Day 238/365 (March 12, 2015)

We got up early once again and this time poor Karen couldn't walk as quickly as the day before so it took a bit longer but that was fine. We knocked out some great rides and met up with Lindz who came to visit! We did more exploring, I dance with minions, ate more cinnabon, drank more butterbeer and got ice cream. Thanks to Lindz' pro tip we saw Kreacher peeking out of Number 12 Grimauld Place! She helped Karen and I get a video of us disappearing into Platform 9 3/4. Eventually we realized we had nothing left to do in the park so we hung out for a bit then she drove us back to our hotel. Karen promptly fell asleep and I tried to rest but got cabin fever so I went out for a walk. Turns out we were by a whole bunch of places and I found another Undercover Boss business! Eventually I went back to the hotel and convince Karen to eat at the Titled Kilt... the food was pretty good and the waitresses were very friendly. They even sang So Long, Farewell to us as were were leaving.. Also after yesterday's 30+ minute wait to get a video/picture of the Gringotts dragon breathing fire I had it easier today! I took a my last butterbeer (for now) picture is all gone sad face.

Then it was back to the hotel to sleep before having to leave :(

Day 14/365 (July 31, 2014)

I wanted to rush Pippin today but when I woke up at the original planned time I decided I was too tired and was going to skip it, however after another 45 minutes of sleep I figured I might as well head over, and so glad I did! When I got there I met these two lovely girls and a woman that were so fun to chat with. While waiting for the box office to open they brought and installed that new poster above.

Then I went to work. I had planned on going to the softball games in central park but sadly couldn't make it because a whole bunch of stuff popped up, so when I finally left at 4 I couldn't wait to get home and just veg out for a bit. I ended up napping on the couch which was much needed for my soul.

Later in the night I found out that Ariana DeBose was going on as Leading Player in Pippin. I had been so crushed to miss her debut as LP on Saturday so this was pretty much the best news ever! Seeing her as LP was amazing. It was the first time I saw the show and actually liked the LP part. She made the part her own and sounded fabulous... can we have her take over already? I was also glad to see Orion back. The other guy did a decent job but he was just so massive... a giant and his sheer size made him draw focus from everyone else. I also am not a big fan of Priscilla Lopez as Berthe. She was a scary grandma... I miss the lovable Annie Potts. It was nice checking in with the gals from the morning who seemed to enjoy the show very much and there was this adorable 6 year old I met after that made my heart burst she was so cute. She told me that every day she has to wear something pink or that says Princess, and she was wearing a pink zipped hoodie that had a crown built in... if she changed it to purple she would have been me!

Sasha has been making these wonderful flowers out of Playbills and made a Pippin/Wicked bouquet for me to give to Kyle Dean. I made a Pippin themed vase for the flowers to go in and gave them to him last night.

Then I came home and chatted with Lindz for a little while before going to bed since it was her last night staying with us... gonna miss her!

Day 12/365 (July 29, 2014)

After work I went to help Lindz out with the Kinky Boots lottery, and Penski came to help... good thing too because her name was called! Then Lindz walked with me over to the Broadway Theatre stage door so I could make a "first night cookie delivery" to Neil in CInderella. The stage door is right across the street from the Letterman stage door and Chris Pratt was out there taking pictures with fans. I didn't really know who he was but he was cute and it was pretty easy to get a pic, so I did. I IMDBed him after... I had seen him in Bride Wars and Moneyball... but still fun.

Then I came home and did laundry and made dinner and cleaned some stuff off the DVR.

Day 11/365 (July 28, 2014)

It was a long day! I got up early to pick Lindz up from JFK. Driving to the airport at the hour wasn't the smartest but it was fun. I did end up driving for 3.5 hours before getting to work and only having gone like 34 miles. Then i went to work where I ended up staying far too late and thankfully Travis was able to push back our session since I would have missed it otherwise.

Training was good except I felt so out of shape and didn't function at my usual capacity. AFterwards I came home and baked some cinderella themed M&M cookies, showered, and then headed out to meet CHris. He was in town to see Heathers and then we just walked around midtown for a while. As were were walking this drunk couple came up to us and asked us if we were dating. We said no, and the guy was like but you look so good together you should be dating. He then asked if he could take a picture of us with my phone and we were like no, then he was like could you take a picture of us with your phone. We did then ditched them... so see the crazy people above from somewhere I think may have been the corner of 47th and 9th.
