Day 335/365 (July 19, 2009)

What day was it? Altarholic Appreciation Day for us wonderful fans of Altar Boyz!!!!

the day began by krysta making my hair all curly and fun... too bad between my natural hair defenses (despite strong hairspray) and the weather almost all the curls had fallen out before i got off the subway! then i went and picked up Sasha's camera and headed over to NWS. i dropped off some of the baked goodies to the best box office staff and went downstairs to meet up with michelle and then everyone else when they got there. 

It was Michelle. Tim, Devon, Karolina, Mark, Diane, Her Friend, Nicole, and her family, and at the very end Lynette, Michelle, and Nicky. we had such a lovely time chatting we headed into the theater like 3 minutes before showtime! Lympus even came and hung for a bit and we ate the satan's balls i had made... they were a hit!

You know we had a bunch of seats in the front row and werent really sure where each of us was going to sit... i almost didnt sit in B112 because well i like to be more center but i ended up there because everyone else had already picked a seat... good thing i did sit there! The show itself was super fun especially with us holics in the house, and my one accidental loud snort that drew alot of attention... darn inside jokes with michelle! the best part of the show, in my opinion of course, was something about you. i am an altarholic i had made peace with the fact i would never get to be the something about you girl again no matter how much i wanted to for a freaking picture on stage. well the song started and all was normal, and then it gets to the moment that the person who plays matthew starts to walk off the stage towards which ever girl will be pulled... well imagine my surprise when michael was walking towards and looking at me... at first i was convinced that he was just looking at someone behind me, but then he got closer and there was no question and i started shaking my head no in total disbelief! well there should have been no disbelief and i was quite happy and excited... once i got over the my flip flop was slipping off and i almost tripped up the step moment. it was pretty nifty being sung to and hearing my friedns in the audience all excited and stuff... and seeing the guys up onstage singing from that point of view. Travis brushed by my knee when he was walking towards michael, and then when the others had begun standing up to sing too they were all smiles. when travis took out the camera to take the picture my first thought was i hope my hair looks ok, then i thought ooo the camera is pretty and purple and i want it... then travis walked me off stage... happiness was an understatement! i am am super happy the picture was sent so quickly to me, but i won't lie i am more than a little disappointed it is so blurry! but it is something!

after the show we hung in the theater until we were walked over to stage 2 where aa day fun was going down. we hung out, played with a random balloon, learned some sign language and performed it for each other. At one point when Michael DiMartino's friend came to teach us her parts she asked for someone to sing so we could practice and poor lynette had not realized mitch was in our group and had only seen ravi so she was like well we have one professional in our group and we were all like OOOOO poor mitch and she felt bad, it was pretty funny actually! then we all had a tiny bit of time together before we split up. Joey also came and found me to tell me that he loved the cookies... which made me very happy since i spent so much time making those stupid things!

then devon, grace, and i hung in TOL for a tiny bit before krysta came with tucker so devon could meet him... they snuggled, had a photo shoot, then devon rushed off to her bus and the rest of us went to subway and got some yum, then ate it across the way. i was recognized from my back by rob, lizzie, and that other girl... yep makes my head bigger when people spot me, hehe... so they joined us for a bit, then i helped krysta get a cab and i went to the courtyard to kill some time. i checked up on 7 hours worth of tweets, called my mom, and read some harry potter.

then i went to TOL and waited for diane to come out to celebrate her birthday. it was a lovely time chatting with everyone and ryan and jesse even came... after it got pretty late so grace (after joining us when her show finished) and i went home... we watched a dvd and stuff, then finally i went to bed!

i would also like to point out that i have now performed on three out of the five stages at NWS... stage 4 as fog girl, stage 5 for the battery's down, and stage 2 from this aa day... what will it take to get on stages 1 and 3?

Day 283/365 (May 28, 2009)

it says: "You have a potential urge and the ability for accomplishment"

so the day started with me waking up relatively early and feeling really down about the job thing, the last few weeks have been a sort of slow spiral and then the last few days i have been just a complete emotional plummet. things keep happening that give me temporary good times but they dont seem to be enough, and my throat was still killing me! peppermint is a life saver and i will miss my peppermint sticks when they are gone

then to make matters worse i started feeling really queasy and even though i had lunch at like 1 around 4 i could still taste the fluffernutter stuck in my throat it seemed and it was so disgusting! i wont be eating those for a while to come now!

anywho i got some happy news karolina asked if i would come with her to rock of ages since sadly karen couldnt make it. of course i jumped at the chance since i hadnt actually seen her in some time and i do enjoy the show.

emma has unfortunate timing and chooses to cuddle with me when i have to get up and go! anywho krysta came home and after the long day with tucker too we left, and i parted ways. i met karolina at ollies intending not to eat since i felt like vomiting but the food is so good so i had some edamame and chicken dumplings (YUM), and some of her chicken fried rice. then we headed to the theater. the show was even better this time and first time i saw the whole cast. karolina loved it and with the exception of the gigling fan girls in front, the girl giving lap dances in the box, and the most obnoxious theater goer i have encountered who did everything wrong except have a cell phone go off, including having a full dinner during the second act, it was just an awesome show.

anywho so we headed to stage door after and karolina got almost everyone in the cats, but the funniest moment (she will kill me for this but oh well) happened when she got her picture with james c. so it went a little something like this, though i am sure they are not exact quotes but they were pretty close to it, and he might go see it! (i am so good!)

James: is that a good show, should I go see it?
Me: yea, I've seen it 120 times
Him: really how about this can you make it a 121?
Me: we're working on that

anywho then we finally went our separate ways and i got home to find a wonderful youtube video that i spent 2 hours trying and failing to rip audio from

Day 225/365 (March 31, 2009)

i cant remember what i did the first part of the day but after getting this "i can has neighborhood watch" picture i eventually headed to midtown for something... and then went to hang with Sasha and Pip for a bit before heading over to Sardi's for The Battery's DOwn "party." I had no one to go with me so i wasnt going to go, but i wanted to and i am glad i did even though it wa sawkward being there all by my lonesome... but its fun to watch the episode with a bunch of other people that really like it as opposed to at home by yourself so it was all good in the end and i did get gutsy at one point and invited myself over into a table of people.
