Day 332/365 (June 14, 2015)
Woke up bright and early, before Lola came in. Then I made her chocolate chip pancakes and made myself and Sasha a pancake with a cinnamon swirl in it... yummy! After breakfast we played "pass the ball" with the friends and Lola gave them story time. I tried to actually win to help her in the learning to not be a sore loser department but i actually lost... fail! She also caught me filming her story time... oops! Then she played with some legos. We had a good sleepover with her!
Later in the evning Sasha, Karen, and I went to see Ben David in his school musical. Oh man, i saw way too much of people I didn't nee to see but he did a great job and glad we could make it out. It was at Circle in the Square and before the show started the guy who works for Circle was so cranky and yelling very angrily at people for no valid reason which was annoying. After the show was over we discovered that it was pouring rain... all 3 of us in dresses and flip flops with no umbrella. In the 4 blocks home we became drowned rats from the really cold rain.

Day 331/365 (June 13, 2015)
Woke up earlier than I would have liked but what can ya do?! I tracked Sasha's 10K race and made an omelette for breakfast. Then I showered. When Sasha got back we started to watch another episode of Orange is the new black but we got a surprise when Ellyn brought Lola over very early! Good thing we were home. Needless to say we stopped watching it. After a bit I popped over to help Holly and Anna with Hedwig lotto, then rushed back home. Ellyn came back and we talked Lola's party. I am sad we will be missing it but glad I will be in NH with my family. I am still mating her cake though so I hope that it still tastes good the day of her party!
Then we had some fun with Lola and she worked on making a calendar for me. Then we tried very hard to convince her to not go with Sasha but failed, so Karen and I had a quiet evening. I fell asleep finally trying to watch the Game. Lola also played with the window markers and made herself as a mermaid in an underwater sea castle. Lola also toppled Sasha and Karen.
Fred is so cute.

Day 290/365 (May 3, 2015)
The morning started fairly early because of the Lola sleepover. I must say it is fun to be woken up by a giggly 5 year old! Then we made pancakes and improved her rocket ship after we discovered Fred had peed in her rocket ship from the night before... oh man was she upset by that, and couldn't understand why Fred would do that.
Then Karen and Sasha went off for morning errands so it was just Lola and I. we dressed up, played a wonderful few rounds of Hot Potato with the friends, though some of them ended up in time out for being sore losers. We read the Derblin book over and over. Derblin is a Derblin, and she even used some of the friends to act it out. She started singing a made up song to the tune of another song (and dance with pon poms) about all the activities we were doing and how it was the best Sunday ever.
Then after Ellyn arrived and Sasha and Karen were back we went to Bareburger for lunch. Then back home to play for a bit, and when Ellyn headed out to Kinky Boots the 4 of us headed to the park. Sasha would sing Let's Go Fly A Kite and we would lift Lola up and she was loving it! Then we got to the park and boy oh boy can that girl move! She met another girl, 6 year old Lila, and they became best buddies and poor Lila had to keep yelling after to Lola to "Please slow down I can't keep up" There were 3 adults watching this one girl and we were having a hard time keeping tabs! Eventually Lola got to have an ice cream before we left. She ended up being very tired and fell asleep before we made it back tot he apartment.
Later on I went for a few random walks to hit my step goal for the day and made a birthday card for Karolina that ended up needing Sasha's hep because my writing turned out so poorly. Charlie also still squeezes into that cat scratcher.

Day 289/365 (May 2, 2015)
Morning started off slow and then Jess arrived for the weekend! We chatted for a bit, then I headed off to get some food from Jenny. I came home and relaxed a bit before heading out with Jess to walk downtown to try the Hamilton lotto. We lost of course but at least tried!
Then we headed down to Stone Street to meet up with Avi and his girlfriend Andrea. She was super nice/fun. The place felt hip and like I was out of place but oh well. Had some yummy guac and plantains. Then Jess and I went went back towards Astor Place so she could get some makeup from e.l.f.
On the way home I found out we were having a surprise sleepover with Lola and she called me just as I was getting home to ask if we could have pancakes for breakfast... the buttermilk kind. I mean how could I say no? When she got to the apartment we played a quick game of checkers where i set her up to quadruple jump me just to end the game because it was late and I could tell she was tired. She was so pleased!
Then Karen and I went off to Food Emporium because I needed buttermilk to make the pancakes and we didn't have syrup since I usually use honey.
Fred drinking from the tiny sink is pretty comical. Charlie rocking Lola's rocket ship before Fred peed in it.

Day 99/365 (October 24, 2014)
I got a much later start than I was expecting while heading out to MA, but thankfully there was only one spot where i voided major traffic and was able to take a different road so I had smooth sailing. I love singing at the top of my lungs when alone in the car! Please note how much stuff i packed to go away for one night! In my defense a great deal of it was my baking stuff for cake making/decorating.
Let me tell you Colson is one of the most energetic 2 year old boys I have ever met. He wanted me to follow him around and sit everywhere and kept grabbing my hand and melting my heart. After a couple hours I had just enough time to say hi to Tessa before having to go take my mother speed shopping because her ride fell through. The last thing I needed to add to my day was that but I had to because she needed stuff for the party. I made us do shopping very fats and attempted to upgrade my phone but of course they were sold out for the day so I failed! I also found out my Nana was placed in a nursing home that morning since she is becoming very difficult to care for because she is getting very violent, and of course that means there is much family drama.
Then I got back to Becky's and had a sleepover with Tessa that involved her helping me bake the cakes for Colson's party and playing Life on my phone. I even had some time to chat with Becky which was nice since I do miss her lots, but it was nice having a few moments to myself before going to bed to unwind since i was extremely strssed and overwhelmed today

Day 32/365 (August 18, 2014)
After work it was off to the gym/training with Travis. I scheduled training for earlier in the day because we have Lola for a sleepover... though she got to the apartment around 11/noonish... so I had to wait before the fun could begin.
When I got home home Lola yelled how happy she was to see me because it had been so long and that she had a surprise for me. She took me to my room and she sowed me these paper flowers she made... she really knows the way to my heart!
We made samoa cupcakes an I decorated the cake for my coworker, as well as made yummy zuchinni to eat. I make it so spicy though my nose always starts to run!
I had showed Lola my lamp from Turkey earlier in the night and forgot I had left it on until i went to bed and saw it... I really do love it and should turn it on more! Please note one of her outfits for the evening complete with tiara and headband, she has so much personality!
