Day19/365 (August 5, 2014)
Long day at work, couldn't wait to get home! I spent the night working on tasks that needed to be done before leaving for Maine. I also made a buffalo chicken enchilada lasagna thingy and while I was doing that the boys (Fred and Charlie) were being so cute I just had to take a picture. I just want to be in Maine already! I also finally watched The Normal Heart on HBO... heartbreaking!

Day 18/365 (August 4, 2014)
After work I headed down to training where my legs were worked so hard I had a hard time walking back... oof! Once I got home I ate dinner, and made some zucchini wedges... they were awfully spicy! Sasha made her yummy zucchini and squash tomato thing and David and Karolina came over for a while. It was a nice evening overall, here is Charlie sleeping on my hand/arm as he so often does.

Day 17/365 (August 3, 2014)
I was very productive today! I did all of my laundry (3 loads) and cleaned my room, made some peaches and cream popsicles with honey and chia seeds. They were in my new sailboat molds! I also went on an arts and crafts binge and made quite a few fun cards. I even made a chicken enchilada lasagna for dinner that was so yummy and am already looking forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow night! Fred decided to nap on my mountain of cean laundry, and Charie passed out in my arts and crafts drawer.
I had issues getting the pictures from my phone so they are screen caps

Day 16/365 (August 2. 2014)
It was a long but fun day. I got up early and rushed Bullets Over Broadway where i met some lovely people I spent the morning speaking with. Once I had my tickets I headed home and got ready to go on a roommate adventure.
Karen, Sasha, and I left the city and went shopping at the wonderful AC Moore and Walmart. We also went to a pick your own vegetable farm where we found giant zuchinnis. They could be lethal weapons and it was 6 for $5! We also picked our own wonderfully juicy peaches... yum! There was a horse just roaming around and she was very nice. She only wanted me for the peaches I was caring, but its all good!We also went to Sasha's mom's house to have a visit with Pip.
Once we got home there was some foodage and then I headed out to see Bullets Over Broadway. Stage Door was a mad house but I am a pro so I was right up front without having left before curtain call was over. There was this gentleman who kept pressing up into me though and it was on purpose so I finally exploded at him (politely) and told him he needed to give me some personal space and not push up into me. It was crazy but no one else was pushing or shoving, only him. Zach Braff was so nice when he came out... le swoon! He thanked me for the cake pops and said I made some people backstage very happy.

Day 15/365 (August 1, 2014)
I ended up obnoxiously early thanks to my Peapod delivery coming at 6:40 am even though it was not supposed to arrive until at least 7, but I got the driver approaching text at 6:28 am, so I was wide awake this morning. I decided to try a peach recipe i saw the other day and it was tasty, but not filling for a breakfast. Basically you have the peach, put in a touch of butter and brown sugar/cinnamon then cook until the peach is tender. It was delicious just not filling.
Went to work in the morning, then headed home and did some baking. I made cupcakes for Elle in Heathers since they are closing in a few days, then I made cake pops in the shape of something from the movie Wish I was Here. Making cake pops on a very humid day proves extremely difficult! I even crafted those cupcake inserts

Day 14/365 (July 31, 2014)
I wanted to rush Pippin today but when I woke up at the original planned time I decided I was too tired and was going to skip it, however after another 45 minutes of sleep I figured I might as well head over, and so glad I did! When I got there I met these two lovely girls and a woman that were so fun to chat with. While waiting for the box office to open they brought and installed that new poster above.
Then I went to work. I had planned on going to the softball games in central park but sadly couldn't make it because a whole bunch of stuff popped up, so when I finally left at 4 I couldn't wait to get home and just veg out for a bit. I ended up napping on the couch which was much needed for my soul.
Later in the night I found out that Ariana DeBose was going on as Leading Player in Pippin. I had been so crushed to miss her debut as LP on Saturday so this was pretty much the best news ever! Seeing her as LP was amazing. It was the first time I saw the show and actually liked the LP part. She made the part her own and sounded fabulous... can we have her take over already? I was also glad to see Orion back. The other guy did a decent job but he was just so massive... a giant and his sheer size made him draw focus from everyone else. I also am not a big fan of Priscilla Lopez as Berthe. She was a scary grandma... I miss the lovable Annie Potts. It was nice checking in with the gals from the morning who seemed to enjoy the show very much and there was this adorable 6 year old I met after that made my heart burst she was so cute. She told me that every day she has to wear something pink or that says Princess, and she was wearing a pink zipped hoodie that had a crown built in... if she changed it to purple she would have been me!
Sasha has been making these wonderful flowers out of Playbills and made a Pippin/Wicked bouquet for me to give to Kyle Dean. I made a Pippin themed vase for the flowers to go in and gave them to him last night.
Then I came home and chatted with Lindz for a little while before going to bed since it was her last night staying with us... gonna miss her!
Day 13/365 (July 30, 2014)
It was a long busy day at work, then I headed off for my evening of fitness. I felt incredibly exhausted before I even left the office. My body was not having any level of activity if it had the choice. I was proud of myself for pushing myself through my warm-up at the gym before heading to personal training. I had a difficult time but still pushed on and then went to my glee dance class after. It really is the most fun thing I do every week. This is me walking home... I look like death!
