he was coming in. So Pip and i headed to the 72nd St dog run and hung there for a while. he took a liking to this pretty dog and kept following him around and chasing a thrown tennis ball with these other tow dogs. there was this tiny fluff ball that was my favorite of all the other dogs named riley, he was only a couple weeks old and he was a yorkie/maltese mix and i wanted Pip to be friends with him so i could play with him... didnt work out for me lol. eventually i decided we need to leave the park because pip spent too much time trying to hump another dog so we headed home.
i showered (from being sweaty) and put on some new clothes and headed back out to meet mark by next to normal. He asked again about standing room since they had said to check back later and failed, so we went to TKTS and the seat they had to offer was partial view so he decided against it and we went and grabbed some chinese food and brought it to the courtyard to eat so we werent inside on a beautiful day. he walks really fast! anywho there was only one table open in the courtyard and of course it was right next to some of the boyz. i dont know why i always feel so awkward about situations like that i dont ever want to seem like i am annoying or stalking... i should get over that, but eh. anywho we ate and chatted and killed some time before going back over to the box office and he ended up buying a third row center seat that the people in front of him had just returned since alice wasnt in the show. (their loss and his gain). i stayed with him until the doors opened and then because it was so nice out i just didnt want to go home so i went to the courtyard and started to reread harry potter and the sorcerer's stone. however i was really sleepy and kept dozing off so i was literally in the middle of getting ready to tweet i was leaving when liz w. texted asking if i was still there to hang out a bit. so i said i was and she and lizzy k. came and we chatted for quite some time before they had a ride come pick them up. i still didnt want to go to the subway yet so i walked to 72nd st and finally made my way home. i ended up staying up way later than i should have but what can ya do?

Day 306/365 (June 20, 2009)

i got up early, and made some pancakes for breakfast... they didnt hit the spot i was looking for... then i went out for the rainbow rehearsal/meeting.it was in a lovely room and i helped with rehearsal and then we had the initiation... wow there are so many differences from MA rainbow it will take some getting used to but everyone did a great job and at the end they did this friendship circle thing that i loved so very much!
then i left pretty quickly because it ran late (started late) and i was meeting Zina... but sadly she had already left to go home... i was sad but i knew i could have some fun with sasha and marty...
so i headed up, ran into some altar boyz flyer-ing TKTS area while i was walking... then went and got some subway and hung with sasha, marty, fred, and pip for a bit. i ate some interesting pickles (one was a cinnamon raisin tasting one) and we watched an interesting theater documentary thing on "the golden age"
then i went to path mark and did some grocery shopping and came home. the night ended (after much tv) in krysta helping me change my lightbulb in a death defying set up since we do not have a ladder... the sight of her getting off the two chairs, two speakers, 2 taped together shelves contraption was HYSTERICAL... she dove onto the mattresses/clean laundry pile near by to get off...
oh also there are harry potter movie posters everywhere in the times square subway stop! like every where and it made me all crazy excited! and at some point i did a crazy cleaning of our living room and my bedroom floors.

Day 187/365 (February 21, 2009)
I got there way earlier than i intended because the subway actually worked super fast at that time of the night but it worked out because there was a bunch of people that hopped in line as soon as i did. I had the cupcakes with me as bribery to get Matthew to come. I saved a table for us (since i knew Sasha, Matthew, and Nick were on their way). Todd was back as a host and i had never seen him at MS before but he is one of my new favorite people! so funny and talented too... At one point during the night we had a Rent sing along that began with Seasons of Love but then it became both parts of La Vie Boheme (we fast forwarded over I Should Tell You) and that was my absolute favorite part of the night! Sasha, Matthew, Nick (the cupcake vacuum), and I had so much fun and we sang every word and threw in some choreography for good measure!!!! we really did come alive during those songs. Another part of the night was filled with some trivia... but Matthew couldn't follow the rules and ruined two questions... silly boy! We also learned what an Ace Hole was and LOL! Which after seeing the reading of "How The Nurse Feels" i just dont understand how he has fans.
Grace finally came towards the end for a little but (i even sang a "cute" but train wrecked version of i'm not that smart and Grace and I have concocted a plan for next week... only if the room ends up being composed of NOT certain people.
When Grace and I got home we stayed up with Krysta until like 6:30 in the morning talking and watching videos... fun but i really shouldnt go to bed when the sun is coming up.
I finally woke up to a phone call from Mark telling me that he thought Story of My life would be closing Sunday since tickets weren't onsale past Sunday. It turns out he was right and i said i would go get us student tickets for the night show. Sadly the BO didnt have student tickets so i went to TKTS for the first time ever! the line was long, but not too bad and it has great security that stopped someone who tried to cut the line! We got ninth row center and that was good times.
The show was quite good in my opinion. I would have loved to have been able to see it a few more times. The set was simple, rather beautiful, and perfect for the show. Until the show began all you saw was a bold black background, a very white podium and a very white desk and chair. i enjoyed its start and contrasting nature. When the show began with an audio recording of two boys the balck background parted ways just a bit to reveal a white background that changed colors depending on the lighting used and Will Chase's character walked out. Eventually the black went away and we saw Malcolm Gets' character chilling on a library book shelf ladder/wheely thing and a massive book case (all white in the back. It was really nifty because it seemed like MG was wearing all white the way the lighting was until he got off the ladder and you saw he was wearing beige. The rest of the stage was awesome because it was slightly curved and they were able to use it to get closer to the book shelves, or at one point run up a jump down.
Another thing i liked about it was when they made snow angels in the "snow" the lights created what looked like the snow-figures as they stood in place moving their arms and legs (like i used to fake jumping jacks in kick boxing)... That amused me to see. Also the lighting made the desk and chair appear blue at one point, and the books lit up on the shelves. There was a story about a butterfly in the show and when i looked at the playbill after and saw the three books had little butterflies on the bottom of each it made me smile! There was a moment when Will's character threw a bunch of papers up in the air, and as the papers started to fall "snow" began to fall from the top of the stage and it was kind of a breath-taking moment to see the flecks of white dance down towards the ground when the lighting had changed to make the background look very much darker than it was. I truly hope this music does get recorded. Another part i liked (and i dont remember exact quotage) was Malcolm's character had told Will's character that because he wasnt there the moment he had died he will never have answers he can only ever have questions... and isnt that a universal truth?
After the show ended i ran into about a bazillion people i knew which was fun, and mark was all "do you know everybody?" the audience was also surprising bcause they were all really respectful. Not one cell phone, i didnt hear any crinkling wrappers, people didnt talk... it was absolute quiet except for the extremely occasional cough, and the one rude person who sounded as if they were opening a can of soda. I have never seen a performance with such overwhelming quiet of people listening to every word! It was fun to share the night with MArk.
Then we went to the stage door and i was able to finally fangirl Malcolm a little bit which made me so happy. I had seen him years ago in an off broadway show called Polish Joke and have been wanting to see him do something else ever since then and well he was worth the wait! Malcolm and WIll both have such beautiful and powerful voices and they blended so well together and their chemistry onstage was astounding... the show had a sad ending but that made it kind of nice actually.
Afterwards Mark and I headed home because he was sleeping over so he could be closer to the airport for his flight to FL in the morning... we stayed up later than we should talking with Krysta and showing him videos too... but this time it was only 12:30! It was a good day!
