Day 351/365 (July 3, 2015)
I got myself up on the earlier side and headed to trader joes to get some provisions!
Then I came home and after i ate breakfast I unpacked everything and did laundry. I also made the kitchen super clean, too bad it didn't last long :( Also caught up on more DVR stuff and made my way to Michael's to get stuff for a project Jess asked me to work on last night.
I made zoodles for dinner (zucchini turned into pasta via a spiralizer) and it was pretty awesome! it had the texture of al dente pasta and tasted so yummy!
Then I cut the poster board into the correct sizes.
Fred wants Sasha's stems.

Day 334/365 (June 16, 2015)
After work I headed home and embarked on a 7.5 hour baking adventure. I really didn't think it would take that long and I ate way too many sugar cookies. Thankfully the sugar cookie dough i had made the night before had firmed up enough that I could roll it out and after each roll out i slowly added more flour to it... this made the cookies come out with various thickness and spread-outedness depending on when it was cut. This made them not my best sugar cookie attempt but I didn't really care because they were going on cupcakes and needed to be decorated.
Over the next several hours many dished were done, and I went on a cookie decorating rampage with some design ideas from Sasha and Karen. I made jock straps and thongs and they came out better than the boobs (complete with pasties) I made. They are for a Broadway Bares bake sale and the theme this year is tops and bottoms. I used candy melts in strategic places to imply bumps. My most scandalous decorating yet! I also made 75 mini red velvet cupcakes and frosting that once again not my best but still good. I got to the point of the night where I just didn't care anymore because i wanted it done. Did i mention i ate way too many cookies also?
I left the kitchen cleaner than when I began because I am actually good at picking up after myself.

Day 273/365 (April 16, 2015)
After work I headed out to New Rochelle. I decided to walk to Paula and Ted's from the train station. The walk is not bad at all except you run out of sidewalk pretty early on so I was risking my life and getting all kinds of yuck in my boots. Also by the Larchmont train station there is a Thai restaurant named Durien... why would you name your food place after the worst tasting food?
I feel so sad for my cousins this sort of thing is terrible. It is made worse because it is always nice to see people you haven't seen in a while, but it is for a sad reason so you feel conflicted. I finally met Ted's brother that lives in San Diego. Patty, Auntie Margaret, and Uncle Dennis came up as did Mo and John. After everyone headed to the funeral home we stayed behind and cleaned everything up for them, then finally headed to the wake. Susan and Doug (Fleming) came and when I saw them I almost cried because it has been so long and I truly do miss them... and I won't lie hearing Doug call me "T" again made me have a flood of emotions. I really need to make more of an effort to see them.
Marya was also there... eventually I headed home for the night.

Day 262/365 (April 5, 2015)
I woke up and spent almost 6 hours doing a massive apartment clean. I sterilized both bathrooms and the living room/kitchen. It looks so good!
Then I took a much needed bath, and failed at iMovie once again. I don't know what to do I need to get it done but it is messing it up!
Then I met up with Hope, Karly, Chelsea, and some other people for dinner and cookies, then hung out at Hope's place for a bit.
Fred and Charlie are so cute.

Day 146/365 (December 10, 2014)
Despite getting in so late I was still up early for work and had a very long day. Then when I got home Ben David helped me put our couch back together and I did some apartment cleaning. I made The Spidey Boys DVD and Ben David introduced me to Actual Cannibal Shia LaBoeuf on YouTube... hilarious! There was also Charlie cuddles.

Day 66/365 (September 21, 2014)
Oh Boy oh boy! today was non other than "Broadway Christmas" aka the BC/EFA Flea Market which also serves as a reunion day where you run into so many people you know and love (or ones you try to avoid).
It started out early so I could peruse the tables and give them a once over. The thing I wanted the most was from the Pippin table. It was one of the Charlemagne pictures that pippin throws knives at signed by KDM and John Dosset. It started off way too highly priced but by the end of the day it came down to just the right amount and I got it!. I also got a picture with Barnum (dog in Pippin) wearing his circus collar. That dog is far too cute! I also won tickets to On The Town from the TDF Pik a Tik! I have never won tickets from there before, and got a Rent flyer with Joey Fatone on it and the Rent Bible (aka hardcover book). I spent the majority of the day stalking the Pippin table waiting for the price to drop otherwise I just popped in and out of the market throughout the day but here are some of my memorable moments:
-Ran into Caleb D. at the Cabaret table... it is always nice to see his smiling face!
-Ran into Todd Buonopane at the Cinderella table, since I missed seeing him Thursday after the show it was especially nice to chat with him
-Running into BC/EFA Frank a few times, and him showing me his The Little Mermaid pelican head purchase
-Ran into Haven Burton as she was leaving the autograph table. It was nice to catch up with her since it has been ages and also nice hearing her say how great I looked
-Ran into Neil while he was trying to sell raffle tickets to win tickets to Cinderella while he was decked head to tow in Buffalo Bills clothing (you know typical for this crowd lol)
-James Snyder was at the IF/THEN table for a bit and when he saw me he winked... my heart may have melted a touch
-I was standing by the Mamma Mia area and one of the cast members ran out to the table for a few moments in costume during the show and had to be corralled back in (blurry photo above)
-i tried to cross Shubert Alley as the it turns out the next way of celebrity autograph table people were taking their post and the crowd was parted waiting for them to walk by as if they were waiting for some major celebrity like The Beatles or something
-Just fun with some of my favorite people
By the end of the night I was exhausted beyond belief but it was all worth it and I even did two loads of laundry and cleaned up my room!
I would say the only negative part of the day was concerning Mark. It is a real shame when someone you were close to reacts to seeing you like they couldn't be bothered and wants to get away from you as soon as possible for no reason at all. Whatever I won't let someone else's problem affect my happiness.

Day 17/365 (August 3, 2014)
I was very productive today! I did all of my laundry (3 loads) and cleaned my room, made some peaches and cream popsicles with honey and chia seeds. They were in my new sailboat molds! I also went on an arts and crafts binge and made quite a few fun cards. I even made a chicken enchilada lasagna for dinner that was so yummy and am already looking forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow night! Fred decided to nap on my mountain of cean laundry, and Charie passed out in my arts and crafts drawer.
I had issues getting the pictures from my phone so they are screen caps

Day 306/365 (June 20, 2009)

Day 293/365 (June 7, 2009)
i woke up and cleaned my room hardcore! i also bought the final supplies for making of the cake, and bought some drinks and chips for the party. then i waged war! i made the rice krispy treats for the medallion and then the rest for us to just eat. i cut the cake and frosted it. I wrapped the wire in super awesome gold ribbon and when the rice krispy was hard enough i wrapped the ribbon over the parts of the dowel that would be exposed. then i frosted the treat and sprinkled the glitter sugar on it, and then after it refrigerated to firm it up i used the glitter gel to do the details... then i waited. ps i succeeded greatly because my bad boy cake never actually fell over! it did fall apart because the rice krispy treat medallion broke in half after 25 minutes (it got real hot and i think the marshmallow in the treat loosened up and SPLIT!). but i said i would be happy if it lasted at least 5 minutes and it surpassed that greatly!Day 292/365 (June 6, 2009)

anywho by the time i got home and settled in bed, and did some pant cleaning because of tucker pee and something else i saw my toes that had been in pain and it is hard to tell in this photo but man my middle three left toes were infinitely swollen compared to my right toes. they hurt wicked badly! thankfully when i woke up the pain had subsided a little bit and the swelling had gone down.

Day 288/365 (June 2, 2009)
i paid more bills, and i went on a cleaning spree. i wiped down the surfaces in the bathroom, including the tub, and i did a bazillion dishes... practically all our silverware! i also wiped down and organized all our surfaces, i just couldnt get to my bedroom... will stay messy for a while!Wednesday, May 13, 2009
Day 268/365 (May 13. 2009)
The day began relatively hum drum. Emma was cuddled up on me as always but sadly that had to end. i had a bunch of stuff i knew i needed to do today so i put together some of my to do lists so i could begin.Day 267/365 (May 12. 2009)

Day 250/365 (April 25, 2009)

Day 245/365 (April 20, 2009)
Today i paid lots of bills, and finally finished cleaning my room. i also had to puppy proof it since tucker can now get over all my well crafted blockades and that meant moving the cat food once again to on top of my heater. he also had more accidents on the floor, so there was alot of cleaning but he seems to be doing it right again which is nice!
I then cleaned all the dishes and stuff and just worked on organizing my life!
eventually i finished my cheese soup which was still as yum as ever and if you cant tell one of my favorite things to eat! there was lots of tv watching, and cleaning up after tucker, but we are making progress!
eventually i headed, in the pouring rain, to see the broadway beauty pageant. it was really quite a fun awesome thing! The host was Tovah Feldshuh and let me tell you she is absolutely hylerical! the judges were charles busch, beth leavel, seth rudetsky, and ana gasteyer. each one added such an amusing unique touch to the night!
the contestants were just um wow! i'll talk about each of them... but it in general the pageant went like this Opening number (which was cute and done by all the contestants), talent competition, interview, swim wear competition, then past winners performed, then marty thomas performed. in between there was voting and speeches.
Tony James (Mr. Lion King) did a stunning modern dance with a partner and he moved so beautifully and gracefully (and his partner) and made perfect lines and movements, what i rememeber from his interview was that he has been in TLK for about 9 years on and off. His swim wear (which he made himself) was done to i just cant wait to be king and he had a lion king towel to start off with.
James Brown III (Mr. Little Mermaid) also did an incredible modern dance with a partner. Once again i just cant get over the agility and gracefulness and control had over his (well their) bodies. his partner looked like he could be his twin. Sadly right now i dont remember anything from his interview, herumph! His swim wear was done to kiss the girl and he totally played to the audience and judges!
David Larsen (Mr. Billy Elliot, the first ever straight contestant in 3 years) oh his talent! he gave a brief synopsis of BE and a little story from the rehearsal process. He said this inspired the song and he wrote it and gave it to his cast on opening night (thankfully not the young ones) it was an original song about margaret Thatcher that had quite the catchy scandalous chorus! His interview caused him to recite the pledge of allegiance in the accent used in BE and he said his happiest moment ever was marrying his wife... awwweeee! His was the best swim wear! he came out in coal minor garb, complete with head light. then he cued the lights off took the stuff off and when the lights came on he had "super short shorts" that had a sparkly union jack on the front and a star on the back. (I dont know BE music so i dont know what song it was)
Adam Fleming (Mr. Wicked) he sang a song and danced with 4 girls that they choreographed. It was super fun and really got the energy of the crowd up! he was dr. feel good or something like that. yay for him dancing so well! What i remember from the interview was that he got his equity card when he got hairspray and wicked is his 2nd broadway show. His swim wear involved green and he came out with "green elixir" and pretended to be drunk while stumbling... his song started with have yourself a little drink my.... then turned into popular for a hot second.
Anthony Hollock (Mr. Hair) wow! is talent he came out dressed as a girl playing the trumpet (fame) then started singing... pushed away the band, took over playing/singing a song at the piano, freaked out... had band play again while he sang some more, had some crazy flips, and was just over the top amazing! his interview he spoke about how freeing it was to do the nudity in hair and it was his first broadway show and how he wasnt equity or anything when he waited for hours at an EPA and was able to be seen that got called back, and got the part and said it can happen. For the swim wear he started out with an american flag wrapped around and i was so afraid he was going to be nude... but thankfully he was not and i think his song was hair.
Then after they left there was some a performance by the previous two winners Frankie James Grande and Marty Thomas (with some help, one of which was Jacob Ben Widmar... spelling?) It was a cowboy themed number that included some tap dancing and a very glittery chest. It was funny and had lovely singing too. Then there was some filler time that got us a 42nd street tap dance from Beth Leavel because she still remembered it and did it in crazy high heels! Then Marty came back out in a super snazzy sparkly coat and sand a beautiful rendition of i will always love you that i regret not taking a video of! (seth was nodding in what i can assume excitement at him sounding so great.) then he had to do some filler while all the votes were being tallied. (which by the way you could have your vote counted as double or triple if you attached a ten or twenty to your ballot... you could buy this election!) this resulted in him sharing his i beat britney story and he sang the song he sang on star search with some very dramatic stage direction and narration... loved it!
then they announced the winner who was Mr. Hair! (well irst the runner up mr. little mermaid (i think) who raised the most money online) and marty sang a song while he was crowned... it was just a really awesome way to raise money for a really great organization! i am so going next year!
i also noticed my last post had a bolded paragraph and i was having technical difficulties trying to fix it... i failed! i also ate a TON of celery left over from when i made the soup... i love crunching celery so much!

Day 243/365 (April 18, 2009)
Fred was my best buddy today! he followed me everywhere i went and kept cuddling with me. I went to Path Mark and bought some much needed groceries and baking supplies. then i came home and napped. On the way i found a new 99 cent store that was all kinds of awesome.
