Day 259/365 (May 4. 2009)

Dawn arrived from Canada via her trip from LA!!!! I dont remember everything we did, but i know that we went to Sasha's and spent some time with her and Fred and Pip and Nick. (i can't remember if matthew was there.

Pip and Fred were having lots of fun playing with each other and i wish i had been able to take a few more pictures! my allergies also flared up which was not so cool but some good medicine kicked it back into gear!

Then Dawn and I headed over to see Altar Boyz. I had made sure to get her an aisle seat close to the front (front row actually) and before the show started i looked around and there was only one other person with pull potential so i had a 50/50 shot of having my evil plan work... it totally did! She was pulled up onstage during Something About You and as michael extended his hand to her she looked at me and said "i hate you" yea that was a great moment haHA!

It was just really nice seeing it with her because she had never seen it before so when she laughed and all that stuff it was natural and reminded me of how much i love seeing the show and that was pretty hip! the last few times i have seen it i mean i liked it but it just sort of felt like i was there for a reson (which i was) and not because i wanted to see it, so it was nice to watch it and have total fun and not playing little games i have created in my head to make the show go faster. (this is why i had taken my hiatus from seeing it, i loved it too much to end up hating it... it helped with rent, and it helped with this).

i know a big part of our random time together we spent looking for a bag for Dawn.

Day 247/365 (April 22, 2009)

I had originally planned on getting up early and heading to rush 9 to 5, but I had been up so late that I decided there was no way I could rush it. So I set about my usual daily activities. I should also note that when I woke up Emma was curled so cutely next to me.

The best part of the early part of the day was watching Fred and Tucker. They played so well with each other and it was just so cute to watch them chasing each other, and licking each other, and tucker trying to bite Fred, and Fred gently telling him who was boss and that biting was a bad idea!

Eventually I toyed with the idea of rushing the night show of 9 to 5… I flipped back and forth if I should, or waiting until Sasha was back from CA since she hadn’t seen it yet either. Finally I decided that I wanted to see it, even if that meant going by myself, and that I should do it when I was in the mood. I got ready real fast and went on down. I have no idea what the rush crowd is like so in true “Tamra form” I got myself there a good two hours before the tickets were going to be on sale. I was of course the first one there and as I got ready to take my spot to wait a woman at the window asked what the best seats they had available for next Monday were and when the BO guy told her like 8th row center I was pretty upset since he had told me the last time I was there so not the same thing! I then decided I should just see what they had for best available since I still have the code printout sheet. He told me 4th row center! I was like “um buys it please!” It cost more than rush seats but at least it wasn’t partial view and it was super close!

I then saw how much time I had and decided I was going home before the show, and since I had so much time I was going to be able to bake Neil some brownies for his birthday. (Which was a few days ago.) I was so pleased in the grocery store because I found the most perfect yummy large avocado. So I picked that up and some tomatoes.

I then headed home and made the brownies right away and while they baked I did the dishes, ate my tomatoes and avocado, and made a card. I really do quite enjoy arts and crafts… which reminds me my cousins birthday is soon I should make him a card.

Anywho then I headed back downtown to see the show. They let us into the theatre wicked late, and I hate waiting! My seat was perfect… I wasn’t front row but because the seats are slightly raised my row was sort of the perfect spot so I never had to look up, I could just look straight ahead. If I had been in the front row (which I had wanted) I wouldn’t have been able to see al the way to the back of the stage.

The curtain is really all kinds of awesome and innovative. It is a bunch of phone cords dangling, with random phone headsets strewn about, and then it has really pretty colorful lights on it. The show also started way past usual start time, and finally as the lights went dim “the voice of god” came on and I was like what emergency understudy is going on? But the voice was all like “please welcome Dolly Parton,” and well she came out from the side and walked to the front. She was so tiny and my first thought was Hannah Montana (I should be ashamed I know!) but anywho she just wanted to give us a little welcome, and told us that today was administrative aide day (formerly secretary’s day), then she said they would never let her on the stage and she had to leave so the show could get started… every was all excited!

I had never seen the movie and only knew the bare minimum basics of the plot line so I had no idea what to expect. The show was pretty fun and entertaining and some great costumes and choreography. I didn’t feel like one person in the cast was a weak link, which I usually have at least one or two in large casts. I thought everyone from lead to ensemble did well. If it weren’t for Dolly coming out and speaking beforehand I would not have realized just how dead on Megan Hilty nailed Dolly’s accent. There were moments when I kept thinking Dolly is speaking now. It was nice to see Neil do some crazy dancing, and he was so spot on! I just wish he ya know had even a teeny tiny speaking and singing part!  However it is my best guess that he is not miked and that is why he doesn’t get to say boo even when he is the cop and listening to the detective.

So while I was waiting to be let in, whilst waiting in crowded “lobby” who should plow into me?  One of my “favorite” people ever, and by favorite I mean someone I despise very much and the right people know whom I am talking about. My only satisfaction in seeing her is knowing that she is probably as repulsed to see me, as I am to see her vomit much? (though I never did anything to deserve her hatred.)

Intermission was quite eventful! Instead of staying in my seat I decided to go walk around. As I was leaving the doors I heard a man very angrily say “I didn’t hit her!” and a woman was all “he did hit me, he should be removed from the theater” and I looked over and saw them with security… I wanted to know what was going on but realized it was best to just keep moving! As I did so I saw more security coming towards! Then as I went into the hotel area I ran into Luther (and Jared), then I kept walking and playing with my phone and ran into Gary who is I guess my new stalker… I guess if I am going to have a stalker its nice to not have him be someone I don’t like! (as an aside for anyone who knows who I am talking about I recognize he is not actually a stalker and I am just saying that because of something else). Then I kept going and who did I run into? Nick! It turns out he rushed the show… so then we, and his friend, chatted the rest of the time.

It was wicked crowded at stage door but I had a good location next to some random really nice people. I took that picture with Neil myself but it came out pretty badly so someone else took a better one, but this one amuses me because I look like I am 10!  I miss him over at ABz, but I am just glad he is being put to good use here and that I liked the show so it won’t be painful to see again… like les miz. Um Megan is entirely sweet… I took a picture with her with me and it came out bad and she was like we can take another and I was like no its ok I don’t want to be that annoying person but she was like no its ok, so a stranger took it for me. Stephanie was also helpful in helping the stranger take a good picture of us by removing the camera strap from the lens. I am also happy Maia is in the show since she was always (excluding Gwen who is in a league all her own) my favorite soloist in Rent.

I got home and finished the leftover brownies here since it turns out my roomie didn’t realize I left them for her, and I wrote this long thing, while watching TV, and made plans with Judith for tomorrow…. Which I hope actually happens! This means I need to be heading to bed so I can get up and get ready… sadness I am not sleepy!

Day 240/365 (April 15, 2009)

The day started off pretty basic for these days. I woke up and gave fred and emma some good love and attention then i let Tucker out of his crate. I created a path for him to move freely between the living room and krysta's room and that made him happy. i was also proud of him for actually going potty on the newspaper twice today! Right before i went to take my shower he fell asleep on the floor next to krysta's laundry and i felt so bad having to move him to his crate but i couldn't leave him unattended for twenty minutes while i showered.

Then i got ready and headed out to meet Josh who was going to puppy sit. On the subway strangers were all over him and his cuteness and from 72nd st until my 50th st stop he actually got this quite gorgeous looking boy, who was straight, to turn his attention to us and we chatted the whole time about puppy things and what not, of course i didnt get any personal info but it was kinda nice to be all chit chatty with a very nice looking straight boy! I got out of the subway and learned Josh was running late and i ended up waiting for 30 minutes by a duane reade until he got there. This was not bad because well anyone within a 20 foot radius was drawn in by him and he got some great attention. I ran into Caleb who i had seen in Forever Plaid in Ohio too. i kept waiting and waiting and then he came and i safely delivered Tucker to him, then i went and ran my errands. I got to the 9 to 5 box office and was pleased that crabby guy wasn't there and it turned out to be a really nice and helpful guy, too bad i am a seat snob and had some problems so i didnt end up getting any tickets, so i need to regroup with sasha and go with her to make things work out very soon! then i hoped over to NWS to pick up my rooms tickets, but they weren't processed yet so i chatted for a tiny bit with my favorite box office staff (no other place has the awesomeness that works at NWS) and then went to Sasha's.

I wasnt there for too long before we headed off to her voice lesson with kate, and the puppy play-date. While she was having her lesson i was to be puppy wrangler and make sure everyone was ok, and take pip home if things weren't working out. well oscar (her puppy) and pip loved each other and got along fabulously well! they were running like crazies and oscar can do some amazing couch leaping and it was just a good time. there were a few times they needed to be seperated because pip kept getting tired and oscar was all no no let's play, and pip was all no no ima gonna sleep on her lap for a bit. I ended up with quite they itchy splotchy neck that sasha's wonderful face wash took care of after i was rubbing soothing grapefruit peel all over it... hey it made it feel good! we also ran into this cute 4 year old little boy on the way back who clearEly watched too much TV but he loved pip and told sasha all about the special dog claw trimmer thing. ANywho after getting back sasha got ready to g out to next to normal opening, and we ran into kelly and matthew, and nick who startled us when we got back. We also ran into Travis on our way out... oh LOL sasha... i guess i should have introduced them when we first stopped!

I went and got my rooms tickets, then much needed food from over done subway... i ate then went to a pet shop for a bit to look at cute kitties and met jake at starbucks and eventually krysta came. jake had never seen rooms before and i am glad he liked it and krysta was with too... then krysta went and got tucker so jake could meet him from Josh, and i ran into Gary A (ABz) as i was leaving... hehe... oh also you know you have a problem when you walk into a theatre and one of the nice staff goes "i thought you said you werent seeing the show anymore" and i said "i did but there are other shows here" and then they are like oh rooms, that is a good one... see i see more than just ABz!

i am doing good with my hiatus! anywho i really still liked rooms this time around and jewish scottish princess is still my favorite song although i really like the one where they are the diabolicals for the first time!

then i came home and gave the kitties some love and worked on clearing out my insane facebook inbox that just kept growing and driving me batty, and writing this!

Day 239/365 (April 14, 2009)

once again i wasn't able to fall asleep the night before and i couldn't even sleep for as long as i had planned since Tucker woke me up, It was valid he needed to pee and i have to incorparate that into my daily routine now. (even if he isn't my dog, i am not going to leave him hanging and lets face it he is beyond adorable so its worth it.)

anywho i did clean up after him quite a few times but we had lots of fun playing around today and everything. Fred plays such a good big brother to him and is really nice to him even when Tucker (who likes to bite) decides that Fred's tail is a chew toy. Emma still won't give tucker the time of day but i found a really good balance between playing with him, and giving the kitties love and attention so they dont feel slighted.

finally i had to stop being a bum and go out for the day (after writing the check for my taxes to NY state, and making my lunch, and organizing my bag to go out.) so i got dressed and was going to go to the 9 to 5 box office after having their beloved discount code print off, then go to Sasha's. We already knew we couldnt go to the park since it was supposed to rain. Anywho when i got out of the subway it was misting and i had tucker with me so i thought it was best not to go to the box office and go straight to Sasha's. On the way from the time i left the apt until i got to her place so many people stopped to come over at look at this cute little bundle of fluff! Anywho Pip was so excited to have a friend over and he was running all kinds of crazy and we had to take extra care until he settled down a bit and in the end he and tucker had a great time together and we tried going on an outing to the box office, but after our quick post office side trip it started to rain lots so we scrapped that mission and went back since it wouldnt be fair for the puppies to be out in that weather. It was nice having some quality time with Sasha and matthew and krysta and nick and the puppies were so cute! i cant wait for the next puppy playdate tomorrow! while sasha, pip, tucker, and myself were out we ran into this super cute puppy that was a boxer (i think) and his owner was all cooing over tucker and then poor pip started dancing on his hind legs to get her attention and was all "what about me" well once she saw him of course she thought he was cute too! i was also impressed that while we were at Sasha's not only did tucker not go potty on her couch or bed, but when he had to he actually used the newspaper there! i was quite shocked and pleased!

Krysta took Tucker over to josh's and eventually i headed home. i really didnt do much when i got here besides some tv and dinner and kitty time. (and writing this of course, and yesterdays!)  and despite lack of sleep the past several days i still dont feel tired! eek!

Krysta also gave him a bath when she got home... so cute!

And best missed LOL of the day:
matthew was looking at Tucker's tummy, and said Tucker you have pimples on your tummy
Sasha, Krysta, and I all said they are his nipples
Matthew: well look at my pimples (lifting up shirt)

Day 228/365 (April 3, 2009)

i woke up wicked early because i was in new rochelle and well they wake up early so that means i do too... it was nice being able to say bye to them before they went to school, and they were happy i finally spent more than a few hours with them and stayed the night. It was raining so very badly that day! but i made my way home and dropped off my laundry, did some quic roadtrip planning with megan for saturday, showered and headed out to meet zina. We went comic book shopping for her and it just made me happy to spend time with her, but we did lots of walking and i was wearing my uncomfortable rain boots and my feet were starting to hurt lots! i ended up at Sasha's with matthew and pip, and eventually Marty (and a little time with Nick) for a while before getting some food and heading off to the theatre where Nick's show was at.

The theatre was in a part of a church and we were really upset because we were one of the first people there and were waiting so we could get the front row, but they opened up the back door and we ended up being in the second to last row, but there were a ton of us!

The show was made awkward because when the subject matter and language of the show was taken into account and you looked up and saw the ginormous murals of jesus and god watching you it was a little creepy! but i was so proud of him and he did such a great job! The majority of the audience was comprised of people there for him (and the other guy) and even Luther came to see him which i thought was really sweet. then all of us and his parents went for a walk finding them a place to celebrate, and we sent them on their way then sasha, marty, and myself did a little errand before going to sasha's for a tiny bit where we put the at this performance sign i stole on nick's door, ad some popsicles, then went to mostly sondheim.

Mostly sondheim was so much fun and i had missed not being there for a whole month! kate was doing something else so it was just brian and todd and todd had people try out to be his co-host and i got to at one point which was super fun and even marty and sasha sang much to my delight! and when i was recounting the awkwardness of god looking down during the show brian started to play god is watching us (from a distance) which sasha and i were like thats what we were singing the whole time! then finally i needed to go home and get some sleep since i was doing some driving for a roadtrip!

when i got home i had an incredibly hard time getting my rain boots off... i mean we are talking my feet ended up swelling so they didnt want to come out and my poor heels were so tender from the boots.... so much pain... but by morning the feet werent swllen anymore which was nice, but they still hurt a bit.

at one point during the day i made heather's birthday card

Day 211/365 (March 17, 2009)

St. Patrick’s Day! I got up and went to meet Karolina at a place on 35th and met some of her other friends, then I went to say hi to Brian the birthday boy at the house of brews. I ended up spending lots of time at 3A with Sasha, Matthew, Mary, and Pip… and eventually Nick and Mackenzie. We performed some SA and 13, and took lots of pictures, we took Pip on a walk to the Wicked Stage Door and I wore no coat… stupid! But I was so green. Someone told me Pip was a summer dog, not a winter dog… what does that even mean? Eventually Matthew, nick, and Mackenzie walked me to the subway but they ran into someone so we spent time doing nothing much and I showed off my “cartwheel” because well I cant do them. I also spent a good portion of the day cutting HSM audio.

Day 205/365 (March 11, 2009)

Today was a really great day! I slept until the last possible minute, did dishes, took the trash out and Sasha and Pip came over. Fred and Pip met and had an interesting time but they will become friends in good time i am sure! Pip was just too excited to see him. I had shut Emma in Krysta's room before Pip came ovr knowing she wouldnt be happy with him and she was upset with me, until a little while later i brought her out (holding her) so she could see why i shut her in there... then i could tell she was very happy with me.

Then we walked down to 125th street to go clothes shopping for me at Marshall's since i dont have that many wearable clothes and i am going away and would like to wear something new! I was surprised at how easily we were able to find things i liked, and even more surprised that i found a pair of pants that i liked... i never find pant si liked! They were a little bit more money than i would have liked to spend on them but they looked great and it felt nice to wear jeans that fit correctly and do not require a belt to keep them from falling! Pip was a stellar shopper and i would have had a hard time without Sasha's help. The checkout line took longer than the shopping experience!

Then we went to go to Sasha's voice lesson down by columbus circle. The subway was being mean to us, so we had to take a cab the last few streets to get her there on time. Then sasha asked if i could go to a bank of america for her, then take pip to the park for the first time, which i totally had no problem doing. Carrying around Pip was kind of fun because everyone that got within a foot or two of him would go "awe" "he's so cute" "look at that puppy" and one woman even stopped me and we spoke for like 3 or 4 minutes, maybe more. i let her think he was mine since it was easier that way and she said i was going to be a good mommy for him.... i was chuckling on the inside, but i will be a good auntie!

We eventually stumbled up the bank and took care of the transaction... i love having a bank that is everywhere... because i know that when i need one i just have to walk a little bit and i will find one... in fact we found two in less than 6 minutes!

Then i took him to the park for his first outdoor walking experience... it didn't go so well. At first he just stayed in one place and wouldnt even move with gentle tugging on his lease. Then i tried coercing him by making him walk after part of a doggie treat... he took like three steps then stopped, and then he started to whimper and cry. I let him eat the treat then i picked him up and decided that we would let Sasha try next time when the ground wasnt so moist from random sprinklings of rain. He was kind of cold despite his jacket so i went into a best buy, then later a bed, bath, and beyond to kill some time and keep him warm. Eventually the time came and we went to meet Sasha at her lesson and Pip got to meet another dog called oscar who i think is a pug, is black, and is super cute... Pip wasnt so much a fan of him, then we went back towards Sasha's place and made a lunch pit stop in Subway and found Matthew, Mackenzie, and Penski in there!

We then went back to the apartment and Nick woke up.... while there Pip tried to eat my food, tried to dig to china on my leg, lots of singing happened, i feel asleep and they had fun with me because i am a fierce sleeper, and lots of fun was had!

Eventually i left and went home because i had Texas stuff to tend to and i made a folder with evrything i need printed out... confirmations, directions, and a cover sheet. I also called a couple places to ask some questions i had about packing and all that fun stuff.

I also ate some left over pizza and asparagus and watched TV and played online... it was a very good and productive day! i didnt take any pictures of the clothes so y'all can see them when i wear them... oh and i am going to a place where more people say y'all!

Day 201/365 (March 7, 2009)

Our dinner at The Westway Diner... Our Waiter Sucked so Sasha took it...
...So here is Sasha

The day was beyond totally brilliant and amazing! It began by going to the grocery store and getting the final ingredients for cooking baking, then i came home and made 60 oatmeal raisin cookies! I decided to take a shower even though i really dint ned to, but it ended up being a good thing i did later on! The weather was absolutely amazing out by the way.

To most people the thought of my plans for the day would be so wrong since this was the first "perfect" day since last spring but it was much need and more fun than anything else we could have done that day! The day was DISNEYPALOOZA!!!! Sasha, Krysta, Marty, Jenny, Nick, and me spent the entire day watching disney movies!

We watched The Lion King, Meet The Robinsons, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid... 101 Dalmations will have to happen at the next one! At one point i was on the phone with MArk when someone accidentally spilled gingerale on our movies and then we all started screaming for paper towels and someone to turn on the light and we scared poor mark off the phone... i called im back the next day. We also spent the entire time eating nothing but a mix of: oatmeal craisin cookies, red vines, jelly belly jelly beans, carrots, peanut butter M&M's (not me though), Hot Tamales (not me though), lollipops, gummy bears, and i feel like something else. basically we all ate a crazy intense amount of sugar! Krysta was speaking in code about dead guy festivals and coffin races, marty and nick pretended to be disney anime characters, we took turns sitting in different places, and laughed at the jokes in the movies that were meant for only big people to get... the we decided we needed to go get real food and not die of sugar coma.

We headed to the westway diner and on the way nick kept singing "hamster on a piano" and even sung it into chipotle and ran out on the way. Our waiter was a major loser for being so weird and telling us we weren't funny. we were dying of laughter the whole time over various things, and waiter guy kept sneaking up on sasha. Eventually we headed back to the apartment and we were making a riotous amount of laughter and dying from it on the street. At one point Nick accidentally stepped on my flip-flop causing it to come off my foot and i rocked in the hopping and not stepping barefoot on skanky new york street. sasha helped me by letting me lea on her for balance as nick played soccer with my flop and we all laughed... this lady though was all "you sure have great friends" and we were all "why cant you take a joke?" then we crossed paths with ryan and jesse... oops i really am one of those crazy loud street people! but hey lots of sugar and disneypalooza in full effect!

Then we got inside and started watching some youtube videos... some were funny others were not, but one of them was hamster on a piano. while doing this i got a phone call from Emily asking if the band was doing a secret show at Rockwood and i was like i don't know, hold on. So i texted and found out they were! So we rallied the troops (ok just megan since hope was home, and laura far away, and the others were already there) and went to rockwood. This was at like 11 at night and i so was not dressed to really be in public but oh well!

They said their names were Sven, Sven, and Gretchen t one point and well it was just really awesome to see them since it had been like two months since the last gig we saw, and that is the longest i have gone between shows since i first saw them literally two years ago! It ended up being almost all the regulars at our one table despite the big old crowd when we got there. We chatted with them and each other before heading out... i got home and chatted with Krysta and finally went to bed (thanks daylight savings!) at like 5 and got no sleep since i had to get up so early the next morning... but the day was so much and the day was filled with moments and stories i am sure i will be talking about for years to come!

Day 187/365 (February 21, 2009)

This was a crazy day! (technically it started with amazing subway luck getting to the Duplex for Mostly Sondheim... the night before) but it didn't start until after midnight so here ya have it!

I got there way earlier than i intended because the subway actually worked super fast at that time of the night but it worked out because there was a bunch of people that hopped in line as soon as i did. I had the cupcakes with me as bribery to get Matthew to come. I saved a table for us (since i knew Sasha, Matthew, and Nick were on their way). Todd was back as a host and i had never seen him at MS before but he is one of my new favorite people! so funny and talented too... At one point during the night we had a Rent sing along that began with Seasons of Love but then it became both parts of La Vie Boheme (we fast forwarded over I Should Tell You) and that was my absolute favorite part of the night! Sasha, Matthew, Nick (the cupcake vacuum), and I had so much fun and we sang every word and threw in some choreography for good measure!!!! we really did come alive during those songs. Another part of the night was filled with some trivia... but Matthew couldn't follow the rules and ruined two questions... silly boy! We also learned what an Ace Hole was and LOL! Which after seeing the reading of "How The Nurse Feels" i just dont understand how he has fans.

Grace finally came towards the end for a little but (i even sang a "cute" but train wrecked version of i'm not that smart and Grace and I have concocted a plan for next week... only if the room ends up being composed of NOT certain people.

When Grace and I got home we stayed up with Krysta until like 6:30 in the morning talking and watching videos... fun but i really shouldnt go to bed when the sun is coming up.

I finally woke up to a phone call from Mark telling me that he thought Story of My life would be closing Sunday since tickets weren't onsale past Sunday. It turns out he was right and i said i would go get us student tickets for the night show. Sadly the BO didnt have student tickets so i went to TKTS for the first time ever! the line was long, but not too bad and it has great security that stopped someone who tried to cut the line! We got ninth row center and that was good times.

The show was quite good in my opinion. I would have loved to have been able to see it a few more times. The set was simple, rather beautiful, and perfect for the show. Until the show began all you saw was a bold black background, a very white podium and a very white desk and chair. i enjoyed its start and contrasting nature. When the show began with an audio recording of two boys the balck background parted ways just a bit to reveal a white background that changed colors depending on the lighting used and Will Chase's character walked out. Eventually the black went away and we saw Malcolm Gets' character chilling on a library book shelf ladder/wheely thing and a massive book case (all white in the back. It was really nifty because it seemed like MG was wearing all white the way the lighting was until he got off the ladder and you saw he was wearing beige. The rest of the stage was awesome because it was slightly curved and they were able to use it to get closer to the book shelves, or at one point run up a jump down.

Another thing i liked about it was when they made snow angels in the "snow" the lights created what looked like the snow-figures as they stood in place moving their arms and legs (like i used to fake jumping jacks in kick boxing)... That amused me to see. Also the lighting made the desk and chair appear blue at one point, and the books lit up on the shelves. There was a story about a butterfly in the show and when i looked at the playbill after and saw the three books had little butterflies on the bottom of each it made me smile! There was a moment when Will's character threw a bunch of papers up in the air, and as the papers started to fall "snow" began to fall from the top of the stage and it was kind of a breath-taking moment to see the flecks of white dance down towards the ground when the lighting had changed to make the background look very much darker than it was. I truly hope this music does get recorded. Another part i liked (and i dont remember exact quotage) was Malcolm's character had told Will's character that because he wasnt there the moment he had died he will never have answers he can only ever have questions... and isnt that a universal truth?

After the show ended i ran into about a bazillion people i knew which was fun, and mark was all "do you know everybody?" the audience was also surprising bcause they were all really respectful. Not one cell phone, i didnt hear any crinkling wrappers, people didnt talk... it was absolute quiet except for the extremely occasional cough, and the one rude person who sounded as if they were opening a can of soda. I have never seen a performance with such overwhelming quiet of people listening to every word! It was fun to share the night with MArk.

Then we went to the stage door and i was able to finally fangirl Malcolm a little bit which made me so happy. I had seen him years ago in an off broadway show called Polish Joke and have been wanting to see him do something else ever since then and well he was worth the wait! Malcolm and WIll both have such beautiful and powerful voices and they blended so well together and their chemistry onstage was astounding... the show had a sad ending but that made it kind of nice actually.

Afterwards Mark and I headed home because he was sleeping over so he could be closer to the airport for his flight to FL in the morning... we stayed up later than we should talking with Krysta and showing him videos too... but this time it was only 12:30! It was a good day!

Day 153/365 (January 18, 2009)

The day was spent stage dooring the matinee of Spring Awakening on its final day, and meeting up with some friends: mary, Jo Ann, Mike. Then i went and helped people with the Avenue Q Lotto and went to have dinner with Krysta, Sasha, Matthew, and Nick was there too. Matthew was really sad that he wasnt seeing the final show and we tried to find him a ticket but failed.

Eventually we went to the the theater and i got bought him a ticket... 5th row orchestra and i am glad he was able to see the show.

My favorite part of the whole show was the encore of Totally Fucked and everyone just rocking out and singing along... best moment ever! I spent the first act in my favorite right box seat, and moved down to the empty seat next to Matthew for Act Two. I left in the middle of the speeches at the final curtain call because i had gotten word earlier in the day that Ravi was taking part in a concert of music last minute. It was by the composing team of Dabbon and Bruett. I had never heard of them but only went for Ravi. I was quite pleased Marty Thomas was on the list of singers as well when i got there. (ps i literally was seated just before it started). Their music was fantastic and funny and i highly recommend everyone to check them out!

It was all kinds of awesome to see Ravi sing a non- ABz song... boy can sing :D

Day 132/365 (December 28, 2008)

Fred has some seriously frightening light coming from his eyes!

Day 126/365 (December 22, 2008)

Sasha, Matthew, and Nick had a House warming/Christmas Party and it was so much fun having everyone all there together and in a loopy mood, at one point we all got really sleepy, and we were hiding from the “Italians” who out ran us from the living room so we crashed on Sasha’s bed.

Day 55/365 (October 12, 2008)

This was outside 13… they were rushing and I was keeping company. It really is sad that I have only seen Nick one other time since we moved out, and that was also when Sasha was here… it was just nice to spend time with him, and her, and Matthew. (I have done better in the Matthew department).

I also like that Sasha is wearing her Italia sweater thingy and Nick ended up wearing and Ireland one :D

Day 54/365 (October 11, 2008)

Matthew and Nick had a cabaret show, and as it turns out Nicole was part of it too. Seriously it makes me so proud to see Matthew and Nick sing, and I have complete confidence in their abilities… Nicole however was the surprise of the night… who knew she was so freaking awesome? The other performers were kind of well interesting but at least we had them there to bring The Triad down. This was Good Morning Baltimore. I even got to be Something About You girl AND get a picture later on when Nick sang it… finally!

I even got a little teary-eyed at times when they were singing… I yi yi yi yi

After we went to Blockheads and our 11 person party had a great time! Thanks to Sasha, Mary, Marty, Nick, Nicole, Kelly, Matthew, Mackenzie, Their Mom, and her friend for making the night just INCREDIBLE! (I would use our group picture, but that was taken with Sasha’s camera and not mine L
