Day 275/365 (May 20, 2009)

the day began with a rough start because of troubles falling asleep the night before and tuckers barking waking me up.. then i couldn't even sleep after to catch up because i had decided to volunteer at the NYMF offices for a few hours. (side note i also really love having time to be all snugly with emma in the morning when i wake up before getting out of bed.)

you know you would think doing basic data entry is boring and not something to look forward to, but when i haven't been doing anything in the past few months that gave me a sense of purpose or that i was being useful it was just really good. the time actually flew by much faster than i thought it would! it was also kind of cool because well at one point there ended up being like 4 of us and we all started talking theater... and it wasn't a "oh we have a theater question so lets go ask Tamra because she is crazy" conversation... it was a "these people genuinely love and appreciate theatre as much as i do and can have a worthwhile conversation about it without making me feel like a crazy fool because we share the same passion" type of thing.

anywho because tucker was in his crate the whole time i was gone i knew he would have some energy to burn off, as well as go potty. we ended up taking a good walk around out blok and at one point i guess he got "all tuckered out" (nope it will never get old) and just dropped to the ground to lay for a bit. finally he got up again and we went on in. he even knows what building is ours because as soon as he got to it he led me up the first few steps on his own!

anywho the rest of the night was spent watching tv, and getting myself ready for my new rochelle trip which might be one night, or it might be three...

i watched the season finale of american idol (only episode i have ever watched of that show except for season 2, and the first couple of season 3 when i lost interest.) it was pretty boring and i ended up switching to Criminal minds of my dvr once enough was recorded i could watch without commercials... though i did switch over to see the announcement of who won in real time. criminal minds was quite good and the end had me all ahhhhh i dont want to wait! (job well done.)

Day 264/365 (May 9. 2009)

this was kind of a day i just needed really badly. I had so much fun during the week but i was just on the go ya know?  well after we all woke up (yay for my first dose of real sleep in a while, and sending dawn on her way back home sadly) i ate a little "breakfast" with ewa before giving her directions and sending her on her way. then i spent some time relaxing before i headed over to the Trump Tower apartments on the East Side. It was a trek but so worth it!

I was the first to arrive at Hope's boss' apartment and we hung for a bit while playing with Erin's Wii. I still felt like my right arm was missing without having my camera to take a picture of the amazing view! We played some American Idol KAraoke Revolution, then played Smarty Pants for a bit... i dont like that game! Eventually Emily arrived, and with my supplies she was able to add her final touch to the thesis cake she made Megan... i ended up with that colorful tongue because of it... i call it tongue art.

Megan arrived an then Erin came... Hope ordered pizza, i brought pretzles, and chips and salsa, megan brought soda and stuff and then the fun began! i ate sooooo much stuff and had sooooo much fun playing karaoke idol for quite a few hours! eventually we finished it up by watching the last half hour of the traitor justin timberlake hosting SNL which i didnt find funny at all, but i was with my friends so i didnt mind.

then i walked all the way across the island practically to the subway and went home and slept. i was very happy ewa didnt mind me staying with my friends instead of meeting her right after she saw 9 to 5... she is a good cousin!
