Day 285/365 (April 28, 2015)
Woke up and awaited the Tony Nominations... they did pretty good this year, so that was exciting!
Then off to work... I left and went to the gym then as I was heading home to shower I got an email that required me to head back to the office, so I went as quickly as possible to shower and get back to the office. I got there and did the letter only to find out it wasn't needed anymore. Then i took off to meet up with Matthew.
We met outside Sirius XM's office building then headed upstairs to be in the audience for Seth Speaks, which is Seth Rudetsky's radio show. There were some great guests: Sierra Boggess, Lisa Howard, Tyne Daly, NYC's Public Advocate Latisha ?, VICTOR GARBER, and Brian Stokes Mitchell. They were all wonderful and charming and informative, and Victor just makes me happy and the poor thing kept having "heart palpitations" over Stokes' stories about forgetting lyrics. The final guest was Lane Bradury (I think) the original Dainty June from Gypsy. She was very cookey! very very cookey! She also kept forgetting it was a radio show and kept trying to dance.
It was nice to see Matthew and spend some quality time with him... also even nicer because he admires BSM so much, so that was a very good surprise!
Then I went home and had a low key evening before turning in very early because I got scratched by Charlie again... OH yea and i took care of the litter boxes AGAIN!

Day 48/365 (September 3, 2014)
I don't know what it is but I haven't been able to bring myself to the gym or my Glee dance class lately. That dance class is my favorite thing to do every week and the last MONTH I just can't bring myself to go, like really what is up with that? I also haven't gotten to the gym which a year ago would be par for the course, but these days I am usually very good about it. I am just in a funk and don't feel like doing much of anything, so when I left work at 2:30 I just went home. Matthew ended up coming over for a bit so it was nice to check in with him, and I made some zucchini for dinner (among other things). One of which was experimenting with using cauliflower to make "tater tots". I sort of did my own thing with them and they came out pretty tasty and puffed up which was fun, I dipped them in buffalo sauce.
Charlie conquered me per usual and then attacked poor Fred.
After watching Big Brother with Sasha and Karen I just worked on getting ready for bed and fell asleep pretty early for me.

Day 343/365 (July 27, 2009)
once again i should have updated sooner! i dont remember much of what i did in the orning but decided last minute i was gonna go to paula's and i knew i had to go over to sasha's beforehand... after emergency rush packing and several phone calls i decided to go out to new rochelle on the later side so i could visit sasha and be stress free.so i grabbed my heavy suitcase (full of laundry) and made my way there and was pleasantly surpirsed to find matthew, mackenzie, and penski there too! we had a lovely time eating sasha's cookies and yummy cheesecake (see above) and helping the other 3 decided which headshots to use of what sasha took... then we overcame the burning on a cd issue using my computer... then sasha figured out how to do it on her own!
anywho sasha packed me up a cookie goodie bag and made my way to new rochelle. i also continued reading harry potter and the deathly hallows like crazy before i went to bed.

Day 314/365 (June 28, 2009)
what a slightly weird day! i met with michelle at the courtyard to hang out for a bit and to meet with travis to give him his birthday goodies... we felt kind of like a stalker sitting where we were but whatever, we had made arrangements to do so! anywho after a while michelle had to leave to see the show so i started to leave... i got about as far as starbucks and paused torn between if i should go home or stay and read. well after about a minute debate i saw mackenzie walking towards me! so anywho after he said he was going to the courtyard so i decided i was staying. it was nice chatting with him, but eventually he had to leave and i decided that i was going to stay and read... which i did for SEVERAL HOURS!!!! (which that was strange enough) anywho i finally decided i needed to leave because i was hungry and needed to use the bathroom and prefer my own... well what are the chances that i would run into mackenzie again as i was leaving? well i did and matthew this time too! so we walked to 42nd street and then parted ways. i came home and ate and chatted with krysta about our weekends. we watched some tv and that was the basics of the day!

Day 303/365 (June 17, 2009)
once again in new rochelle... i was going to go home but paula asked if i could stay another night because she could use my help, so i said yes! today they released the new updates for my iphone and well it was like christmas! i cant explain how happy they made me... we are talking copy and paste, text forwarding, landscape keyboard in texting/email, better fast forwarding/rewinding in itunes, the SEARCH feature, the voice memo, and s may other awesome things! i sent matthew this text because well i love him and i screen capped the copy option because it is my favorite of the updates!i would also like to point how how over the last several days i have been listening to next to normal whenever i get the chance (even play it while going to bed) and i just love the music so much! yea, wow, yea! i mean dennis can even sing parts of I'm Alive now!
also the cousins all love icanhascheezburger and get an insane kick out of them!
it should also be noted how upset i was at missing the spring standards in hobeken since the show sold out before i could buy a ticket... i ahvent seen them in ages and my heart is breaking more than a little because of it!

Day 282/365 (May 27, 2009)

i woke up pretty early on my own thanks to so much sleep the day before, but my throat was still kind of hurting. i checked my email and saw mark was coming in so i gave him a call and we made plans.
i met up with him at wicked and we put our names in the lotto but then took a peek at the cast list and when kyle dean's name was no longer listed there i was like i have no interest in seeing the show if he isn't in it, and he thought about it and decided he didnt want to see it either (mainly because i dont think he wanted to see it by himself) so we left... and i have no idea if either of us was called, oops! any who we ended up at the 9 to 5 lotto to help sasha and matthew. we ran into penski so she hung around to help too. after sasha won we all went to vynl for some yummy food... i love my BLT but next time i will get the mac and cheese that sasha had gotten... so much yum!
then we parted ways and mark and i did some more walking and ended up in starbucks for some time. i finally parted ways with mark after a great afternoon and went to path mark to do some grocery shopping. a stupid crazy lady began following me around saying "oh honey. you're so pregnant" (tho she was so stupid she probably thought your so pregnant) and saw my shoelace was untied (what else is new) and kept saying she would tie it for me if i wanted so i wouldnt trip and hurt the baby. ya know i might not be a decent weight but i do NOT look pregnant and it irked me every time she said it, so i had to ditch her by weaving up and down a few aisles!
Whatever i ended up home and did another successful bathroom walk outside with tucker. then it was time to try and not feel so sick anymore from my poor throat and the sinuses filling up. which isnt helped by emma's insistence on cuddling up on my face, this picture is of tucker misbehaving as usual!

Day 274/365 (May 19, 2009)

i cleaned alot of tucker's pee, didn't get much sleep because i was up late reading the night before and tucker was whining early this morning. but i eventually got up and went about the day, and gave emma some good attention.
Later i went and i met karolina and karen at a "dress place" to try on a potential bridesmaid dress and it was really fun and really pretty... i have a sneaky suspicion we found our winner. then we headed uptown and chatted for a bit, they went to a restaurant for dinner and i went to sasha's.
on the way i ran into matthew who had startled me a bit but it was nice to do a quick catch up before he had to leave, then i headed to the apt. i was greeted very nicely by the excited pip and sasha... and fred was a little more chill... his welcome to me is running to the bathroom and waiting for me to turn the tub on for him.
anywho sasha gave me really pretty smelling hand sanitizer and we chatted while she worked and i was put to work by pip. i got a little good fred time in but pip was always quite excited and would jump in with us. i love catching up with the animals and residents of 3A!
then i came home and got some dinner that i ended up not really liking because well at that point i was hungry and i guess i didn't cook the pasta long enough... it was actually the perfect consistency for al dente but i like my pasta super soft. (sacrilege i know)
i watched Glee which i had been waiting for (and i really love this subway ad) but i was really sad because for some reason the DVR didnt start recording it right away so i missed the first 15 minutes but i liked what i saw!
after i worked on a fun personal design project... i kinda like it but i wish i could get rid of a color box around something and it is giving me difficulty, but i will conquer it!

Day 270/365 (May 15, 2009)

crazy day! so i got minimal sleep (but good sleep) and then i woke up and diane and i embarked on our trip... we left behind schedule but that is ok... we left at 7 and after a long roadtrip that resulted in almost 8 hours of me singing and a short stop for gas and food we made it to our hotel a little after 4. i got to play rock DJ... oh yea!
i unpacked then i fell asleep for a bit, then showered and got presentable.
funny observation there is a bank i need to get a picture of called fifth third bank... but here is the thing above it it says 5/3 which should be pronounced five thirds... epic fail if you ask me! there wwere so many horses we passed by and my throat got a little hoarse from all the singing, but it was so much fun and we barely hit any traffic.
we had some dinner at Panera then went to the Palace Theater... it was nice to see it again and we were seated by the usher because here they have to escort you to our seat. we were right in the front row and the show was just awesome. he sang some many songs and had a great band backing him and a great musical guest (jeanette). it was just good music by a talented guy (woot woot Ryan J. Ratliff). we made nice nice with the random woman beside us and i got to throw underwear up on stage during its not unusual... i wish i had screamed oh my god so much louder than i had, but the frilly yellow and floral undies were hilarious!
the show was recorded live for a CD so of course i preordered that bad boy! afterwards we all went to the Tin Duck which was a cute local tavern that had lice music playing... though we were away from the bands but heard their music. we chatted and it was fun... however i got a drink called the reverend (or the rev for short) and well it didnt taste it but boy was it strong...i i am at this point a little intoxicated but proudly didnt proclaim my life story... instead i just failed at flirting with a cute boy, told someone they had really pretty eyes (which is totally true) and may have used someone for balance at one point... the worst part/best (who knows) is i cant help but think my father would be quite proud of me right now... you know i created so many rules for myself growing up and live by them and some are good some i dont know why i am such a stick in the mud but i am kinda glad i stepped off of my high horse on this one because well there is nothing wrong with fun when in the company of people you trust, and i might be saying things i dont mean to, but i still have control over my physical actions so it is all good right? free! but here is the thing i only had two... and phew have only been like this one other time before... may 6, 2008... matthew knows what that was! (GD party!)
anywho once again voices of vegas was just a really great time and i am so happy i came and all that jazz... now i sleep! it was also nice to decide there was a cute boy (ooh two how could i forget cute boy buying food in burger king, and my eating fries with vanilla shake getting funny looks! story... i am the king! yes i took a crown!) who actually liked girls... he will never know i thought he was cute... but woo~hoo it can still happen on occasion... though rare!
ps i still am without camera so i bring you this yet another iphone picture from voices of vegas... surprisingly it actually is pretty decent quality for my phone!

Day 262/365 (May 7. 2009)

This photo was "stolen" from TONY Lounge's FB Page
So began my massive lack of sleep, but fun doom! As became usual we went to bed around 3/4ish in the morning and right beforehand Dawn was like let's try getting standby tickets for Jimmy Fallon. SO she left earlier than me, and then i got up at 7 and joined her in the standby line. After they handed out the tickets we grabbed a bite to eat and headed home. I wanted to go to the softball games which i am beginning to think i am not supposed to, so instead of sleeping i took a tiny 20 minute nap and got up and got tucker together and headed to central park. (keep in mind i checked the website before i left and in hindsight have realized that page was loaded offline) so i get there to the field i wanted and nothing! as i make my way to the other fields with lots of walking and frustration over confusing central park i get there and see nothing! i walked for almost two hours with a 6 pound puppy that only walked the equivalent of about 10/15 street blocks the whole time. then i check my phone and on my phone it said the games were cancelled due to rain... awesome, not!
then i get home and no time for napping, i change into my clothes for the night and see it has started to rain slightly so i put on my rain boots. we walk outside with umbrellas and it was a slight rain... we get about a block away and MASSIVE downpour the rest of the way. it was also windy so basically our umbrellas did nothing and we got soaked from head to toe! we checked in on the standby list then went to a bathroom and used the driers to try and dry off a little.. didnt work so much with me! then we took our place in line when we were allowed to.
they ended up pulling us from the regular line and putting us in the band line and finally still wet we took our seats in the extremely air conditioned studio... just the thing in soaking wet clothes! the filming was pretty fun and we saw martha stewert, some stupid comedian, and got to be on stage when a band played. after it was over we ran out to get to the birthday party and when i did i saw a girl get hit by a cab (nothing serious, a little roll and she was totally fine as exhibited by how quickly she whipped out her cell phone and rolled her head around in anger) so i was like "let's not be good samaritans and just go!" so we did... (and ended up meeting martha's dogs)
eventually we got to chevy's to celebrate matthew and mackenzie's 21st birthday and of course dawn's 22 nd birthday, since today was her birthday. we had a nice meal and chatted with everyone (sasha, marty, amelia, zuri, todd, and brian at one point). then i rushed over to new world stages so i wouldnt be late for check in for karaoke idol.
i was already in a state of panic experiencing slight stage fright before i got there since they wanted a headshot (like i had one of those), but then i got there and the place was bursting at the seems with people, so many of them, the check in line was long, and i saw the performances would be happening down stairs and was being projected on the TOL tvs for anyone who wanted to stay upstairs. then i found out who the judges were... yea i have never been nervous like that before. i mean my pulse was racing, i was on the verge of tears, and at times had a hard time breathing. people tried to make me feel better like dawn, lympus, mkc, and mitch... yea it didnt help! finally i was able to calm myself down enough to pretend like i was ready... and i ended up having a great time and felt so good about facing my fear!
i hung around the whole time standing mostly in my painful rain boots (mistake) and dawn had left to do some shopping then go home. it ended at 2... i still havent slept at this point but the rest makes sense on next entry for the date of it all.

Day 246/365 (April 21, 2009)
The first part of the day was spent doing alot of job applying, and watching fred and tucker play so well together until tucker decided today was his day of sleep. I prepared my dinner for the night... homemade mac and cheese and i added onions to it and it has monteray jack cheese in it as well as the usual cheddar. I just ate some and it was yummy! (this also means i did a bunch of dishes.)
eventually i got dressed and headed out (with tucker) to sasha's just to hang. It is pretty fun walking with tucker since everyone is basically fawns over him. When i got to sasha's i was pleased to find mackenzie and matthew there as well as krysta. AFter krysta took hom out and the rest of us talked and watched some youtube videos. eventually the boys left and it was just sasha and i. as much as i love going out and doing things it really is my favorite to just hang out and talk and stuff.
Finally it got late so i headed home since i had to actually cook my dinner. I found krysta here already which shocked me and we ate some of the mac and cheese and i have been watching tv and playing online.
At one point sasha and i were talking and she was like all people are not the brightest bulbs and i was like but i am pretty brought most of the time and she was all yea but i dont really count you as a person.. ROFL! (not completely verbatim since it was a little while ago but funny nonetheless!
The picture above is me with her High School Musical Gaby bear. i was chilling on her bead and asked Gaby a question and she didnt answer me, and i was like Gaby is just here for moral support... we laughed, and i cuddled with the bear and that is where this picture came from.
Sasha also told me about this water game assassination thing that i REALLY want to do, like it sounds beyond amazing!

Day 239/365 (April 14, 2009)
anywho i did clean up after him quite a few times but we had lots of fun playing around today and everything. Fred plays such a good big brother to him and is really nice to him even when Tucker (who likes to bite) decides that Fred's tail is a chew toy. Emma still won't give tucker the time of day but i found a really good balance between playing with him, and giving the kitties love and attention so they dont feel slighted.
finally i had to stop being a bum and go out for the day (after writing the check for my taxes to NY state, and making my lunch, and organizing my bag to go out.) so i got dressed and was going to go to the 9 to 5 box office after having their beloved discount code print off, then go to Sasha's. We already knew we couldnt go to the park since it was supposed to rain. Anywho when i got out of the subway it was misting and i had tucker with me so i thought it was best not to go to the box office and go straight to Sasha's. On the way from the time i left the apt until i got to her place so many people stopped to come over at look at this cute little bundle of fluff! Anywho Pip was so excited to have a friend over and he was running all kinds of crazy and we had to take extra care until he settled down a bit and in the end he and tucker had a great time together and we tried going on an outing to the box office, but after our quick post office side trip it started to rain lots so we scrapped that mission and went back since it wouldnt be fair for the puppies to be out in that weather. It was nice having some quality time with Sasha and matthew and krysta and nick and the puppies were so cute! i cant wait for the next puppy playdate tomorrow! while sasha, pip, tucker, and myself were out we ran into this super cute puppy that was a boxer (i think) and his owner was all cooing over tucker and then poor pip started dancing on his hind legs to get her attention and was all "what about me" well once she saw him of course she thought he was cute too! i was also impressed that while we were at Sasha's not only did tucker not go potty on her couch or bed, but when he had to he actually used the newspaper there! i was quite shocked and pleased!
Krysta took Tucker over to josh's and eventually i headed home. i really didnt do much when i got here besides some tv and dinner and kitty time. (and writing this of course, and yesterdays!) and despite lack of sleep the past several days i still dont feel tired! eek!
Krysta also gave him a bath when she got home... so cute!
And best missed LOL of the day:
matthew was looking at Tucker's tummy, and said Tucker you have pimples on your tummy
Sasha, Krysta, and I all said they are his nipples
Matthew: well look at my pimples (lifting up shirt)

Day 228/365 (April 3, 2009)
The theatre was in a part of a church and we were really upset because we were one of the first people there and were waiting so we could get the front row, but they opened up the back door and we ended up being in the second to last row, but there were a ton of us!
The show was made awkward because when the subject matter and language of the show was taken into account and you looked up and saw the ginormous murals of jesus and god watching you it was a little creepy! but i was so proud of him and he did such a great job! The majority of the audience was comprised of people there for him (and the other guy) and even Luther came to see him which i thought was really sweet. then all of us and his parents went for a walk finding them a place to celebrate, and we sent them on their way then sasha, marty, and myself did a little errand before going to sasha's for a tiny bit where we put the at this performance sign i stole on nick's door, ad some popsicles, then went to mostly sondheim.
Mostly sondheim was so much fun and i had missed not being there for a whole month! kate was doing something else so it was just brian and todd and todd had people try out to be his co-host and i got to at one point which was super fun and even marty and sasha sang much to my delight! and when i was recounting the awkwardness of god looking down during the show brian started to play god is watching us (from a distance) which sasha and i were like thats what we were singing the whole time! then finally i needed to go home and get some sleep since i was doing some driving for a roadtrip!
when i got home i had an incredibly hard time getting my rain boots off... i mean we are talking my feet ended up swelling so they didnt want to come out and my poor heels were so tender from the boots.... so much pain... but by morning the feet werent swllen anymore which was nice, but they still hurt a bit.
at one point during the day i made heather's birthday card

Day 211/365 (March 17, 2009)
St. Patrick’s Day! I got up and went to meet Karolina at a place on 35th and met some of her other friends, then I went to say hi to Brian the birthday boy at the house of brews. I ended up spending lots of time at 3A with Sasha, Matthew, Mary, and Pip… and eventually Nick and Mackenzie. We performed some SA and 13, and took lots of pictures, we took Pip on a walk to the Wicked Stage Door and I wore no coat… stupid! But I was so green. Someone told me Pip was a summer dog, not a winter dog… what does that even mean? Eventually Matthew, nick, and Mackenzie walked me to the subway but they ran into someone so we spent time doing nothing much and I showed off my “cartwheel” because well I cant do them. I also spent a good portion of the day cutting HSM audio.
Day 206/365 (March 12, 2009)
So much happened on this crazy day.
It was an early day that brought me to do laundry because I hate to come back from trips with a messy laundry basket (and sink but I forgot to do the dishes). I felt like Krysta going to do it because I was wearing flip-flops even though it was slightly chilly and I was wearing her ASU hoodie. I needed to wash the Kentucky one and I realized I couldn’t bring that one to Texas because it says wild cats on it and well I am going to see high school musical which of course has wildcats as their mascot!
I used laundry time to go to CVS and pick up travel sized items and then had an unusually pleasant conversation with my other on the phone that last for over an hour! When I got back I put away my clothes and begun to bake. I made some M&M cookies because I was going to see Matthew is his show later that night and I always promised him that I would bring him cookies if he was in a show! In the midst of baking I began to pack and must say I was very proud of myself because I have never packed so efficiently in my life! Everything fit well and was easy to carry!
Eventually I made dinner and took a shower to get ready for my outing into the outside world. I was also excited to find out Krysta would be joining me since this was also the only performance of his she would be able to catch and I got to see her newly cut hair with bangs that looked great!
Our train moved us along to W 4th street and record time and when we emerged we found a place that had such yummy gelato! Then we went to the performance space and waited. We lucked out and had Matthew’s mom, and brothers at the performance too! Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen his show, A Strange Serenade, which is part of The Short Attention Span Festival of musicals.
The first show was comprised of two guys and a girl. As a musical it sucked… there was no book, it was just songs and these songs didn’t really string together a story they were just individual songs. As far as talent the songs were pretty good, and some down right funny and the people were great singers (most of the time). There was a song about sticking a knife in someone’s heart (and other violent things) that I found downright amusing… and there was a song that had a Patti LuPone freak out moment in it… you know Patti that may have been the most unprofessional thing but it has given us so many wonderful comedy moments now because of it!
The next show was torture. Krysta even put it up there on the list of the disaster that was Nero! All I know is they needed to stop singing about twine and the guy needed to know his lines better. This was part of the SHORT ATTENTION SPAN Theater it should have ended long before it did.
I was so relieved after Matthew’s show was over because it was actually good. I was excited to see Matthew in a show and he (and the others) rocked it. It was about a guy and a girl meeting in a coffee shop on a first date and the girl has this barbershop quartet that follows her around and adds musical moments to her life, and one of them says some funny things to the guy. The guy turns about to be a little crazy and carries a stuffed animal frog around with him everywhere and speaks for him in a frog voice and his name was, I believe, Finneas The Frog. The show was super cute and pretty short, but it had the elements of a good story and was done well. I really am just so proud of Matthew for jumping into this show and making it seem like he had been with it since they begun rehearsals… He is going to go far I am sure!
The final show… oh my goodness! So many things to say about it. As a musical not so much there was a very loose story line and towards the end of it I did feel like they were just sort of beating a dead bush and no book… however it was still hilarious and the people that were in it did such a terrific job! They were all rats and dressed that way (including some seriously long tails). When the show was over we couldn’t stop singing “rats in the city” and “these titties ain’t going to sell themselves, but if they could baby that would be all sorts of good.” The songs were just funny and outrageous and catchy! One was even a rat singing about watching his family being stepped on and him having an eyeball of one of his sons on him… good times! I wouldn’t mind seeing it again sometimes you just need songs that are about nothing with a catchy tune to have a good time!
****END SPOILERS****
After the show our superstar was excited to get cookies, and then we walked to the subway… Krysta failed at stealing a Rooms poster because it was up there pretty good, but fear not we will try again! Then Krysta and I went to karaoke at TOL. She discovered a new drink thanks to Karolina… an amaretto sour, and I sang two songs. I usually only sing songs if I know them well enough thanks to the problems the karaoke tracks have but I really like the song Pour Some Sugar On Me… even if I only know the chorus… yup basically never singing that again train wreck would be putting it lightly but I sure had lots of fun! Later I felt the need to redeem myself so I went with one of my better songs Oops I Did It Again,…, and was highly amused before the music started when Chris yelled from the audience Britney! They know me so well there!
We also had a conversation with someone about Pogs and what kind of slammers we had… yay for real dead scorpion slammers with a purple background, and random sparkly ones that actually worked. Then we headed home.
I did some last minute packing items like chargers and I don’t remember what else but I got everything done and had a little bit of a nap before having to wake up!
AND at some point while packing I remembered I had a hoodie I could wear to Texas and it was green so I chose to bring that since I will likely be wearing it at the parade I am going to and I would like to have some green seen since it is a St. Patrick’s Day parade and my “everyone loves an Irish girl” shirt will be covered by it.

Then we walked down to 125th street to go clothes shopping for me at Marshall's since i dont have that many wearable clothes and i am going away and would like to wear something new! I was surprised at how easily we were able to find things i liked, and even more surprised that i found a pair of pants that i liked... i never find pant si liked! They were a little bit more money than i would have liked to spend on them but they looked great and it felt nice to wear jeans that fit correctly and do not require a belt to keep them from falling! Pip was a stellar shopper and i would have had a hard time without Sasha's help. The checkout line took longer than the shopping experience!
Then we went to go to Sasha's voice lesson down by columbus circle. The subway was being mean to us, so we had to take a cab the last few streets to get her there on time. Then sasha asked if i could go to a bank of america for her, then take pip to the park for the first time, which i totally had no problem doing. Carrying around Pip was kind of fun because everyone that got within a foot or two of him would go "awe" "he's so cute" "look at that puppy" and one woman even stopped me and we spoke for like 3 or 4 minutes, maybe more. i let her think he was mine since it was easier that way and she said i was going to be a good mommy for him.... i was chuckling on the inside, but i will be a good auntie!
We eventually stumbled up the bank and took care of the transaction... i love having a bank that is everywhere... because i know that when i need one i just have to walk a little bit and i will find one... in fact we found two in less than 6 minutes!
Then i took him to the park for his first outdoor walking experience... it didn't go so well. At first he just stayed in one place and wouldnt even move with gentle tugging on his lease. Then i tried coercing him by making him walk after part of a doggie treat... he took like three steps then stopped, and then he started to whimper and cry. I let him eat the treat then i picked him up and decided that we would let Sasha try next time when the ground wasnt so moist from random sprinklings of rain. He was kind of cold despite his jacket so i went into a best buy, then later a bed, bath, and beyond to kill some time and keep him warm. Eventually the time came and we went to meet Sasha at her lesson and Pip got to meet another dog called oscar who i think is a pug, is black, and is super cute... Pip wasnt so much a fan of him, then we went back towards Sasha's place and made a lunch pit stop in Subway and found Matthew, Mackenzie, and Penski in there!
We then went back to the apartment and Nick woke up.... while there Pip tried to eat my food, tried to dig to china on my leg, lots of singing happened, i feel asleep and they had fun with me because i am a fierce sleeper, and lots of fun was had!
Eventually i left and went home because i had Texas stuff to tend to and i made a folder with evrything i need printed out... confirmations, directions, and a cover sheet. I also called a couple places to ask some questions i had about packing and all that fun stuff.
I also ate some left over pizza and asparagus and watched TV and played online... it was a very good and productive day! i didnt take any pictures of the clothes so y'all can see them when i wear them... oh and i am going to a place where more people say y'all!

Day 204/365 (March 10, 2009)

bag my ballet slippers came in
This was quite the day! I had decided i had lots of stuff i needed to do and after taking care of job hunting i set out on my errands for the day. This is the first time i spent lots of time doing errands. Although the weather wasn't technically "a beautiful day" i still left the house with nothing but a hoodie and it was good for me!
My exit began with some door troubles, no idea what happened but it decided that it didnt want to shut so after fighting with it for like 5 minutes i won and went on my way. The plan for the day was get stuff i needed to be able to take the ballet class i want to take and look for stuff for Texas. I headed to 34th street to get athletic wear and sunglasses. I looked in K-Mart and then went to old navy. Nothing worked at Old Navy (and i didnt even find any shirts for texas but that is why sasha and i are going out wednesday), so i went back to K-mart since i saw some there. In between i stopped in H&M hoping to find some sunglasses, but i will grab some cash and look on NYC streets some point soon. I also went to Bank of America to get my temporary debit card. Lucky for them i was in no rush since i ended up waiting 45 minutes for something that was finished in 5 minutes once a person saw me.
i got a chance to catch up on the phone with Mark as i walked.
then i walked over to Broadway Dance Center on 45th to get my photo taken for the ID card i need... sadly no one was at the kiosk so i couldn't do that but i got a feel for the place and asked some questions i had to an actual human and got answers that made me excited and feel better. Then i headed over to Sasha's and was greeted by Matthew and Pip, who he likes to call Nibs. It was nice having the pit stop there and chatting, sadly matthew wasn't feeling so well so he went to go for a long nap and i left before he woke up. Finally i had to leave to get to the Capezio store before it closed. I found the ballet shoes i needed for a very reasonable price and made my way out.
I decided to walk up to columbus circle and go to the Whole Foods there and ended up buying asparagus (asparagoose) and pizza supplies. The line was soooooo very long! but worth it. As i was walking to the store i gave Zina a call on the phone and ended up talking to her for almost an hour as i went on my crazy cheese hunt in the store and waited in line and then went outside. FInally i decided i didnt want to get off the phone and was sick of walking around columbus circle so i just walked to the 72nd street station while talking. and let me tell you it was a much needed talk. i have been having random really depressed moments lately and talking to her really helped, i cant wait for the cold to go away so we can hang out again (she doesnt come into the city when it is cold).
then i came home and made another real dinner of yummy pizza with onions and ate my beloved asparagoose! I finally went to watch Tv and we record Law & Order: SVU every week, and if i am home i usually watch it but today i decided i was going to watch without a trace... well as i was doing that i was checking facebook statuses and saw about 6 people with ones saying Gallagher was on the episode of L&O, and i had gotten a twitter from devon saying the same thing. So as soon as WAT was over i put on L&O. i was excited he had a large part on the show this time and well as yo may know i tend to be a little psychotic when i am watching tv shows and movies... i like violence, and i love bad guys, and i i love to see people cry! poor krysta had to deal with my craziness! he did such an amazing acting job on the show but i kept thinking gallagher! So before i knew who his character was i was hoping he would be the murderer and he finally was! at one point his character was being interviewed by the psychiatrist and he got upset and i started yelling push him push him, and then he did and he feel to the ground and his character picked up a chair to hit him with it and i was screaming yes! the whole time causing krysta to die of laughter! later on he had a dramatic scene and ended up crying and i was like yes crying, and i got to see him dragged away in handcuffs... i dont know why i like to see the bad guys (though his character wasnt actually a bad guy but still) dragged off in cuffs and crying, and why i like so much violence (i like to call drama) but i do!) then instead of going to bed i stayed up way late playing online, writing this, ordering a leotard, and reading Devon's recently updated photo blog.
At one point while watching Without A Trace i stumbled upon someone's blog that had a really funny post that made smile, laugh, and be a little sad all at the same time, but it was a great read!
Krysta and i also decided it was time to throw out our High School Musical shower curtain because it was falling off its HSM hooks by ripping, so now we replaced it with a super cute duck one that i really like, but i miss HSM and it will take some getting used to! At least our bathroom is now primarily blue and not pink.

Day 199/365 (March 5, 2009)
I baked and ate a lot of brownies... but the birthday boy got them no worries!
I saw Rooms from front row and liked it alot. It seemed a little slow to me until Scottish Jewish Princess and then it was awesome! i cant wait to see it again... i went with Matthew and Mackenzie which made me happy because i hadnt spent real time with them in a while... then i hung out at TOL for a tiny bit of karaoke before going to Sidewalk Cafe to meet Karolina and see Frisco Verdes. The lights were too bright at karaoke and since i was barely there i only sang once.
technically i shouldnt talk about FV since they started playing well after midnight but i wanna break up my happy news posts. (this photo however was taken before midnight). THEY HAD LIKE 4 NEW SONGS AND THEY SOUNDED GREAT AND (stupid caps)... it was just fun to see them perform again, and i am sad i am missing the next show, but not too sad since i will be in Texas!
After the show something seriously awesome happened... and it is proof that "I am that good" so karolia asked me to be her Maid of Honor! but she did it in a fun/clever way!
She handed me a hangman game... it had no punctuation just dashes for the letters and slashes for the line breaks. She wouldnt give me any hint or subject and wouldnt even let me guess letters... she just said to figure it out.... and scarily i did on my first try
_ _ _ _/_ _ _/_ _/_ _/_ _ _ _/_ _/_ _ _ _ _ now if i am not amazing for figurng out will you be my maid of honor i dont know what i am!
Then after we chatted with the band we cabbed it to dianes parked car by NWS and i rode the subway with her to chambers street... then i got on my train there and headed home.
I didnt go to bed right away since krysta and i caught each other up on the happenings of our night,

Day 198/365 (March 4, 2009)
I ran into KD at 72nd St while transferring and was glad i didn't look like a crazy person this time, then when i got to the theatre Matthew and Todd had walked with Sasha on their way to an audition. I had never met Todd before and he was pretty fab :D
We got the tickets (ended up getting front row center... too bad i wasnt seeing it) and then went back to Sasha's. I played on Rex (computer) for a bit until Jenny got there and i met her puppy Cashew. He came into the city for a doggie birthday party. He was so cute and we all loved him lots... Matthew and him didnt get along so well at first but once he conquered his fear they became besties as seen above. Todd pretended that Cashew was an understudy for Bruiser Woods and did a lovely scene from Legally Blonde... hilarious!
Then eventually Sasha, Jenny, Cashew, and myself headed down to South Street Seaport to drop Cashew off at the party. There were so many adorable dogs there... they were all so timy and happy and cute and many kept walkig on two legs they were so excited. There was even a mini dalmation which i didnt know existed. There were so many doggies clothes including some st. patrick's day themed ones that made me want a dog so i could i buy them for it.
The we headed to the Life Cafe to get some lunch... the food took forever to come but it was so yummy! Then we headed back uptown and Sasha and Jenny went to mermaid, and i went home to watch High School Musical 3 which Sasha let me borrow and i liked it lots.

Day 187/365 (February 21, 2009)
I got there way earlier than i intended because the subway actually worked super fast at that time of the night but it worked out because there was a bunch of people that hopped in line as soon as i did. I had the cupcakes with me as bribery to get Matthew to come. I saved a table for us (since i knew Sasha, Matthew, and Nick were on their way). Todd was back as a host and i had never seen him at MS before but he is one of my new favorite people! so funny and talented too... At one point during the night we had a Rent sing along that began with Seasons of Love but then it became both parts of La Vie Boheme (we fast forwarded over I Should Tell You) and that was my absolute favorite part of the night! Sasha, Matthew, Nick (the cupcake vacuum), and I had so much fun and we sang every word and threw in some choreography for good measure!!!! we really did come alive during those songs. Another part of the night was filled with some trivia... but Matthew couldn't follow the rules and ruined two questions... silly boy! We also learned what an Ace Hole was and LOL! Which after seeing the reading of "How The Nurse Feels" i just dont understand how he has fans.
Grace finally came towards the end for a little but (i even sang a "cute" but train wrecked version of i'm not that smart and Grace and I have concocted a plan for next week... only if the room ends up being composed of NOT certain people.
When Grace and I got home we stayed up with Krysta until like 6:30 in the morning talking and watching videos... fun but i really shouldnt go to bed when the sun is coming up.
I finally woke up to a phone call from Mark telling me that he thought Story of My life would be closing Sunday since tickets weren't onsale past Sunday. It turns out he was right and i said i would go get us student tickets for the night show. Sadly the BO didnt have student tickets so i went to TKTS for the first time ever! the line was long, but not too bad and it has great security that stopped someone who tried to cut the line! We got ninth row center and that was good times.
The show was quite good in my opinion. I would have loved to have been able to see it a few more times. The set was simple, rather beautiful, and perfect for the show. Until the show began all you saw was a bold black background, a very white podium and a very white desk and chair. i enjoyed its start and contrasting nature. When the show began with an audio recording of two boys the balck background parted ways just a bit to reveal a white background that changed colors depending on the lighting used and Will Chase's character walked out. Eventually the black went away and we saw Malcolm Gets' character chilling on a library book shelf ladder/wheely thing and a massive book case (all white in the back. It was really nifty because it seemed like MG was wearing all white the way the lighting was until he got off the ladder and you saw he was wearing beige. The rest of the stage was awesome because it was slightly curved and they were able to use it to get closer to the book shelves, or at one point run up a jump down.
Another thing i liked about it was when they made snow angels in the "snow" the lights created what looked like the snow-figures as they stood in place moving their arms and legs (like i used to fake jumping jacks in kick boxing)... That amused me to see. Also the lighting made the desk and chair appear blue at one point, and the books lit up on the shelves. There was a story about a butterfly in the show and when i looked at the playbill after and saw the three books had little butterflies on the bottom of each it made me smile! There was a moment when Will's character threw a bunch of papers up in the air, and as the papers started to fall "snow" began to fall from the top of the stage and it was kind of a breath-taking moment to see the flecks of white dance down towards the ground when the lighting had changed to make the background look very much darker than it was. I truly hope this music does get recorded. Another part i liked (and i dont remember exact quotage) was Malcolm's character had told Will's character that because he wasnt there the moment he had died he will never have answers he can only ever have questions... and isnt that a universal truth?
After the show ended i ran into about a bazillion people i knew which was fun, and mark was all "do you know everybody?" the audience was also surprising bcause they were all really respectful. Not one cell phone, i didnt hear any crinkling wrappers, people didnt talk... it was absolute quiet except for the extremely occasional cough, and the one rude person who sounded as if they were opening a can of soda. I have never seen a performance with such overwhelming quiet of people listening to every word! It was fun to share the night with MArk.
Then we went to the stage door and i was able to finally fangirl Malcolm a little bit which made me so happy. I had seen him years ago in an off broadway show called Polish Joke and have been wanting to see him do something else ever since then and well he was worth the wait! Malcolm and WIll both have such beautiful and powerful voices and they blended so well together and their chemistry onstage was astounding... the show had a sad ending but that made it kind of nice actually.
Afterwards Mark and I headed home because he was sleeping over so he could be closer to the airport for his flight to FL in the morning... we stayed up later than we should talking with Krysta and showing him videos too... but this time it was only 12:30! It was a good day!

Day 175/365 (February 9, 2009)
Then i left and headed over to NWS to meet with Karolina and celebrate her one year altar boyz anniversary. (she came to see me as fog girl last year and boy did i get her into the show good!).
The show was great (and as i learned at nicole's birthday show) they are throwing the hat and yamulke back out into the audience at the end of the show!. Austin was on as Luke and teased poor karolina. We made friends with these three ladies visiting from ireland who sat behind us.
After the show was over we went to TOL to continue the celebration and that was pretty good times. It was also open mic night so lots of people were singing and it was good entertainment.
After i went with three people to a bar called Therapy. It was really nice and had fun tables, then we went to Ray's pizza and i got the most yummy white pizza with spinach on top. Eventually i cabbed it home since it was so late.
