Day 237/365 (March 11, 2015)

We got up early and had breakfast at the hotel and then walked to Universal. We had debated about getting an express pass but decided not to. Good call because we had amazing luck with lines and single rider lines and accomplished everything and then some on our to do list. It would have been a waste of our money. We hit both parks again... The Hogwarts Express is so awesome and we got wet on some fun water rides. We stayed at the park until closing and got dinner at a Pizza place. Then took a cab back to the hotel and crashed again... There was more Butterbeer and cinnabon action! I waited over 30 minutes to see the Gringotts dragon breathe fire! I also had something happen that made me feel so good... I was waiting to ride on the incredible hulk and the attendant made me switch places with this guy because he needed to sit in the larger seat and she looked t me and knew I could switch with him... no worries about rides! We also made our own version of the moving pictures like in the Harry Potter world. I also saw a live/puppet show of one of the Tales of Beetle the Bard (The Three Brothers) that was pretty neat. and I chuckled a bit when I walked past the Beetlejuice Revue because it made me think of Joey Fatone! I even got to participate in the Disaster movie as one of the evil henchman... I got foam brick dropped on my head!

Day 236/365 (March 10, 2015)

AHHHHHHHH I am so excited I don't even care that I got less than 2 hours of sleep and woke up at 2:30 am!

Karen and I took the subway to JFK and got ourselves checked in. Our flight ended early and we headed to the hotel to drop off our stuff and change... but first I bought a Ravenclaw t-shirt!

We made our way to Universal and went on a bunch of rides and enjoyed Butterbeer and exploring the amazing Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the gorgeous weather! Diagon Alley is incredible! So is Knockturn Alley! I also got many a compliment on my blue nails for Ravenclaw!

We ate lunch at the Three Broomsticks, had dinner at a great Mexican place and magic the whole thing was magic! We also got Frozen Yogurt at Menchie's because they were on Undercover Boss and it was yummy! Also got to eat Butterbeer ice cream from Florean's in Diagon Alley!

Then we headed back to the hotel where we finally checked in and crashed!

Day 235/365 (March 9, 2015)

I got up early for work... so much to do before I leave and so little time!

It was a full day at work then I headed home where I packed for the trip and I packed so lightly I was so proud of myself! Only 2 carry-ons and they had so much room in the second one! Then I failed to fall asleep until very late like almost 2 am! I also went on sugar overload and started watching the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt which is pretty funny!.Karen paid me back in cash... so many 100 dollar bills! They look so fake.

Day 234/365 (March 8, 2015)

The day didn't start with any real plans but turned out to be lovely! There was crazy crane activity causing craziness on our street.

I left my apartment to meet up with Coleen and some of her friends since she was in town. We got lunch at v{iv} then I ran some errands. I went to Old Navy and Michaels and Harmon. I did so much walking it was nice to be out and not feel frigid! I had a lovely chat with Philippe. Then watched TV with the roomies.

Day 233/365 (March 7, 2015)

What a lovely day! The day started by doing some laundry and looking for my shorts that I put away for the winter... sadly I did not find them! I ate frozen nutella, Then Lola arrived!

We spent quite a wonderful day together! We did art shows with the window markers, she got dressed up and we took a vote of boys vs. girls. The boy picture shows a boy thinking he is afraid a girl might kill him. Karen tried voting for boys and Lola peer pressured her into saying girls. She laid on my lap cuddling with me while watching a little My Little Ponies. She also played a game where she would put stuff on her head and I was supposed to be angry so I had to yell at her. It was very difficult because she was so funny so she kept telling to to "get all your laughs out Tamra and be serious"

We ended up meeting with Ellyn for a bit and got our nails done. I went with blue for Ravenclaw (even though the color isn't the right shade.) Lola was so funny when they put a warm towel on her hand at first she was like this is warm then she went AHHH. It was pretty cute! I got a mini shoulder massage and didn't realize how tense they were until it happened. When we were walking to Port Authority Lola ran past the scary people (good for her!) She also told me I was her best friend which melted my heart. On the bus she gave me a pretty accurate lesson on MLK Jr. and it ended with "its not what is on the outside that counts, it is your character that counts and my character is Lola!" B.T. was also at the nail place and I was a little embarassed when I took my coat off and I was wearing my Godspell hoodie.

Then I took her back to NJ to drop her off with her dad. I had to hang out for a bit while waiting for the next bus. I watched her do some chalk drawings and we danced around. Then I headed back into the city and went to Max and Liz's engagement party for a while. Then I headed home just enjoying the weather. Before I got home I popped over to meet up with Ellyn and give her back the stuff she gave to me... it was mid performance. I saw her for a second then she disappeared to finish singing a song then popped out... It was one of the funniest experiences I have had this year.

Then it was home because of the time an getting ready for bed.

Day 232/365 (March 6, 2015)

Started off with my Jenny appointment, then stupid MTA troubles, then off to work.

I went home and did some stuffed pepper prep work then headed off to training. Boy it really did a number on me! They have a mascot at the studio and he is always in a different place each time. Today he was hanging from the ceiling!

Charlie is so cute. The stuffed peppers turned out even better this time!

Day 231/365 (March 5, 2015)

Guess what? It is snowing again! I am not angry or bitter because I am looking forward to Florida next week! It is the little things!

I headed home after work and just watched TV to catch up on the DVR. I also accidentally took two tiny naps!  Fred and Charlie were so sweet sleeping together and Fred gave me good cuddles as I tried to fall asleep.
