Day 234/365 (March 8, 2015)
The day didn't start with any real plans but turned out to be lovely! There was crazy crane activity causing craziness on our street.
I left my apartment to meet up with Coleen and some of her friends since she was in town. We got lunch at v{iv} then I ran some errands. I went to Old Navy and Michaels and Harmon. I did so much walking it was nice to be out and not feel frigid! I had a lovely chat with Philippe. Then watched TV with the roomies.

Day 157/365 (December 21, 2014)
Today was so amazing and awesome and I just can't properly put into words how happy it made me!
It was an early morning start for my mega-bus journey to DC. The trip there was pretty quick and uneventful. When I got to Union Station in DC I asked a cop about walking to the theatre since it was only 1.2 miles away. I didn't know the area and if it was safe for walking like were there sidewalks or any sketchy parts. The police office told me it was safe during the day, but not at night and thought it was too far of a distance to walk. I was like it is nothing but thanks! I ended up at the theatre so much earlier than expected and discovered they had a freaking lotto! I could have saved tons of money but I mean it turned out to be a good thing since I had a front row seat and third row seat and if I hadn't had that front row seat my day would not have been as awesome as it had turned out!. After I picked up my tickets for the two shows I dropped off the cookies I brought for KDM with the stage door guy so he would get them before the show with a note. Then I went to the starbucks next door and ate a little something while waiting for the show to start. Eventually I changed into my nicer clothes and headed to the theatre.
It is such a large house and they let us in an hour early so I roamed the place and found a Pippin photo op spot. I had such mixed feelings about the show itself. SO many good things and bad things. Sasha Allen is terrible and anytime she things the tempo of the music is reduced greatly and I am not a fan of the guy playing Lewis. The acrobats were truly spectacular and did things I hadn't seen before. Cooper (the dog) is adorable though he didn't run out so KDM had to go over to him, then he laid down behind the thingies and held him up like Simba for the rest of the scene. It was pretty funny! The front row here was great because you didn't have to strain your neck and had full view of the show. I saw the moment when KDM noticed me because his guys got all big and then he mouthed to me at the beginning of "War is a Science"that the puppets were bigger. The end of the show was really cool. Since touring companies paint things backstage that aren't usually seen when the tent was "striked" and the backstage area was revealed you could see all of these various shows from the past and one of them was a tribute to Fosse when Sweet Charity was there and he passed away. It was incredible. Then the next greatest thing happened. During curtain call he mouthed to me and motioned to ask if I wanted to come backstage... um yes puh-lease!
After the show I made my way around to the stage door area and finally walked in when I saw him from afar. As I was going passed the SD guy he was like wait... and then handed me the cookies and the note. I couldn't believe he hadn't passed them along but at least I got to give them to him. It turned out he wasn't going to SD that day so if he hadn't have seen me he wouldn't have known I was there. Anyway we ended up running an errand and getting dinner. It was nice to have a chance to chat some place warm and not at a barricade. Then we headed back to the theatre area. He said he would come out to say bye to me after :) I was checking instagram and whoever runs Cooper's account is pretty funny and apologized for the mishap onstage and I was like its okay i will be back tonight and he was like there are ghosts i can't make promises. Starbucks was closed so I found a place called loco taco and ordered guacamole and sat down to charge my phone and read my book.
Finally made my way back to the theatre and saw the show again... Cooper did better but still not right, good thing he is cute! Then waited at SD and said bye before getting a cab and heading back to the station. Basically a perfect day!

Day 116/365 (November 10, 2014)
Got up super early to run a few errands before the funeral. Karen and I had to go pick up food from Michael's. go to Dunkin Donuts to get the coffee and munchkins, then drop off all of that to the church before heading to the funeral home.
The funeral was difficult and lots of tears were shed but it was a nice service even if the pastor kept singing. It was nice of the family to put aside their drama for a few hours and come together as one.
After the funeral we went to the church for the reception and the church lady that helped set everything up put me and Karen to work. I am pretty sure she ended up not liking me but whatever. I couldn't believe I was made to help serve everybody, this was as much for me as everyone else but she was a scary lady.
After it was all over we came back to my mom's and then people started coming over in droves to see Grandpa. I did have probably the longest conversation I have ever had with Grandpa at one point which was nice, and Tessa wanted to read me stories. It ended up being so loud and chaotic and Colson bit me. Luckily i had a sleeve protecting me or he would have broken the skin!
Eventually Karen and I said our goodbyes and went over to my Auntie Margaret's to get a good night's sleep before our early morning travels the next day, since neither of us had been sleeping well while in MA.

Day 53/365 (September 8, 2014)
The major theme of the day was baby (Cunneely) watch. Today was a busy one.... besides keeping an eye on my phone to see if little Cunneely had been born my day was so full!
I got up by 6:15 to make sure the girls were getting ready. I also took Penny outside to go potty, and made Dennis' lunch. I took Clare to school since she had to be there earlier than usual, came back and got Winnie and Dennis off to school. Then I took Penny for a walk, ot ready for the day, and worked for several hours before heading out to run errands. I hit up Trader Joe's, Target and Staples. Let me tell you the Target back to school section was a scary wasteland that should have had tumbleweed rolling through because it was so picked clean, an Staples was a disorganized scary mess. Luckily I found the notebook Clare wanted/needed. Then it was back to the house to play with Penny a bit before Dennis was dropped off and we headed out to get Clare.
When we came home I helped Dennis with his homework and then eventually started to prep dinner. I made a meatball sub bubble up, which was trader joe's biscuits cut into 1/8 pieces and mixed with marinara sauce, topped with frozen meatballs and fresh shredded mozzarella cheese. once I got it in the oven I headed off to pick Winnie up at school after her Field Hockey practice was over. Her practice ran late and then we had to go back to school after leaving because she had forgotten her backpack. When we got home dinner was ready and it was nice catching up on each others' day and then the girls had to finish their homework. Eventually it was time for Dennis to get to bed, then finally the girls. You know it is nice to know I am still capable of playing the role of "soccer mom" if I need to, and I enjoy it at times, but really I am grateful that I do not have to do this full time... it is so difficult and Paula does this on a daily basis, like so many other moms... strong work!
ps as of bedtime there was no news of Baby Cunneely making his appearance in the world... This child really knows how to get attention before he is even born, well played little one, well played!
I should also note I have been eating terribly this whole weekend and only feel mildly bad about it. Tonight, after several nights, and minor help from the cousins, i polished off the Trader Joe's Speculoos and Cookie Butter ice cream, that was quite tasty, ut not as tasty as I had been envisioning, which didn't stop me!

Day 364/365 (August 17, 2009)

What an exhausting and hot morning! i got up and headed to the cake store to buy the outrageously overpriced chocolate i need to make satan's balls. the customer service at that store is so bad. i asked a simple question and when they finally answered it they did so in a way that gave off a "why are you asking me this question you stupid moron" type of vibe. then i came back tot he apartment and grabbed my laundry. i brought it home and put it away, helped unsuccessfully to find emma and got milk up and through my nose. emma is missing from our apartment. this means she left through one of the open (barred) windows. there is thankfully no kitty splat on the ground under any of the windows but i am extremely worried because she isnt exactly an adventurous cat and she must be terrified right now because she is missing us and has no way of getting back home. krysta has gone to check with the shelters to see if she is there, so i emailed her pictures of emma. good thing i take obsessive amounts of pictures of the animals in my life!
i am also just hanging with the puppy for a little while before i eventually end up at sashas before i get up early tomorrow morning.
the next errand i ran was to sashas to drop off as much of my stuff as possible and then after cooling down for a bit with the help of her AC and chatting i finally headed back to kims. i am now finishing up laundry and got a phone call from "my" temp agency. it seems they avent forgotten about me and are trying to set up an interview for me.
Even though i wanted nothing more than to be done with my 365 project when i was one picture away (this one) from completing it i waited until after midnight to snap a picture of the glorious washer and drier that has been so good to me! (seriously i spent close to 6 hours (or maybe even more) working on this project and i cant wait for everyone to see it! this picture may not be the highest quality it could have been but i needed it to fit the project just right, and this will do it! This also means that even though i had a full day of busy activities and would like to add another picture i cannot do that, so we will live with this! i am also very saddened because when i printed my 365 project i found a mistake i made on it and one picture is covering me :( on the first picture in my 365 blog! but i mean when you look at it the liklihood of anyone noticing this problem is very slim unless you are me and know about it (and well you just read this though i still suspect you might have a hard time spotting the mistake... i am just so infuriated by it and i could have fixed it and printed again but for such a tiny thing it would have been a waste of ink and photo paper although now that i think about it maybe it would not have been because i could have framed it because the mre i think about it the more i think that would be cool to do... hmm... but i cant reprint it in time now and if i am sure i wont allow myself to reprint another one that is fixed because it would not be the same one that was used in the end... DARN MY OCD!!!!

Day 345/365 (July 29, 2009)
i ran a few errands using ted's car... so nice to drive sometimes. i also discovered the amazingness of WHITE balsamic vinegar... mixed with a little salt and avocados was just like a burst of sunshine in my mouth!i went to the SPF show departed lounge and it was pretty good. It shared similar elements with another show though and i was like hmm... interesting! i had only known one person who was going to be in it (nick Blaemire) and was shocked when it began and i doscovered two other people i have seen in other shows (doug kreeger from rooms and Johnathon b. wright from spring awakening).
after it was over i met up with sasha again and picked up pip to bring him home for the puppy sitting adventure to begin. after the mishap that took place the last time pip ws here we knew that tucker and pip couldnt ee each other until the morning or we would get no sleep. our plan worked for the most part... and well pip learned how to get up on my ginourmous bed pretty quickly and i made him a cute little bed... he has his little bed at sasha's which is her dirty laundry pile and since all my laundry was clean (oh yea did laundry at paula's) i took my laundry bag and placed a big bag filled with squishy stuff in it, then put a clean towel over the top so he wasnt directly on the bag... and he likes to lie in it when he isnt cuddling up with me.
i also read more of harry potter and woke up in the morning after having a crazy dream!
so i realize that the facts of my dream are wrong but it is a dream so basically i was in this really tall building (basic rectangular shape) on one of the top floors and something happened and the building started to tip over! well as it did it fell against the steeple of st. patricks cathedral and the top part fell off and spun slowly to the ground... it landed and every climbed out safely through the window and we saw the rest of the building propped up against the steeple and the officils decided the only way to fix the problem was to push down the steeple so the rest of the building could fall... well they didnt push it in the right direction and all of a sudden all of the buildings in manhattan were falling down like dominoes and they said every had three minutes to get off the island or else a building would fall on them, well miraculously i got to the bottom of our island (which instead of SI ferry there was a foot bridge for us to all cross) and well everyone was rushing to get off the island i looked down and saw on the beach a dead lobster so i went to go look and saw another live lobster and went to pick it up and it clung to my hand and as i was waiving to get it off i noticed a dog being chased by a shark in the water. and i was frightened for the dog but he got up on the beach safely and the shark followed trying to get him but then he got stuck on the beach and i woke up... weird huh?

Day 289/365 (June 3, 2009)

this was how i found emma when i woke up for reals this morning. Before i fell asleep emma did the cutest thing, she came up along side my body, flung herself onto me, curled her head on my arm, and then wound her body down the rest of my arm, then purred like crazy while i pet her. i kept waking up in the middle of the night and i guess this morning i finally had my share of joni mitchell... i am sorry but i dont think her voice is all that great and dont understand the attraction people seem to have for her music.
i left the apartment and met up with krysta to drop off tucker, then i headed for some cake related errands. i found some great things and bought supplies at home depot... how hardcore is that? anywho i also brainstormed another idea i might do instead of using the black and white cookie. i also got glitter gel and it looks so cool but since i got special sugar i am afraid it might not show up, or it might drip... oh well, i look forward to this challenge!
it began to rain and i was getting soaked so i was glad to get home and change into dry clothes and am now wasting the night away!

Day 287/365 (June 1, 2009)
i went out on an errand with tucker for krysta. it was so frustrating because tucker just flat out was not cooperating in the walking department and i had to carry him most of the way. anywho i finally found the drop box i needed because krysta had given me the address it was by. so when i couldnt find it i went in the building who had the address she gave and CARRIED tucker. well anywho i asked the security guy if he knew where the ups drop box was and he told me it was right over there by the other security guard. (about twenty five feet away). anywho i told him thankyou and he said but you cant go there because no dogs are allowed in the building, then asked if i had someone else who could go drop it off for me, and i was like no it is just me and him and i am carrying him, cant i just drop it off? he once again said there are no dogs allowed in this building and i was like well i am going over there now pretend you dnt see him and he was protesting to the other guard like i told her no dogs and he looked like she just is trying to drop off a package, no big deal! really that guy was one stupid person.on the way home i finally stopped and bought fruit from the street guy and got so much yum! i mean look at those cherries and peaches! i even bought a super yummy tomato and a fresh avocado to eat. i came home and ate the tomato and avocado, two peaches, and like half a pound of cherries!
anywho mark had called and said he was coming into the city to try avenue q lotto, and i said i would come meet him and help. krysta asked if i could bring tucker then and she would help, so i did. i ended up being the first name called and well afraid my lotto luck is maxed out right now. then mark and i headed to next to normal to try and buy tickets for him, michelle, and i think nicole... but there lady there wasnt so cool so we failed. then we got some yummy chinese food. since i had sweet and sour chicken not too long ago i got chicken and broccoli... i really LOVE broccoli!
then we hung in the courtyard until he went to the show. i headed home and watched part of i'm a celebrity get me out of here... i can sense this will be a new guilty pleasure! then i went back out and met him at TOL for some open mic night. we stayed for a while and had fun and i was skeeved out at one point and also made really happy by something mark had done for me... yay!
i missed kate pazakis' cd release party which made me really sad, but i just couldnt spend the money on it... i am getting more careful with the use of my money... and yea i know it totally ricked and had a great turnout and thankfully sasha didnt end up being there by herself.
also on my way to meet mark after Q let out i had a showdown with a rat... i was brave and stood my ground... the subway people cheered me on!

Day 204/365 (March 10, 2009)

bag my ballet slippers came in
This was quite the day! I had decided i had lots of stuff i needed to do and after taking care of job hunting i set out on my errands for the day. This is the first time i spent lots of time doing errands. Although the weather wasn't technically "a beautiful day" i still left the house with nothing but a hoodie and it was good for me!
My exit began with some door troubles, no idea what happened but it decided that it didnt want to shut so after fighting with it for like 5 minutes i won and went on my way. The plan for the day was get stuff i needed to be able to take the ballet class i want to take and look for stuff for Texas. I headed to 34th street to get athletic wear and sunglasses. I looked in K-Mart and then went to old navy. Nothing worked at Old Navy (and i didnt even find any shirts for texas but that is why sasha and i are going out wednesday), so i went back to K-mart since i saw some there. In between i stopped in H&M hoping to find some sunglasses, but i will grab some cash and look on NYC streets some point soon. I also went to Bank of America to get my temporary debit card. Lucky for them i was in no rush since i ended up waiting 45 minutes for something that was finished in 5 minutes once a person saw me.
i got a chance to catch up on the phone with Mark as i walked.
then i walked over to Broadway Dance Center on 45th to get my photo taken for the ID card i need... sadly no one was at the kiosk so i couldn't do that but i got a feel for the place and asked some questions i had to an actual human and got answers that made me excited and feel better. Then i headed over to Sasha's and was greeted by Matthew and Pip, who he likes to call Nibs. It was nice having the pit stop there and chatting, sadly matthew wasn't feeling so well so he went to go for a long nap and i left before he woke up. Finally i had to leave to get to the Capezio store before it closed. I found the ballet shoes i needed for a very reasonable price and made my way out.
I decided to walk up to columbus circle and go to the Whole Foods there and ended up buying asparagus (asparagoose) and pizza supplies. The line was soooooo very long! but worth it. As i was walking to the store i gave Zina a call on the phone and ended up talking to her for almost an hour as i went on my crazy cheese hunt in the store and waited in line and then went outside. FInally i decided i didnt want to get off the phone and was sick of walking around columbus circle so i just walked to the 72nd street station while talking. and let me tell you it was a much needed talk. i have been having random really depressed moments lately and talking to her really helped, i cant wait for the cold to go away so we can hang out again (she doesnt come into the city when it is cold).
then i came home and made another real dinner of yummy pizza with onions and ate my beloved asparagoose! I finally went to watch Tv and we record Law & Order: SVU every week, and if i am home i usually watch it but today i decided i was going to watch without a trace... well as i was doing that i was checking facebook statuses and saw about 6 people with ones saying Gallagher was on the episode of L&O, and i had gotten a twitter from devon saying the same thing. So as soon as WAT was over i put on L&O. i was excited he had a large part on the show this time and well as yo may know i tend to be a little psychotic when i am watching tv shows and movies... i like violence, and i love bad guys, and i i love to see people cry! poor krysta had to deal with my craziness! he did such an amazing acting job on the show but i kept thinking gallagher! So before i knew who his character was i was hoping he would be the murderer and he finally was! at one point his character was being interviewed by the psychiatrist and he got upset and i started yelling push him push him, and then he did and he feel to the ground and his character picked up a chair to hit him with it and i was screaming yes! the whole time causing krysta to die of laughter! later on he had a dramatic scene and ended up crying and i was like yes crying, and i got to see him dragged away in handcuffs... i dont know why i like to see the bad guys (though his character wasnt actually a bad guy but still) dragged off in cuffs and crying, and why i like so much violence (i like to call drama) but i do!) then instead of going to bed i stayed up way late playing online, writing this, ordering a leotard, and reading Devon's recently updated photo blog.
At one point while watching Without A Trace i stumbled upon someone's blog that had a really funny post that made smile, laugh, and be a little sad all at the same time, but it was a great read!
Krysta and i also decided it was time to throw out our High School Musical shower curtain because it was falling off its HSM hooks by ripping, so now we replaced it with a super cute duck one that i really like, but i miss HSM and it will take some getting used to! At least our bathroom is now primarily blue and not pink.
