Day 267/365 (April 10, 2015)

Morning began by rushing Hand To God... it was pretty chilly! The person behind me in line recognized me from when I got tickets to see The Last Ship with Ewa in December... always cray when that happens!

Then it was off to work briefly before I headed to "Conversations with Jonathan Groff" It was a 2 hour Q & A that was fascinating and I chatted with two lovely people before it started. There really is something about the tone of his voice that just makes you feel happy. Then I went to Trader Joes, and headed home.

I met up with some new friends for dinner and then we went to that evil cookie place before the show. Let me tell you this show is so funny. In concept I should not like it and be offended by it, but man was it good! Also the main actor is incredible. I do not know how he does what he does. Made some new friends during intermission (the ones from behind in the rush line) and then went to wait at the Stage Door. I ran into Kris Cusick which made me happy!

Then after SD times some of us went to a little place to hang out and chat more... then finally i went home to find that Karen and her mom got me a cookie from that evil cookie place... oops! Yum.

Day 145/365 (December 9, 2014)

They finally finished doing work in our apartment!

the skies had opened up and was raining like crazy... not sure how we didn't flood. I got to go to Gypsy of the Year which was super fun thanks to Ellyn. Hugh Jackman in person is quite lovely. Pippin was great and Michael C. Hall and Lena Hall were hilarious trying to do acrobat stuff a la Pippin. Kinky Boots were wonderful and everyone was all about Hugh at the end and he was a terrific sport!

Then it was off to my night at 54 Below. First I saw Laura Osnes who is basically perfect and did an amazing show, including singing There's a fine, fine line form Avenue Q complete with the Kate Monster puppet! Then it was time for The Spidey Boys show that I was filming. It was a really great show and I got an awesome spot to film from! Then we all went to Alfie's after and I made some new friends that I ended up going to Flaming Saddles with after and they don't allow woo-hooing haha. I even ran into someone I knew from NWS there

It was also weird to see Kate Monster just cholling on a box when I went up to the dressing rooms.

Day 358/365 (August 11, 2009)

i dont remember the first parts of the day but i know i went to apple to drop off my computer for them to fix it. it was supposed to be a quick drop but instead it was a i had to wait twenty minutes to drop it off drop. Then i headed over to Hair Lotto to help Morgan K. with it since he tweeted asking for help. Sadly we all lost for him and everyone else i knew there that i randomly bumped into. After sasha and i got some subway for dinner and went back to her place.

we watched tv and hung out and eventually marty came home and we continued doing the same, i think this was the night we watched the emperor's new groove or i should say they watched it since i was busy applying to jobs. but the parts i paid attention to were quite funny!

then i headed over to The Irish Rogue for Shoshana's birthday party and i was a little worried at first since i knew the only person i was going to know there was actually Shoshana and contrary to what people might think i am actually quite shy and not always up to breaking the ice to make nice nice with new people and become their friends. well i was proud of myself because i forced myself to become a chatty person and had a most fabulous night and the shirley temples at place were laced with so much grenadine it made my taste buds happy! it was hot inside because the AC wasnt really working but that didnt stop us from having fun and taking about a bazillion pictures, true stalkerazzi! eventually we left and spent 40 + minutes just talking on the corner of 42nd and 7th ave until we finally went home. i had forgotten to take a picture until about 11:40 that night and it was so dark in there which isnt good for my iphone camera so this was the best i could do with the use of using a candle for light which was our second candle since i breathed on the first one to blow it out and we had to use all the napkins to hold the candle because it was very hot!

Day 295/365 (June 9, 2009)

tuesday was an incredibly amazing, fun, and LONG day! i ended up sleeping for 30 minutes outside the booth theatre and then only 45 minutes at home. Mark and i rushed from 10:30 pm monday night until 10 am tuesday morning. it had tremendous rain, thunder that set off car alarms, frigid winds (that turned me into a superhero, and awesome new friends. i met this new person Joe and well he was so freaking awesome, and jake and tracey were also in the line, sasha swung by with pip at one point and i dont think i actually ever left the rush line except after they handed out the bracelets i took a tiny bathroom break! (jordan even stopped by for a bit) it really was lots of fun and we played a game of UNO and i kicked butt!

it was all for me to see Kyle Dean's first night in next to normal and it was worth it! after we left i went home and baked cookies for him and stuff, had my little nap, showered after the crazy long night, then met mark at build-a-bear to help him make a bear for kyle dean. i also scouted out the finishing stuff for the abe bear from last year's AA Day scavenger hunt. then we headed to the amrriot and put the bear's clothes on and stuff, got some food, then met with michelle at the theatre. it turns out Alice Ripley was sick so her understudy was going on and a bazillion people got refunds for their tickets including some of the people who had camped out overnight with us and i was like wow that is crazy! and sasha got one of our extra tickets but got hers refunded so joe ended up sitting next to me for the show and that was fun.

Kyle Dean did such an incredible job and i know it sounds weird but i was so terribly proud of him. i have seen him grow as a performer over the last three years and this really was amazing, he finally is able to show the rest of the theatre community how freaking amazing he is on a nightly basis. best part? i actually like this show so it wont be painful to sit through and watch it many times! (though i did love xanadu by the end) he played Gabe so well and well i just cant say enough ... yea and all the people who freaked and got their tickets refunded? you missed an incredible show i thought Jessica was leaps better than Alice Ripley (yea i said it) her voice was so pure and her acting choices made me appreciate the character more... jessica phillips is amazing!

special thanks to tracey for helping unwrap all my reese's for the cookies and jake who was in line with us
