Day 36/365 (August 22, 2014)
I got up surprisingly early considering how late I came in last night! Then it was off to work, then home to watch Lola... Only it turned out I wasn't watching Lola so it just ended up being some down time before heading to the gym before meeting Travis for my training session. I also got to open up my favorite toothpaste... it is Crest and full of cinnamon wonderfulness! I have looked high and low for it and thought they stopped making it until I found it in Maine! I also went to Grand Central because they were doing a "picnic in Vanderbilt hall" They had fake grass and picnic tables set up, then had the casts of Pippin, Motown, Cinderella, and Chicago come perform. I found out about it last minute because Ari tweeted she was doing it. It was enjoyable and this cut dad/little girl were right by me and their conversation was melting my heart. I really do need to see Cinderella though because I love the music so much!
Training was rough as always, but I always push through. Travis tells me that I am tough which always makes me chuckle because aside from this I am so not... I can't handle pain so I end up a whiny baby when sick or hurt, but I don't let that affect me during training and do whatever he tells me to do. I then hobbled home and thought I was in for the night until I saw that Mom Salem was in NYC. She is someone truly special to me. She had a major impact on my life and I haven't seen her in like 9 years or so. She was only in town for a few more hours so at 10 pm I hopped in the shower, then headed down to her hotel to meet her. We went to a rooftop bar and chatted and caught up on each other's lives before heading down to Mostly Sondheim. We ended up staying there until 3 am! It was Colleen and Eric Krop and Brian J. Nash and she had a blast! As we were leaving Eric shouted "I love you" haha. Then I dropped her off at her hotel and headed home. On the way I ran into Imani, so we chatted for quite a bit before finally both heading home... by the time I got home it was 4 am, and I still had to get ready for bed!

Day 354/365 (August 7, 2009)
going to try to talk only about the fun stuff for the last few days (we will see if that happens). so i knew i was meeting Mary at Joe's Pub to see Sam Bradley in concert. I had no idea who he was or what kind of music he played but no one else would go with her so i said i would accompany her. i was looking forward to seeing Mary since it had been a while and not so much the actual show. All i knew was he was a solo artist and that it was just him and a guitar. which meant i figured it might not be the most fun since usually even the most talented of musicians if they are solo when they perform by his/her self are dull and boring because they are awkward up on stage and not engaging. I am so glad i could not have been more wrong! not only was he super talented but he was incredibly funny and engaging. he kept saying we were too polite and he worked the room and told funny stories/anecdotes and even had a funny choice of words when encouraging everyone to stay after to meet him. i will meet you in a room in the back (haha) but yea it was just good music and a good time with a good friend. i even took some videos for mary. we were a little thrown though since they are doing construction on the entrance to joe's pub so we had to go in through the public theater entrance. and i ended up there early so i did my favorite pre-joes pub wait time ritual which was go to walgreens and sit in the massaging chair for a while. it always makes my back so happy and it did wonders this time!
we stayed after and chatted with him for a bit and got a picture and he practically doubled over in laughter when i told him i was the one who kept snorting and he even remembered Mary from Texas! And his EP was the niftiest idea! instead of having a CD it was sold as a keychain that had a link and code etched on the back to download it!
Then mary and i said our goodbyes and i walked over to The duplex for mostly sondheim. (it was a pretty quick and straight forward walk. i was very excited when i got there since Colleen was there so she was my buddy for the night. It was so nice/exciting having Brian and Kate back too! (we think it was the first MS of the summer with all three of them present.) There were a lot of people and lots of singing and there was a word/theme of the night i am going to wipe from memory. i finally sang screw loose and after lots of practicing i actually remembered the words on my own and followed the music! HOWEVER i know for a fact i sounded beyond horrible and i guess i am ok with that, because it was fun to sing a different song :D
anywho i came home and after dealing with the insane mess that pip had made on his wee pad/my floor and a few other things i finally fell asleep about 5:30!!!!

Day 347/365 (July 31, 2009)
I have no idea what i did the first part of the day any more or what prevented me from updating then, but i do know towards the later part in the day i received this horrible wound that looked worse in person from Tucker and i reached my breaking point with him. He wont play nice with me i just wont go anywhere near him. This is the day i meant to delete a song from a playlist and accidentally deleted the whole playlist! so i cant connect phone to computer until i use my phone to recreate the playlist as was because i have that list set to automatically synch when connected and i would be sad if i was missing it since its one of my most used playlistsi feel like i made an outing of some sort before coming home and getting ready but can't be too sure. Anywho i made my way to mostly sondheim and was surprised to find Austin there as well, and of course dom. it took forever until they let us in but once they did it was one of the funnier nights for sure. i was brought to tears at one point by quite a funny discussion. Marty Thomas and Emily McNamara were the hosts and once again John Bronson was taking care of the piano (with a few hours notice this time!) They had a completely new staff and the waiter was a little too attentive for my liking but it was his first night. there was a guy who sang Part of Your World in Hebrew and a couple of boys tried and failed beyond all misery to sing Totally Fucked. There were quite the amount of single straight men that also sang... an often novelty there... haha. i even ended up signing the bitch of living (what?) by the end of the night (including all of our hosts) there were like only 8 or 9 people in the room which made for unusual fun... and i was requested to make satan's balls for another birthday party (i must get supplies). i also got complimented on my outfit twice which i always appreciate :D it was my AB jeans and the purple shirt i had bought before i went to TX. Also how did i almost forget the ongoing bump-it. you know that stupid hair thing well emily kept putting all sorts of things in her hair to pretend it was a bump-it such as a CD display case, a red bull can, and a tamborine to name a few!
i would also like to say it is nice coming home to pip because he is so excited to see you that he is a little ball of energy running around because he just cant contain that much excitement in his little body.

Day 340/365 (July 24, 2009)

tucker was nice to me, and even slept next to me while i was busy on the couch. it was pretty good. i even used the software i downloaded and it RECOVERED my deleted pictures and i was so relieved! i met with karolina to give her back her camcorder and i went to mostly sondheim.
i ate a ton of cookies since krysta left them here, how rude! there was this cute kid on the subway and he was eating chips... after he finished he stood up, brushed himself off, then asked his mom for a wipe to clean himself up... OMG it was so precious since he was about two feet tall!
i also took the bus at one point because i was too lazy to walk to the subway and well i got one of the long ones with the circle center that sways and rocks up and down.. i love them! (see above)
mostly sondheim was interesting! Mark and Joey joined me and this week danny calvert and michael buchanan were the hosts... it started wicked late because the fill in pianist never showed up! so they called john bronson who was actually not working that night and he came from home (the bronx) via a cab to rescue the night and play piano! right before he got there danny played piano for a song he sang and then one michael sang and he did a pretty good job, then john arrived and the night really began. lots of fun, i sang i can hear the bells... and michael sang the song i have been getting ready to sing (when brian gets back and i have more confidence) screw loose... it was cute though because michael actually asked me of it was ok if he sang it... lots of fun and i think michael is super sweet and a welcomed guest host as well.
eventually the night ended and joey and i walked with mark from the duplex to 42nd st (well they kept walking i got on the subway). I was so very tired at this point it must have looked like i was beyond drunk even though i wasnt drinking at all because i couldnt walk in a straight line and kept swaying... the walk from 135th to home was a trip to say the least and seemed to have taken an eternity! the sky was already staring to turn a pale shade of blue from the sun creeping up... i brushed my teeth and passed out!

Day 333/365 (July 17, 2009)

i am so over tucker right now. i woke up to his incessant barking to be let out of his crate, of course i cant let him out if he is barking or whining so he doesn't think he can get his way... well he wouldn't stop for like twenty minutes! i finally let him out and he starts playing with one of his toys which means he keeps thinking he is burying it and then he barks at it forever! i am sick of the barking, and then while i was in the bathroom he got a hold of my hand and and bit and it didn't bleed but the pain from it is still coursing through my hand... i am done done done.
i spent some time today looking through my photo blog's beginnings since i am so close to achieving success! it is kind of crazy... without looking at what i wrote i would say abut 90% of the time as soon as i saw the picture i knew just what had happened that day and what i was about to read! i just didnt realize how nifty it would be to be able to reflect, i know i will continue this after i make it to 365, it might not be an exactly everyday thing, but it will continue because i can't let go of a great way to reflect back on my life!
Success was mine when i finally found red velvet cake mix not at the store by kim like i thought i would, nor at the store closest to The Duplex, but finally at a Gristede's somewhat close to The Duplex... man oh man that took so long! i then went and met up with mark, and then joey to see patrick in a show called As Gay As It Gets at The Duplex... first time i have been there during normal hours and not mostly sondheim. Beforehand Mark and I grabbed some grub at a Qdoba and it was yummy.
The show was super cute and pretty funny and Patrick was fabulous! it ended about 8:10 and then Mark, Joey, and myself met up with Patrick in the main upstairs bar area. Seriously i have never spent any time there except waiting to get into mostly sondheim but it was actually pretty fun and at one point one of the creators of the shw came over and hung with us for a while... we spoke of lots of things and i never once turned red and it was just a good time.
the three of us (mark left sadly) went into mostly sondheim and this week brian and kate were away and it ended up being just Marty Thomas and Jon, who was filling in for Brian. Dom joined us and so did two others (michael alden and greg). a few of the highlights of the night were marty's one man omigod you guys from legally blonde, patrick actually singing a sondheim song, dom singing things are moving too fast and proclaiming that rose's turn has been retired unless someone puts $20 in the bucket, my bashing the harry potter movie, and the super awesome employees. the lowlights would be patrick and i planning on singing suddenly seymour until sydney sun it with someone else, so i decided to sing good morning baltimore and someone else singing it, then deciding on singing out tonight... and well i tried but it didnt go well... lesson learned do not attempt singing unless brian is at the piano since he understands my ineptitude at following along with music and can help me along... yea not that song ever again! also it became like rent night with la vie boheme parts A and B with I should tell you, what you own, and i'll cover you reprise being sung... yea i guess it made me miss rent because i started getting all teary eyed at one point, and i am sad i can't make it to boston to see the tour one last time... even though i thought i had made my peace with it back in New Jersey!
anywho after a fun night it ended at like 3:40, then i headed to path mark and bought the eggs i needed, came home and baked the red velvet cake so it had time to cool. seriously i woke up around 8:15 in the morning and this night i went to bed at 6:30... it was a long long day! but fun all around!
ps today was half evil as far as my blog is concerned since 333 is half of 666

Day 326/365 (July 10, 2009)

The day began on the usual side and then i discovered some DVD's... i watched parts from an easter bonnet and gypsy of the year competition. It was pretty fun watching except when i saw Rent's Easter Bonnet from last year... yea it made me cry pretty much from the beginning until the just shortly after the end. i love that it still has such an emotional power over me, it is nice to know i am not completely "emotionally dead inside" as i like to often to joke.
i headed out and met karolina in bryant park and thus began our evening of talking and wedding planning and just a nice time catching up. we were there for a wicked long time but then it got chilly so we went inside at a mcdonald's... i got an angus, bacon cheeseburger... i normally dont dig fast food but i was hungry and it was actually really good! (but i could just have been really hungry)
we ended up staying there until really really very late until they told us they were closing, so that is finally when we parted ways... i came home and instead of getting myself ready for my new rochelle trip tomorrow i am watching tv and writing this! i came home so i wouldnt be up so late from mostly sondheim... guess i will be up late anyway :(

Day 319/365 (July 3, 2009)

the emotional downpour continued and have been watching lots of tv and eating too much i am sure. i really need to get myself out of this funk man. i mean i'm not usually this consistently dumpy and unfortunately it seems to get even worse after i have a little bit of fun such as last night... this is a picture of krysta and her broken tooth, i took it on our way home last night well after midnight so its the most interesting picture of the day...
i did dishes and drank a whole bunch of root beer... and anyone who actually knows me (at least in the last 7-ish years) i dont really drink soda and when i do it almost never is anything except gingerale! yea so not good signs, uh-uh no way! sleeping on the new monsterous height of a bed was really comfy and alot easier to get down from than on!
went to mostly sondheim with hope and emily mcnamara was a guest host... she really is awesome! and this guy Josh Walden was also the host and he was so talented and funny!
Colleen ended up coming there too and the night was filled with many LOL moments and i got up and sang and get this they said i sounded really good! not the usual good jobv they said i actually sounded really good and when i was like really they said yes... including colleen! so well i was feeling pretty good! and jeffery and cole sang suddenly seymour... it was high quality entertanment and danny pintauro (who's the boss) sang sweet transvestite and was uber bubbly and stuff... another guy sang dont cry for me argentina in spanish... and cute waiter was working! Day 312/365 (June 26, 2009)
i decorated the cupcakes i baked with sunshine and equality! anywho i dont remember what i did besides that during the day, but then i headed out and began craziness amidst random rain.i helped chris with wicked lotto (we lost) then i traveled to three different pinkberrys to sample the free new flavors! then i needed real food so i got subway.
then i went to sasha and marty's and watched some pirates of the caribbean 2 and hung out until going to mostly sondheim. it was fun as always especially with marty and sasha there... marty sang willingly and then bribed sasha to sing. my cupcakes were a hit and some guy bought my table a round of drinks he was so grateful... lol! then home i went.
Tuesday, June 16, 2009
Day 298/365 (June 12, 2009)
day was pretty basic... except no tucker because krysta had him in jersey... so it was just me, him, and emma... we napped a little all three together (rock on!) and finally i headed out. pip and i went to times square and blew bubbles for a bit with everyone else who was doing it (so cool!) then we went and helped out cheryl and jake at the rock of ages lotto... then we went back to pip's home... i was really quite sad to give him back since he was so much fun!anywho then we all hung out with sasha, marty, and fred! we played some hardcore wii (super mariokart) and i just had a lot of fun, then i headed out to mostly sondheim. there were so many people there and i was irked because i kept getting hit and having to get up for a girl to go in and out of her seat. but it was another night of fabulous music and entertainment that ended earlier than usual... and besides a seasons of love sing along we had a la vie boheme a sing along... thou that was mostly me, brian, and Dom. then i went home!

Day 284/365 (May 29, 2009)
the day didnt start off to great... i almost used body wash instead of shampoo, then almost lost my balance completely and fell in the shower... can you say heart attack? well then it got better (not) when i was taking tucker ona walk and he got a hold of a chicken bone and even trying to swap him pupperoni for it didnt work and resulted in my hand in his mouth, and then my other hand attacked while trying to free that hand. in the end i had at least 15 scratched and puncture wounds bleeding from it and two swelling bruised fingers that hurt like nobodies business for the next two days. (we call him demon puppy for a reason)then the day got better. i accomplished a goal i had set for myself sometime in march as soon as the weather got to a point that was ideal for me and i walked from 141 and lennox to 46th street (richard rodgers theater). anywho the walk was great... i had my music and i walked there in the time it took to listen to the Xanadu OBC and *NSYNC's No Strings Attached (UK Release) all the way through. it was nice having time for myself and stretching those legs. the only stinky thing about it was sometime when i was at 72nd street where broadway and amsterdam sort of criss-cross i thought i had put myself on broadway to finish the walk but i guess i wasnt paying attention because i stayed on amsterdam. but i wasnt really thinking i was just listening to my music and walking and i mean flags werent raised for me that i was on the wrong path at first because i walk along those lines quite often! i needed to be at in the heights in time for the lotto at 6 and when i realized i was on either 10th or 11th ave i had to high tail it and ended up running the last 5 streets to make lotto in time. i dont run and it was painful and not a cool way to end my serene walk, and they ended up calling lotto 2 minutes before 6, and i was ticked off... though not too bdly since sasha did win but still i was mad!
anywho so i met up with sasha, marty, and autumn and then we evetually headed to Vynl for dinner... got the turkey burger this time and then autumn and sasha went to the show, and marty and i went to the apartment. he did someunpacking and i did some fred time. we played with pip for a bit then marty set up his wii and played that for a while, so much fun! and fred spent the whole time like that on the coffee table.
then i met sasha and autumn at pinkberry and we headed to mostly sondheim. it was of course another great night of fun there and the two of them sang for good, and did a great job, and there were FOUR hosts for a while since marty thomas, brian nash, danny calvert, and a tricky Kate pazakis were there (kate left after an hour or so). they began singing aquarius and let me tell you the sound that came from them was way more powerful and fierce than the whole of the broadway cast. it actually made me enjoy the song for once (i am not a big hair fan).
the rest of the night had fun moments including MT and DC doing the whole of omigod you guys from legally blonde. i made my way home and crawled into bed at 5 am since it ran until 4!

Day 263/365 (May 8. 2009)
I left NWS at 2 am and instead of going home i went to meet Hope waiting in line to see NKOTB on the Today show as part of the concert series.she had chairs for us which rocked hardcore! eventually Dawn came and joined us and brought arts and craft supplies and we made posters... ok mine wasnt so much a NKOTB poster, but a drawing.. i ended up snoozing for about 20 minutes, and they helped me pry off my boots that had literally welded to my socks! my feet were swollen and in pain. i also learned that i love NKOTB, but old school them. i was no where near excited or as obssessed as most the people but it was fun being in that atmosphere with friends.
they finally let us in and the standing began! during soundcheck the crowd revolted towards the people in the front with signs, i witnessed a 10 year old girl that needs anger management tools, and admited defeat. i was so tired and in so much pain i couldnt wait the next two hours on my feet to see them, so i was hppy with the two full soundcheck performances and dawn and i left. i got home and got an hour nap in before getting ready and heading out.
i went to New Rochelle to help with my cousin dennis' 6th birthday party (star wars theme). i frosted the super amazing lego cakes and helped set up and all that. 13 6 year old boys in a contained area is work! but the party was fun and a sucess. the only sad thing was i had taken my camera out to snap a few photos of party was it was set up, and my camera i named after the immortal Duncan MacLeod died! i guess he wasnt immortal after all! his lens wont go back in and i cant use him any more and i feel like i have lost my right arm! (bonus i got 9 boxes of samoa girl scout cookies (my fave) and a box of trefoils (my 2nd fave).) i need to spell better!
after i got back into the city and met up with Ewa from her bus from Boston then we went home. i was so excited that both of our annoying houseguest had departed and found a disgusting mess when i was changing the sheets to clean ones for ewa. i mean really... if you are going to have your period and have an accident (ON SOMEONE ELSE'S COUCH) then dont leave it and not tell them... so i found dried period gunk on my couch that went through the (now thrown out) sheets and onto the mattress... yea tossing that too!
anyway ewa freshend up then we met dawn at the seinfeld diner and got some good eats, then we headed to mostly sondheim (dawn went home to pack). got there on the early side so ewa and i strolled for a bit before heading in. we got there and found lympus, collen, and michael from NWS so we sat with them and it was nice. Marty and Brian ended up hosting alone but it was of course still fabulous and fun times! ewa even sang, and i was sad we left t so early, and missed lots of fun, but she didnt want to stay out too late, and quite frankly if she hadnt of made me leave i may not have made it back in one piece because i was so tired!
i then crawled into bed and slept for a few hours... it was beyond needed!

Day 256/365 (May 1, 2009)
I woke up and got myself together. Eventually i made my way to Kim's apartment to move in for the weekend to play with the puppy and take care of her. Somehow my name disappeared of the list so i got stuck in the lobby for about 45 minutes until Tom was able to call and straightened things out. The doorman was trying to be helpful but he was just annoying the crap out of me!
I understood completely he couldnt give me the key until they called, so i waited quietly on the couch calling and texting like crazy. he kept asking me if i got a hold of them, and after the 4th time i was like i will tell you as soon as i do. (like i would talk to them, then not tell you? idiot!) and he also kept trying to explain to me "i cant let you up there if your name is on the list.... blah blah blah AS IF i was making a big deal about it... i wasnt i said its ok let me try calling then sat on one of the lobby couches... it just ticked me off because i was being so nice and not making a big deal and it was almost as if he was looking for a big deal!
I finally got the keys and settled in. It is so much fun and easy playing with Kim's puppy. she greets you with a toy and gives you kisses and you can just pet her, and she doesn't bite! she also knows exactly where to go potty at and you just have to feed her and clean up the wee wee pads. no messes on the floor!
I left to go to Mostly Sondheim, even though i knew brian wasnt going to be there, but hey it is still fun no matter who is there. I met this nice couple, and one of the girls from last week. we had fun and this week there was a word game also, platypus. so i sang mama, i'm a platypus now. i as also kinda surprised that i saw cole and MA there. The fill in piano guy (john) was super nice and did a good job. it was also nice getting "home" so quickly after i left.
Though the only "sad" part of the day was during one of the times when they were trying to fill space. Kate asked Danny if he knew any monologues and he was like yes, and begun doing Mark's pre-Epiphany monologue from Altar Boyz. Well he kept getting hung up every so often, and despite my best efforts to run it in my head and help i failed! the moment of truth and i couldnt do it, but i know i know it... when i think about it i can recite any part of the show, though i try not to as that is just a bad sign at how many times i have seen it. AT one point Kate was like Tamra help him out you've seen it like 122 times... she was close, i am at 119, though monday will be 120!

Day 249/365 (April 24, 2009)
The day started off pretty hum drum, but then things picked up! Emily texted me to say she had time to kill and she was in the courtyard and i should come meet her. I was already meeting Krysta in that general area a little while later so i figured i should head down early.
I took one of the fastest showers i have ever taken and packed tucker's doggie bag before heading out. I got to the courtyard and then emily and i began our hour plus long walk around hell's kitchen since i knew we couldnt stay in the courtyard because they don't allow dogs. Emily learned the power of tucker and how people just stop to say how cute he is, and pet him, and take pictures of him. She also held him almost the whole time which is no easy task since he is 5.5 pounds. Then finally we snuck to the courtyard to sit for a tiny bit and cradled him so security wouldnt notice... and thankfully they didnt!
Then i walked up to the columbus circle area to meet krysta at the vet office for tucker to get some shots. Since i was no longer meeting with Kim and Susie i just stayed there and ended up chatting with the front office guy and he was super nice. Finally when we left it was decided i would take tucker home because krysta wanted to go see a movie (and strangely this was the first time i ever brought him back home.) I think my favorite tucker story is right before we parted ways i was like tucker hasnt gone to the bathroom since before we left the apt, and just then he started doing his i have to pee whimper. We set him down, and this man saw him and literally stopped then walked over and bent down to pet him. he was stopped when he saw the stream coming, but then krysta wiped him down... but it was just finny to see him brought over like a magnet.
It was such a beautiful day and i really didnt mind holding tucker and i just didnt feel like going in the subway yet, so i decided i was just going to walk to 72nd street so i didnt have to transfer from the 1 to the 2 or 3. As i was walking i realized how close i was to my aunt's apartment and knew she would ant to meet puppy so i gave her a call and met up with her. We ended up getting some very yummy pinkberry that i havent had in way too long and she was all sorts of in love with tucker!
Finally i headed home because i needed to set him down and he needed to run around a bit, which he did with mr. fred. Krysta came home and we talked about the happenings since we parted ways and then i headed out to Mostly Sondheim.
This week Titus Burgess was helping Kate and Brian host MS and it was just an interesting night to say the least. I sat at a table and then these two random strangers sat down with me, which was very welcomed so i wasnt at a table by myself. we got to chatting and they were from Tokyo and here to see as many of the new shows this season they could. They ended up asking if i could take a picture with them which means my head was inflated because of my star power (haha) the night was fun and i even got up the guts to sing (Good Morning Baltimore) and i love how friendly the crowd always is there and helpful in my hard time following the music, and i they gave me some awesome back up vocals... defiantely the favorite time i have ever had the guts to sing because it was just so much fun! i lvoe the MS... i just think i maybe shouldnt go as much because of how late i stay up then i pay for it on saturday... but i wont stop because i have too much fun and hopefully sasha will come next week!

Day 242/365 (April 17, 2009)
I was also starting to feel really stressed and in a really not good mood and spent most of the day on the verge of tears. Anyway i had to go meet Karolina to drop off my speakers and with some coaxing from Sasha and Kim i decided to not just go home and hang with them. Krysta and i (with tucker) rode the subway down and then parted ways.
Finally i dropped off the speakers to karolina, just missed helping carina with hair lotto and went to the courtyard to meet Kim and Susie since we were going to have dinner at Blockheads. The weather was so nice and it was an hour and 45 minute wait! any way while we were waiting Krysta swung by and showed tucker to susie and kim, which i cant seem to find the pictures i took of that!
after aiting for more than we should have we found out blockheads claimed to have called our name and we missed it which was a complete sack of hooey! so we ended up going to Renaissance diner and got some serious yum! i was in much better spirits at this point, after we split up and i went to Sasha's and was greeted vert excitedly by Pip! i spent lots of time there and by the time i left i was definitely much happier and headed to Mostly Sondheim even though no one was going with me.
Nothing says LOL like listening to Body, Mind, & Soul from ABz on the subway whilst AK is in the same car as you... that was hysterical to me at least!
I got to Mostly Sondheim and sat with some of the regulars and it was a fun evening that once again scandalized me! I even learned the name of someone i call KDL, and that was exciting! Finally i headed homke and went to bed around 5!

Day 228/365 (April 3, 2009)
The theatre was in a part of a church and we were really upset because we were one of the first people there and were waiting so we could get the front row, but they opened up the back door and we ended up being in the second to last row, but there were a ton of us!
The show was made awkward because when the subject matter and language of the show was taken into account and you looked up and saw the ginormous murals of jesus and god watching you it was a little creepy! but i was so proud of him and he did such a great job! The majority of the audience was comprised of people there for him (and the other guy) and even Luther came to see him which i thought was really sweet. then all of us and his parents went for a walk finding them a place to celebrate, and we sent them on their way then sasha, marty, and myself did a little errand before going to sasha's for a tiny bit where we put the at this performance sign i stole on nick's door, ad some popsicles, then went to mostly sondheim.
Mostly sondheim was so much fun and i had missed not being there for a whole month! kate was doing something else so it was just brian and todd and todd had people try out to be his co-host and i got to at one point which was super fun and even marty and sasha sang much to my delight! and when i was recounting the awkwardness of god looking down during the show brian started to play god is watching us (from a distance) which sasha and i were like thats what we were singing the whole time! then finally i needed to go home and get some sleep since i was doing some driving for a roadtrip!
when i got home i had an incredibly hard time getting my rain boots off... i mean we are talking my feet ended up swelling so they didnt want to come out and my poor heels were so tender from the boots.... so much pain... but by morning the feet werent swllen anymore which was nice, but they still hurt a bit.
at one point during the day i made heather's birthday card

Day 214/365 (March 20, 2009)
Hope left at almost 5 in the morning to head to the airport to go to London for the week! Then I chatted with Krysta for a bit before I went back to sleep. I woke up with a really bad headache and an achy throat… but the throat was from lots of singing and screaming last night. So I made tea with honey and my throat felt better, but my allergies are flaring up from having two different kitties taking turns sleeping on my chest. If only my headache would go away!
I have also been watching charmed and fighting a really depressive mood. I usually am never a down in the dumps type of person so it scares me when I am feeling really sad. I also realized i was feeling sick, and not just little sick but deathly ill sick. I still wanted to go to Mostly Sondheim but i finally realized that going out would be a really bad idea. i ended up going to bed
fairly early for myself.

Day 200/365 (March 6, 2009)

i put a heart on the oven to symbolize no hard feelings, even if we will never be friends!
um 200 say what? i am beyond excited i have made it this far!
This picture may not look like a celebratory monumental picture for the big day... but i promise you it is!
I dont have to have the oven as my sworn enemy anymore! i can't go into detail but if you know what the oven is, this is a major win moment for me... but pretty please do not comment as to what it is since this is a public thing
i watched the rest of She's The Man (started last night before i went out), and have been enjoying watching Spin City and Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and Full House during the day.
I also began helping Sasha with her quest to break the world text messaging record... translation i will be texting her alot! if you have her number you should too :D
I also realized that today is my two year anniversary of Old Springs Pike, even if they are now The Spring Standards i am so happy to have found them. their music is really something special and i can't imagine these past two years without all of the friends i made by going to their different shows... especially my facebook thread of doom people. it all started with my being terribly directionally challenged!
the day isnt over yet, so i might update this later but i doubt there will be anything worth while mentioning until i get to mostly sondheim which starts around midnight so it will catch tomorrow's post!
I am sad i will not be seeing NB at The After Party tonight since i know he will sound great and i havent seen him sing in a while, but i just cant get over my sheer hatred of stupid BC and his hurtful ways. The After Party is a great thing, but not when the host insults people and hurts their feelings and people still go back, i just dont understand it!

Day 196/365 (March 2, 2009)
The day wasn't eventful until Krysta, Mary, Karolina, Mark, Michelle, and myself went to a reading of a musical called Homeland that Kyle Dean was in. The musical was pretty good but it was only selections from it so i feel like they cut back on the secondary story line which made sense to feature the main story line, but sometimes i felt like something was missing. The cast was perfect, and the music was quite something. Deborah Lew has such a pretty voice, and well everyone was just fantastic.I was pleasantly surprised to see that Michael, who was co-host at mostly sondheim last friday, was in it. Kyle Dean did a great job and got to sing one of my 3 favorite songs that was performed. ("something in the key of d" is what i refer to it as)
We chatted with Kyle Dean after for a bit and he was surprised to see all of us there.
The most random favorite things of the day for me though play to my "i am so totally a superstar" mindset. so when we went to check in the person with the guest list didnt even ak for my name, and was like sheehan you are all set... and i was impressed he knew my last name too! then the best part so when we were waiting around for the house to open this guy asked me :excuse me, have i seen you perform at the duplex?" and i was like oh you mean mostly sondheim and he was like yea... turns out he saw me and grace sing church rulez and remembered me... that made my day. Especially since he said perform, not sing... which makes it sound like i had a show there or something which would never happen in a million years but still! and to top it off turns out he was the one who wrote Homeland!
ps there was alot of snow on the ground! apparently it was a blizzard.

Day 193/365 (February 27, 2009)
yea it is square but it was tricky homemade dough!!!!
The biggest event of the daylight hours occurred at the grocery store. I wanted to make pizza so grace and i went and bought the supplies but because we couldn't find pizza dough i decided to try to make it on my own. It ended up being a good project for the day but i didn't like the yicky feeling i had well mixing or kneeding it. I usually enjoy mixing things with my hands but this just felt weird and yea i dont think i will do it again. Next time i will make my ay to Whole Foods and buy the dough i like... and the sauce i like!
I also spent some time with Fred and Emma, and got a good picture of them liking each other (ok well getting along)... which they are very good at not letting you get but i snuck up on them.
Krysta, Grace, and I ate the pizza which was yet another real dinner for me which was nice. I also spoke on the Phone with Ted, and emailed with my cousin... i need to get out to New Rochelle on the sooner side to visit them!
Went to Mostly Sondheim (of course) and had lots of fun. This week Todd hosted again and since Kate was away in CA this guy named Michael filled in. He sounded great and was quite funny. AT one point Grace and i got brave and we sang Church Rulez... it actually was a disaster and we did follow the music pretty well for the most part.... it was no where near perfect but it was lots of fun and Todd and Michael were super nice to us and warned everyone we needed a lot of support... haha but it was great and fun!
