Day 279/365 (April 22, 2015)

Woke up early and headed to my appointment uptown and ended up having to go through the park again with all the steps! Had my appointment which was super long and then headed to work. I had ripped off an emotional band-aid and ended up on the verge of tears most of the day.

I left work after a few hours and went to Studio 26 to meet with Travis. He had made a scheduling mistake that worked out in my favor. I didn't really feel like training today so i ended up only being able to do it for about 30 minutes so it was a compromise! I did a really good job on the scary box jumps and I was proud of myself! I want to talk with Travis about my feelings in the over eating department but never am sure if I should, i think he could be helpful but it is hard to express that and also there are other people around. Plus it is hard to bare your soul while trying to do squats and planks and what not.

Then I headed home and made cauliflower tots and watched some stuff on the DVR. When Sasha got home we watched Criminal Minds which was a messed up episode and I watch Nashville... KDM had a lovely part on the episode tonight!

Charlie also accidentally gave me a major cut on my arm that hurts like crazy. I was able to wrap gauge and neosporin on it at least. Charlie is frisky and Fred is cute.

Day 178/365 (January 11, 2015)

Spent the morning lounging around with Fred and Charlie before getting ready to head out. I also finished reading my book, The Cinderella Murder, I traveled to Hartford, CT to see KDM in the Pippin tour one more time. I left wicked early because I was expecting the usual crazy traffic but there was none and I got there super early!

I ended up meeting up with Brendon R. and then also Otter and Jenna so I wasn't completely by myself! I also had a nice seat and was over by where he ran off just before the duck scene.

While waiting at the SD area I got to meet Cooper who did a fairly decent job, but still not quite right... he was super cute and had a lovely hopeful chat with KDM.

Then I headed back home and once again thankfully didn't hit any traffic.

Day 157/365 (December 21, 2014)

Today was so amazing and awesome and I just can't properly put into words how happy it made me!

It was an early morning start for my mega-bus journey to DC. The trip there was pretty quick and uneventful. When I got to Union Station in DC I asked a cop about walking to the theatre since it was only 1.2 miles away. I didn't know the area and if it was safe for walking like were there sidewalks or any sketchy parts. The police office told me it was safe during the day, but not at night and thought it was too far of a distance to walk. I was like it is nothing but thanks! I ended up at the theatre so much earlier than expected and discovered they had a freaking lotto! I could have saved tons of money but I mean it turned out to be a good thing since I had a front row seat and third row seat and if I hadn't had that front row seat my day would not have been as awesome as it had turned out!. After I picked up my tickets for the two shows I dropped off the cookies I brought for KDM with the stage door guy so he would get them before the show with a note. Then I went to the starbucks next door and ate a little something while waiting for the show to start. Eventually I changed into my nicer clothes and headed to the theatre.

It is such a large house and they let us in an hour early so I roamed the place and found a Pippin photo op spot. I had such mixed feelings about the show itself. SO many good things and bad things. Sasha Allen is terrible and anytime she things the tempo of the music is reduced greatly and I am not a fan of the guy playing Lewis. The acrobats were truly spectacular and did things I hadn't seen before. Cooper (the dog) is adorable though he didn't run out so KDM had to go over to him, then he laid down behind the thingies and held him up like Simba for the rest of the scene. It was pretty funny! The front row here was great because you didn't have to strain your neck and had full view of the show. I saw the moment when KDM noticed me because his guys got all big and then he mouthed to me at the beginning of "War is a Science"that the puppets were bigger. The end of the show was really cool. Since touring companies paint things backstage that aren't usually seen when the tent was "striked" and the backstage area was revealed you could see all of these various shows from the past and one of them was a tribute to Fosse when Sweet Charity was there and he passed away. It was incredible. Then the next greatest thing happened. During curtain call he mouthed to me and motioned to ask if I wanted to come backstage... um yes puh-lease!

After the show I made my way around to the stage door area and finally walked in when I saw him from afar. As I was going passed the SD guy he was like wait... and then handed me the cookies and the note. I couldn't believe he hadn't passed them along but at least I got to give them to him. It turned out he wasn't going to SD that day so if he hadn't have seen me he wouldn't have known I was there. Anyway we ended up running an errand and getting dinner. It was nice to have a chance to chat some place warm and not at a barricade. Then we headed back to the theatre area. He said he would come out to say bye to me after :) I was checking instagram and whoever runs Cooper's account is pretty funny and apologized for the mishap onstage and I was like its okay i will be back tonight and he was like there are ghosts i can't make promises. Starbucks was closed so I found a place called loco taco and ordered guacamole and sat down to charge my phone and read my book.

Finally made my way back to the theatre and saw the show again... Cooper did better but still not right, good thing he is cute! Then waited at SD and said bye before getting a cab and heading back to the station. Basically a perfect day!

Day 104/365 (October 29, 2014)

After only 2 hours of sleep both Ally and I woke up to rush Pippin for Kyle Dean's last day as Pippin on Broadway. We got there way too early, but once again we wanted to be safe not sorry. It is a good thing we were first in line because they only had two front row seats left for the evening show. It was worth it. We played Disney trivia in line and her friends got there later, but they had to study for their mid-terms... yuck! I ended up with the one front row seat I hadn't sat in yet AA112! Had to do my sad face rush pose in front of his poster before it went away.

Then i rushed home and did a quick change and headed to work for a few hours. I dropped some of the smores off at Cinderella for Neil and I came home to have lunch, shower, and change and when I got there I found mail from Whitney which was a super cute cupcake necklace and a unicorn for cats... so naturally I took a picture of Fred wearing it. I tried for charlie but he did not cooperate. Then it was off to the matinee. The show itself was wonderful and I loved my seat J1 but man oh man the audience was terribly rude! there was a high school group there and they kept talking and making oOo noises at things and especially during the shirtless/cage seen they were so rowdy and cat calling him and whistling an it was embarrassing me highly I do not know how Kyle Dean (and the others) kept it together like nothing was happening, and then when he was putting his shirt back on some were yelling to keep it off. and later in Act Two the Bolero seen when they were under the covers it was rough! The people all around me were talking loudly, and at one point when KDM is in the audience at the beginning of the duck scene as he was walking off an older man in front of me yelled run away she is trouble, and KDM made the funniest look as he was trying to remain in character and turn around for his next line. Also during intermission I spied Mark by where I was sitting and I didn't realize just how much his sudden dropping me s a friend had affected me until I saw him and it made me extremely unhappy and angry that he was even there. didn't he like move to Florida or something... why not stay away, jerk! I can't help it that you are behaving like a big old baby when you are more than 20 years older than I am. Any way it had been really nice out on the way there so I didn't have a coat but by the time the show ended it was freezing, but since this was his last day I was waiting at Stage Door and Mark was only a few feet from me and we did not acknowledge each other's presence. I kept debating about if I should or not but for a while I couldn't bring myself to be the bigger person. It became apparent after a while that no one, even KDM, would be coming out but I am so competitive and Mark made me so angry that I din't want to let him "win" by giving up and leaving first, despite how freaking cold I was. I waited for at least 45 minutes to an hour and finally only caved because I needed to go to the bathroom pretty badly. On the way by thoughj i did say Bye Mark, he begrudgingly said bye back.

I came home and warmed up and had dinner before heading out for KDM's last show. I liked sitting in that seat and the show itself once again was really good but once again another rude audience. This time there were 3 people in the front row on the other side that turned out to be friends of one of the acrobats. They were drunk and yelling during the show, like repeating lines and waving arms like at a concert and it wasn't until the very end an usher came and told them to stop... it should have been sooner! Once again not sure how the cast stayed in character, true professionals, especially the little boys who played theo who didn't let the talking stop them from their moment at the end of the show and stayed on key and everything.

KDM got extra applause/love after extraordinary and that made me happy. Ally decided to wear her Pippin costume for pictures and I must say, despite my concern over the color not being right more than one cast member, KDM included, said "the color was spot on" so I did a really good job! Mike even said he asked the wardrobe department about the shirt because a friend really liked it and I guess in the show they buy a really expensive designer one to dye and here she was with a $6 one I dyed correctly that fit and looked the same... so I win! While at the stage door Mark and I once again kept our distance and I ran onto that Producer guy from last week who is a character and was bedazzled. He was pretty intense but amusing to speak with and quite eccentric. The only time he really bothered me was when KDM came out and I wanted to speak with him by myself, and I gave him personal space to chat with KDM, then when he kept trying to come talk to me he just didn't want to let go and KDM and I kept giving each other looks like okay let's wrap this up. When we finally got to chat he sang "so anyway I'm leaving" from n2n and i was like knife to the heart dude! we chatted for just a bit because I knew he was busy and others were still waiting but I said I would come see him on tour and we said goodbye and had him sign my playbill. I can't lie about how he makes my heart happy, especially when he calls me doll and when he keeps up the tradition of writing love you on playbills form his final shows. Then he moved on tot he next set of people and I chatted with this girl I had met earlier in the day from Mexico for a while. She was nice, then I chatted with Ally and the twins for a while before finally heading home. It was a very long and fun eventful day!

Day 103/365 (October 28, 2014)

The day began by rushing Pippin. I got there earlier than I actually thought I needed to but I was awake and why not be safe than sorry. While rushing I gave Ally her shirt since she was there for the filming of the show for CBS' Thanksgiving Day Parade segment. I got my favorite seat AA109 and then headed home to make a change, then off to work for a bit. Later I came home and did a quick apartment tidy because I wasn't sure if I had a visitor coming over or not. Then i dropped some baked goods off at Pippin and came home to work on the cookies for my fall s'mores idea and making the cake balls for my first official order. The cookies were tasty but i really hate rolling out cookie dough for cookie cutters, i always forget how much I hate it until i do it again... fail! The cake ball making went pretty smoothly, I am a well oiled machine in that respect now!

Then Ravi and Josh came over for a bit to pick up some baked goodies and hang out. It was nice to see them and to show off the place, especially with all of the decorations Karen and Sasha have done for the party on Saturday. Then as I was in a baking madness for the rest of the night I realized the time and went to meet up to deliver my first order and on the way back I ran into the friend I was planning on meeting later, Rochelle,, and Ben was also with her. We chatted for a bit then I headed home, stuffed dinner in my face, changed, and headed back out to meet them. I gave them some cookies and went to see Pippin. When Ben tried the Pumpkin Snickerdoodles he was like I would place an order for these... success!

The show was lovely and I am so happy I was in "my seat" Then after the show I waited at the SD area per usual. I finally told Mike how much I enjoy his glitter confetti audience sprinkling in the beginning of Act Two and he told me how he has also been throwing it into people's faces if they aren't paying attention and the other night a lady was drinking water and he threw it in her face and yelled "MAGIC" with his Fosse hands and I just about lost it. I waited way too long after Pippin at the Stage Door for KDM to come (like an hour) oops.... sometimes I do crazy things but it was nice to see him for a quick moment. Ally had met u with me since she was staying over to make rush easier and give KDM something... then we headed back home and she helped me put together my fall s'mores which were gingersnap cookies in t shape of pumpkins with pumpkin shaped pumpkin marshmallows dipped in chocolate on top... so delicious! Karen and Sasha had the ladder out for decorations and left it there and I found Charlie stuck at the top not sure how to get down. Then after a long time we finally went to bed at like 2:30 am! oops!

Day 98/365 (October 23, 2014)

It was a cold and rainy day but I had to rush Pippin. Thankfully the line wasn't too crazy and they let us get more than one rush ticket. I got two because Karen was coming with (although it ended up being Hope instead). then I headed home to change and go off to work. After work I headed home for a tiny bit then went up to my Jenny appointment where I was shocked to find out I had lost 1.4 pounds during the week despite my over sugar consumption! Then I came home and put everything away/showered before heading downtown to see Rachel Potter play an acoustic set. It was nice to say a quick hello and I ran into Marty T. and Marissa. The three of them just put a smile on my face whenever I see them, and I had been in a bad mood all day then this was the turning point. Then I went back home for a quick bite to eat before heading out to see Pippin with Hope.

It was a great show per usual and then after the show KDM took me backstage for a photo op. He played my photographer and helped place me for my photo ops, then I helped someone else with their photo ops and they returned the favor so KDM and I could take a picture together. I felt bad though because we were interrupting a talk back happening while I was posing... oopsie! I even got a picture onstage with Lucie Arnaz! Then back home to do some last minute packing before my MA Trip

Day 96/365 (October 21, 2014)

I decided to rush Pippin since KDM was back and he leaves next week. It wasn't as cold as I was expecting so that was nice! The lady who works as a porter there was actually super nice and friendly to me for the first time. I was shocked but very pleased. After rush I went home to drop off stuff and headed to work for a while. I then went to the gym where I was not as successful as yesterday, but at least it was something. it could be because I forgot to put on sneakers and was in my rain boots or the macaron that I ate that I shouldn't have!

After I came home and delivered my macarons to people (ate another) and then watched some DVR TV before getting ready for Pippin. On the way to the show I popped into Les Miz to give Penski her macarons and chatted with her for about 15 minutes before finally going into my show. It was good to see KDM back... man oh man will i miss him! The ensemble of the show truly are amazing and the way they can split tracks so easily is incredible! The new guy replacing Orion wasn't quite ready so he was only onstage for a few acrobat type things, and the other actors were giving him stage direction as he was doing things, i saw one say "lift up the ball" to him. He did pretty good for the most part, but they had to do a different second act opener with two of the others and they took out the fire juggling at the end of the show. KDM didn't make it up on the shoulders during Extraordinary so it was fun to see how he handled that and then the front somersault he did. At the stage door I saw David Tutera go inside and I was all excited and later when he came out I asked for a picture since he is so freaking awesome! I think he was excited about the idea since this isn't the  type of crowd that might recognize him because he has a gigantic smile and well that made my night LOL! It's funny how I pass people all the time on the streets that most people would care about like Orlando Bloom or Rupert Grint or whatever and I am not phased but I was like OMG ITS DAVID TUTERA!!!!

Then i came home and got stuff ready for the morning before going to bed

Day 83/365 (October 8, 2014)

I started the day off in a pretty cranky mood, but luckily while I was (again) rushing Pippin there were two people behind me in line that helped me become not so cranky. I then went to work for a bit and to the gym again. I came home and made brown butter for te first time, showered, and then got Charlie ready to take to the vet. I ended up getting there way too early because I was dreading a disaster getting him into the carrier by myself but I ended up doing it in a smart way that meant it took m ten minutes from getting Charlie in the thing to getting him to the vet on 26th St!

While walking home from the gym I passed good old Betsey Johnson which I still stomp on to this day from the scavenger hunt years ago, and the Nederlander was having a load in

Then I came home and ate some quick food before heading out to see Pippin. The show was enjoyable as usual, but two moments that stood out were when Barnum came out something was wrong with the fur on his head and it looked like he had a Mohawk... i snorted it was so cute/funny! Also during the scene after Glory when the war has ended as Ari was checking "the bodies" i saw her stab her sword down and say "just die" well I just about lost it, so funny... wonder if that happens every night or not?

Chatted with KDM post show for a bit then headed home, but before he came out I was off to the side leaning on a pole and there was a cop on a horse sort of close by. I was playing on my phone and felt something nibbling my arm... i turned and saw the horse nibbling my arm! The police officer was like ahh I'm so sorry as he pulled him away. I didn't mind, the horse was very cute and it was nice to be appreciated when I didn't have a bag of peaches with me, like that day at the farm!

Day 82/365 (October 7, 2014)

What a day! First I woke up to Charlie sleeping like that by my leg, and Fred sleeping like that on the pillow next to me. I got ready and headed out to Pippin rush. Rush was uneventful which is always good, then I went to work. Afterwards I went to the gym for a bit and met up with Jess' friend Avi.

We are planning her NYC bachelorette party next year so we wanted to get together and start brainstorming and pick a date. Obviously I can't discuss what we are thinking but if we can make any of our ideas come to fruition it is going to be SO FUN!!!! He is a pretty cool guy (duh he is a friend of Jess) so we chatted for quite sometime after we were done then I headed up to Trader Joe's so I would starve until Friday. Then I came home and had dinner and took a shower before heading out to see Pippin. There was a bunch of understudy action happening which is always fun. Colin was on for the King, and Sam was on for Colin and Lara (i think is her name) was on for Berthe the first time ever. I enjoy Colin as King Charles so it was nice to see again. Lara did an excellent job as Berthe but it is funny because she is no way near a grandma age. She altered her voice, altered her posture, and did her makeup in a way to appear older but as soon as she took off the robe there was no hiding the fact she is quite young! I found that pretty funny. So much better than Priscilla! Orion was still in the show which made me happy (and finally got a picture with him even if it is blurry). There was a moment early in the show where Pippin has the sword and hits the floor with it as he is trying to convince Charlemagne to let him go to war and the sword BROKE! the piece went clanking onto the ground and KDM had this look on his face and was just like oops. it was pretty freaking funny, then he kicked the piece of stage and the show went on but it made me chuckle quite a bit!

When the show was over it was starting to drizzle and I had not brought my umbrella so I was not looking forward to walking home but ended up walking with someone who was a lovely gentleman and he held his umbrella for the both of us so I stayed dry woo~hoo!

Karen also made Charlie a scarecrow halloween costume and they did a photo shoot with the boys as the cowardly lion and scarecrow

Day 80/365 (October 5, 2014)

The only reason I originally forced myself out of the apartment today was because I had a training session with Travis at Studio 26. It kicked my butt per usual (this is me walking home) but they were having an open house during it so people were watching me and before I started i nibbled on some veggies they had and chatted with some people.

Paula and I are going to see Pippin together and I wanted to get the ticket on the way home but by the time I got there it was too close to show time so I just went home to kill some time before heading out which turned out to be a great thing!

When I got home I found a lovely surprise! Miss Lola had come over for a bit because she "missed us so much" She was extra good huggy today. random hugs from everywhere and at one point she ran to me and gave me a hug and said i "was the sweetest girl ever." I mean really my day was made! while she was over we decorated her kid sized apron and I wish I had taken video of the artistic process because she was so funny. She drew a sun and then clouds then exclaimed "on no its going to rain" and started drawing rain drops while going "ahh" then she said "you know what sun and rain make... a RAINBOW" then she drew a rainbow. eventually she added a picture of us (she is pink and I am purple) and a butterfly and jewels in the sky, can't wait to bake with her again so she can use it!

Anywho at one point I popped out for a few minutes to go buy the Pippin tickets and my timing was unplanned perfection. it was while Corner of the Sky was happening and there were so many late people the doors kept opening and I could hear KDM singing it which kept distracting me from making the purchase decision about where to sit!
