Day 329/365 (June 11, 2015)

Oh my gosh the morning was crazy! Ted had a bee in his bonnet or something but he kept asking me for different things like every 5 seconds so it was hard to put the information together with constant distractions. Then an old co-worker came in and it was nice to see him, but then I ran off for Softball.

I watched part of Curious Incident vs. Kinky Boots because I chatted with some familiar faces, then went over to watch the Les Miz vs. whoever they played game. Poor Penski wasn't feeling well so she wasn't playing so I got to chat with her which was nice, but OMG it was so hot, sweat was dripping down my legs where they were crossed and I was in the shade!

After the game ended I puttered in the park a bit waiting for the next game to start. Went to watch Davenport vs. I don't remember who. The girl from last week (Megan) was also there to watch so we chatted. The game was close and they had to have an extra inning before they thankfully won!

Then I went home and laid down because the heat was so overwhelming, I don't know how they all survived playing the heat!

Then i went out because there was a "Something Rotten" event at the Renaissance Hotel that was a complete sham/waste of my time. It was not a cast performance but the staff of the hotel performing the opening song with choreography and lip syncing. The good news was I found out I was seeing Something Rotten that night while there so I guess it wasn't too bad!

Got home again and showered then met up with Anna and Holly to kill some time before I met up with Neil to see Something Rotten. We were so close but I think of the front row seats A 103/104 are probably the best because of the shape of the stage. After seeing the show a second time I definitely do love it. so so much! I also finally had a moment of Christian Borle really does have incredible arms.

After the show Neil and I headed to Smith's Bar for a bit. Hadn't been in since it reopened. It was pretty nice until the very and because a live band started laying so it was hard to hear. All in all it was a lovely evening and I am so happy it worked out that way!

Day 322/365 (June 4, 2015)

went into work very briefly then I headed up to Central Park. I wanted to watch Penski play softball since her Les Mi team was playing her old Kinky Boots (Kinky Bats) team. It was beautiful out and they won... so woo for that! The old Wicked SD guy is on the kinky Boots team and when he saw me we chatted for a bit... apparently he is now a police officer, good for him!

Then because I was already in the park I figured I might as well go watch the Davenport team play. When I got there they asked me if I wanted to play... so I said yes... they needed a second girl or they couldn't play. I warned them that I am not good at sports but they were very encouraging :) Neil and someone named Simon gave me some quick lessons and got some tips from someone else who was nice enough to take a few pictures for me... I ended up playing catcher and I didn't completely suck! I somehow managed to hit the ball all 4 times and even got two runs batted in and I did make it first base one other time, the other time i was out before I got there but whatever i felt pretty jazzed by the whole thing and the umpire was very helpful to me as was the other people playing...  who knew sports could be so fun? We even won 15-0 against Aladdin. Then home i went to wait for Raphael. He finally came and now our tubs drain wonderfully!

Then I went to the evil cookie place and eventually helped Sasha with more of her flowers. Charlie ended up wearing the flower parts and poor fred was trying to lie on them.

Day 276/365 (April 19, 2015)

I had this realization that I didn't think Sasha would be able to finish the playbill flower order in time so I stepped up my helping game. I spent the entire morning working diligently on them. I even skipped going to see The Spring Standards to devote more time to it. Lola was supposed to come over but we had to change that. Marty even came over to help but I only got to see him for a tiny bit before getting ready for Ravi's party.

I learned when I was already on the way the party wasn't actually beginning until 6:30.. it was bingo from 5-6:30. I had no interest so I puttered around the area and got dinner... then headed out. I was stupid and wallet was open and i lost $65 and an $8 metro card... needless to say I was pretty bummed and upset. I just hope whoever found it really needed the money. I put on a happy face and went to the party. I ended up having a really good time, and it helped pick up my spirits.. Neil and Heather told me about a new app called Shout so I am trying that out. Ravi loved my reece's pieces blondies and so did everyone else. It was nice to see Travis outside the walls of Studio 26 and he even got me a drink (as a friend not as a trainer) So many people that remember me that i didn't remember them, and I met a new friend that was very nice and we chatted for a long time. Diane finally arrived as I was getting ready to leave so I stayed for a touch longer then said my goodbyes and headed back home to help with the Playbill flowers.

Day 268/365 (April 11, 2015)

I started my morning by trying to go for a run on an empty stomach at Travis' suggestion. I did better than I thought I would so that was a win! Then I ended up calling Zina because I needed advice about something. She was of course very helpful, but it was so nice out that I didn't want to go back inside so at one point i was standing outside my apartment talking to her using my headphones on this little pillar thing and I turned around and found that some guy was filming me on his iPhone. I think he thought I was talking to myself and a was a crazy lady.

I did go inside eventually and began my baking for the day. First I made sugar cookie dough and put that in the refrigerator to chill. I also tried making raspberry macarons that turned out to be a major fail which is so sad because the few that did turn out tasted really yummy! Then I began making the filling for Grapefruit truffles. Avi came over and we had a brief pow wow session about the bachelorette party for Jess.

Harper's dad came to drop her off and we had some fun times... I hadn't seen her since last year so I was so happy to watch her. Charlie was actually pretty relax with her for the most part and Fred really did earn the best cat in the word title for putting up with her She kept hugging him and having us dress him up and hiding an Easter egg under him. She brought over plastic Easter eggs so we could have a hunt and then after we decided to go to the playground in Central Park. It turns out her current phrase is "you can say that again" so she was saying that over and over and she is just so sweet and loves to giggle. When we got in the park and she was walking down the path she spread her arms and started to run and was yelling "I cant believe i'm doing this!" Then she is cray on the playground... there is no stopping her! I learned i can still crawl into tiny spaces and climb stuff with the best of them... Then we climbed this giant rock and when we got to the top I asked her she wanted to put her hair back and she said yes... so I put it into a cute ponytail and she felt it and said that it "wasn't high enough and not tight enough, could I please fix it" so as I was trying to do this I was having a hard time keeping it neat and didn't want to hurt her by pulling her hair so i told her and she was like "its okay i'm used to getting hurt" and this lady over heard and started laughing and saying she was adorable.AT one point we pretended to go to Mexico, she even drove us "the 3 blocks to the airport" Poor Karen was left behind though. Then it was time to head back home and on our way we ran into Neil and his girlfriend (and her mom). we chatted for a tiny bit then it was back on the way home. Harper told me that sh was "besties with Laura Osnes" and i burst out laughing because of the random amazingness of it. Then her mom came to pick her up and she was sad to leave which is always the mark of a good day! Oh also on the way there at one point she was riding on my shoulders and she said I was doing a good job because I was giving her a "good view of the city"

After Harper left I rolled out the sugar cookies using my new rolling pin that is amazing! This is the first time i was completely successful in the rolled cookie department and I thank my rolling pin! All the while Karen was making dinner... it was so neat to be able to realize two people can cook in the kitchen and we had the space for it! Then I ate Karen's yummy dinner and finally dipped the truffes in the chocolate and decorated them. When Karen went to clean her room she found Charlie had burrowed into her clothes... pretty funny!

Then a quick shower and off to Sydney's birthday party. It was a lovely time and I discovered that hard cider makes me intoxicated very quickly! Hung out for a long while then it was time to go to bed!

Day 257/365 (March 31, 2015)

My day was all over the place! I went to work as normal but left to go to 30 Rock to attempt to get a better picture with Nico. It was a fail but while I was there I got distracted by adorable puppies just chilling, ran into Lenny, and Taylor. However before I did all that when I got there I was trying to figure out where to wait and I saw someone from the day before so I was like I am in the right spot and was pleased and she was so rude/mean to me. She was like I don't know if this is the right spot I am just waiting here because of my ankle. Then a few moments later she turned to the person she was with and was like let's go inside to get a salad. I figured she was just ditching me but whatever. I waited outside a bit more before deciding to go in and sure enough there she was! I am sorry but what a wiotch! I wasn't trying to be friends with you or talk to you, I was just making an observation. Also I saw how you behaved when you found out you missed Hilary Duff. Not cool. Yes I wanted a picture with him but I wouldn't have chased him. Anyway it turns out she is friends with Taylor since they do the celebrity photo thing often so then she was sort of forced to chat with and be nice to me. She isn't a mean person but still that wasn't cool and it turns out she is a "pro" at this sort of thing and that means she lied to my face just because... honestly whatever! I also got stuck on the phone for over 30 minutes with our HR rep because she likes to talk way too much... oof!

Then back to work for a bit before heading to Trader Joe's. I thought it was going to be a basic night in but Jo Ann ended up having two comp tickets to The Visit. I asked Neil if he wanted to join and he said sure, Jo Ann came over for a bit and we had a nice chat until it was almost show time and she had to head home. I met up with Neil and we mad our way to The Lyceum. It was an interesting show and I just wanted it to end after the first 56 minutes. It got to one point where in my head I just kept chanting Kill Him Kill Him KILL HIM ALREADY!!!! after the show we went to The House of Brews for a bit then I went home and had dinner... oops!

Also you can see Charlie decided to sit on my face.

Day 159/365 (December 23, 2014)

Busy busy day! I worked remotely for part of it... got help/distracted by Fred and Charlie, and spent the majority of the day baking.

Neil had hired me to make cupcakes and cake balls for his last day with cinderella that said "Later nerds" So that is what I spent the day doing, then I met up with him to drop them off and headed out to MA for Christmas.

It took over an hour to get out of the city traffic was so bad and my average speed was 9 MPH! AT one point i got to do 25 and felt like i was speeding... rough! Once i got out of the city it was basically smooth traveling.

Day 140/365 (December 4, 2014)

I made an impromptu box out of card stock in the morning to deliver some of the cupcakes/cake balls to Neil, then off to work for a bit. I passed the Rockefeller tree on my way to deliver the cupcakes to Neil at Cinderella. Then I failed at getting a cabaret playbill and popped into Gristedes to get oats since I was going to bake cookies with Sophon later. Instead we ended up going to dinner (with Karen) at Becco's across the street. I was bad and got unlimited pasta and a Bellini. One of the pasta dishes was the best gnocchi i have ever had, it melted in my mouth and if I could have, i would have eaten my weight in them. It is just so nice seeing Sophon, she is so fun then we went back to the apartment and hung out for a bit before she had to leave. While I was waiting for Sophon to arrive Fred put me to bed so we could cuddle for a while, charlie was just passed out and I found a Gavin Lee White Collar photo that was fun. I love when my Broadway Love crosses over into my other loves.

Finally the night ended by watching the NBC broadcast of Peter Pan Live... I just didn't watch it live. They did a really great job and it was so fun to see so many familiar faces on it!

Day 135/365 (November 29, 2014)

The day was just most delightful! Lola came over and we had fun playing. She built a rocket ship out of a box and we went to space. She is getting so good at writing her letters and is quite artistic. Though she gave me a hard time when I apparently cut something I wasn't supposed to and she was like "i know you didn't mean to hurt me tamra." After she left I thought was going to have dinner and watch some TV before heading back down to Rockwood to see Gallagher play an acoustic set with Hope... however that all changed! Thankfully Hope understands things like this.

Neil texted saying he was going on as the fox in Cinderella and I needed to go so badly! I don't have a student ID and I didn't think they did rush anyway on a Saturday. I headed to the box office and they were all sold out of the discount tickets and the lady was like but I have some student rush left... womp womp!

I left the BO and was searching my phone trying to find someone who might be in the city and have an ID to help when Todd Buonopone passed by. He said hi and tried to help... then I gave up and went home sad that I couldn't go. Then I was texting with Zach and he was like have you tried Brian... Had no clue that he was in the city... i tried him and success! I met up with him and Kristen and we walked over and got a ticket... happiness to the extreme! Then I went back home and had dinner and went back to the theater... yep i went to the Broadway theatre 3 times in 2.5 hours. The show is just so cute and sweet and he was quite wonderful as the fox.

I love BC/EFA collection time... woot palace guard! Then i went backstage (it felt hip to have my name on the list) and waited for him with his friend Teddy...  and saw Todd for a moment. Then when he came we took a stage photo and I met Keke and Nene. Then the three of us went out and got some drinks. We ended up at Bourbon and there was Frankie J. G. I ended up having a shot of tequila and well not the smartest move. thankfully i lived super close!

Day 104/365 (October 29, 2014)

After only 2 hours of sleep both Ally and I woke up to rush Pippin for Kyle Dean's last day as Pippin on Broadway. We got there way too early, but once again we wanted to be safe not sorry. It is a good thing we were first in line because they only had two front row seats left for the evening show. It was worth it. We played Disney trivia in line and her friends got there later, but they had to study for their mid-terms... yuck! I ended up with the one front row seat I hadn't sat in yet AA112! Had to do my sad face rush pose in front of his poster before it went away.

Then i rushed home and did a quick change and headed to work for a few hours. I dropped some of the smores off at Cinderella for Neil and I came home to have lunch, shower, and change and when I got there I found mail from Whitney which was a super cute cupcake necklace and a unicorn for cats... so naturally I took a picture of Fred wearing it. I tried for charlie but he did not cooperate. Then it was off to the matinee. The show itself was wonderful and I loved my seat J1 but man oh man the audience was terribly rude! there was a high school group there and they kept talking and making oOo noises at things and especially during the shirtless/cage seen they were so rowdy and cat calling him and whistling an it was embarrassing me highly I do not know how Kyle Dean (and the others) kept it together like nothing was happening, and then when he was putting his shirt back on some were yelling to keep it off. and later in Act Two the Bolero seen when they were under the covers it was rough! The people all around me were talking loudly, and at one point when KDM is in the audience at the beginning of the duck scene as he was walking off an older man in front of me yelled run away she is trouble, and KDM made the funniest look as he was trying to remain in character and turn around for his next line. Also during intermission I spied Mark by where I was sitting and I didn't realize just how much his sudden dropping me s a friend had affected me until I saw him and it made me extremely unhappy and angry that he was even there. didn't he like move to Florida or something... why not stay away, jerk! I can't help it that you are behaving like a big old baby when you are more than 20 years older than I am. Any way it had been really nice out on the way there so I didn't have a coat but by the time the show ended it was freezing, but since this was his last day I was waiting at Stage Door and Mark was only a few feet from me and we did not acknowledge each other's presence. I kept debating about if I should or not but for a while I couldn't bring myself to be the bigger person. It became apparent after a while that no one, even KDM, would be coming out but I am so competitive and Mark made me so angry that I din't want to let him "win" by giving up and leaving first, despite how freaking cold I was. I waited for at least 45 minutes to an hour and finally only caved because I needed to go to the bathroom pretty badly. On the way by thoughj i did say Bye Mark, he begrudgingly said bye back.

I came home and warmed up and had dinner before heading out for KDM's last show. I liked sitting in that seat and the show itself once again was really good but once again another rude audience. This time there were 3 people in the front row on the other side that turned out to be friends of one of the acrobats. They were drunk and yelling during the show, like repeating lines and waving arms like at a concert and it wasn't until the very end an usher came and told them to stop... it should have been sooner! Once again not sure how the cast stayed in character, true professionals, especially the little boys who played theo who didn't let the talking stop them from their moment at the end of the show and stayed on key and everything.

KDM got extra applause/love after extraordinary and that made me happy. Ally decided to wear her Pippin costume for pictures and I must say, despite my concern over the color not being right more than one cast member, KDM included, said "the color was spot on" so I did a really good job! Mike even said he asked the wardrobe department about the shirt because a friend really liked it and I guess in the show they buy a really expensive designer one to dye and here she was with a $6 one I dyed correctly that fit and looked the same... so I win! While at the stage door Mark and I once again kept our distance and I ran onto that Producer guy from last week who is a character and was bedazzled. He was pretty intense but amusing to speak with and quite eccentric. The only time he really bothered me was when KDM came out and I wanted to speak with him by myself, and I gave him personal space to chat with KDM, then when he kept trying to come talk to me he just didn't want to let go and KDM and I kept giving each other looks like okay let's wrap this up. When we finally got to chat he sang "so anyway I'm leaving" from n2n and i was like knife to the heart dude! we chatted for just a bit because I knew he was busy and others were still waiting but I said I would come see him on tour and we said goodbye and had him sign my playbill. I can't lie about how he makes my heart happy, especially when he calls me doll and when he keeps up the tradition of writing love you on playbills form his final shows. Then he moved on tot he next set of people and I chatted with this girl I had met earlier in the day from Mexico for a while. She was nice, then I chatted with Ally and the twins for a while before finally heading home. It was a very long and fun eventful day!
